    the operating rod (8) extending under said casing (6) is, on the hand, designed so as to be capable of being subdivided through cutting in an area (21) substantially in front of the cut-out mark (20) of the face-plate (9) and, on the other hand, includes, viz. in said area (21), connecting means (22), such as a toothing (23), on one and/or on the other one of its side edges (24), designed so as to be capable of co-operating with connecting means (25), having a matching shape, associated with said control means (26) designed to actuate the cut length (27) of the cut operating rod.
  2.   3. Espagnolette or espagnolette-lock (5) with associated control means (26) for a barn door (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the control means (26) are formed by an espagnolette (26A) or an espagnolette-lock (50).

Espagnolette or espagnolette-lock (5) with associated control means (26) for a barn door (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that after cutting it is accommodated in an encasing groove in the fillister (10) of the front stile (12) of the upper leaf (2), fastening means (35) being provided for ensuring the fastening of the cut lower end (36, 36A) of the face-plate (9) and the operating rod (8) extending under the casing (6), respectively.
  5. Espagnolette or espagnolette-lock (5) with associated control means (26) for a barn door (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that it includes locking means (42) designed so as to be capable of ensuring the locking of the upper leaf (2) with respect to the lower leaf (3) when the latter are folded back to their sash-frame (4).

Espagnolette or espagnolette-lock (5) with associated control means (26) for a barn door (1) according to claims 4 and 5, characterised in that said locking means (42) are defined by said cut lower end (36A) of said operating rod (8), which is capable, in locked position of the espagnolette or espagnolette-rod (5), of being protruding with respect to the lower rail (38) of the upper leaf (2), in order to co-operate with a keeper (39) the comer (37) between the front stile (13) and the upper rail (31) of the lower leaf (3) is provided with.
  7. Espagnolette or espagnolette-lock (5) with associated control means (26) for a barn door (1) according to claims 4 and 6, characterised in that said fastening means (35) form a rod-exit guide.
  8. Espagnolette or espagnolette-lock (5) with associated control means (26) for a barn door (1) according to claims 2 and 6, characterised in that the keeper (39) is defined by an opening in a horizontal leg (40), extending in the fillister (30) of the upper rail (31) of the lower leaf (3), of the right-angle bend (29).
