Definitions
- the present invention is based on the object To propose a method and a device with the new Meshes can be formed without it forming the stitches to optically disturbing holes in the knitted piece is coming.
- the object is achieved with a method for education new stitches solved on a knitting machine where two stitches from a stitch hanging on a knitting needle be formed by the stitch hanging on the knitting needle taken over by a transfer element assigned to the knitting needle and then a new stitch loop from the knitting needle through the mesh hanging on the transfer element is pulled through. From the original stitch that was on End of stitch formation on the transfer element hanging, the knitting needle became an additional full-fledged one creates a new stitch at the end of the stitch formation process hanging in the knitting needle. The one on the stitch transfer element hanging stitch can then on another Knitting needle to be put around and as a starting stitch for a new one Mesh stitches serve.
- the new stitches formed by this process are later not visible as holes in the finished knitted piece. It arises rather a perfect piece of knitted fabric, regardless of the number of newly formed stitches.
- the needle can do this be driven out far until the stitch behind the open Tongue comes to rest, then a thread in the needle inserted and retracted so far that the stitch comes to rest on the closed tongue before that the stitch transfer element associated with the needle is advanced and inserted between the legs of the stitch and then the needle is withdrawn, leaving the original stitch the newly formed on the stitch transfer element and in the needle Stitch hangs.
- the needle can only go so far be driven out that stitch on the open tongue comes to rest, then the stitch transfer element assigned to the needle advanced and between the legs the stitch is inserted and then the needle is advanced and a knitting thread is inserted by pulling back the needle through the one hanging on the stitch transfer element Stitch is pulled through so that the original stitch the newly formed on the stitch transfer element and in the needle Stitch hangs. So there is the possibility of the stitch both on the open needle tongue and on the closed one Take up the needle tongue through the stitch transfer element. In both cases the stitch is sufficiently taut, that the stitch transfer element between the stitch legs can be introduced.
- the needle can open slider to be advanced until the stitch comes to rest behind the opened slide, then a thread is inserted into the needle and the slide is closed and the needle is pulled back so far that the Stitch will lie on the closed slider before the stitch transfer element assigned to the needle is advanced and inserted between the legs of the stitch and then the needle is withdrawn so that the original Stitch on the stitch transfer element and in the needle new stitch formed hangs.
- the method according to the invention can therefore be independent of Insert the needle type. It is also equally suitable for Flat and circular knitting machines.
- the knitting machine according to the invention for performing a The method according to the invention has for all needles with which new stitches are to be formed, an assigned transfer element up to the mesh formation area of the Knitting machine is advance.
- FIG. 1a and 1b show the widening of a knitted fabric lateral shifting according to a procedure according to the State of the art.
- the thread course is shown in FIG. after stitches of needles E, F, G and H by one Needle has been transferred to the right. This made the Needle E free and the total knit width expanded by one stitch.
- the stitch becomes a catch handle on the released needle E. formed, as Fig. 1b shows.
- This tuck is later as a so-called "cover hole" in the finished knitted fabric see. The tuck is not closed until the next row of knitting knitted into a full stitch.
- Fig. 1c is the formation of an initial row for a double-faced Section of a knitted piece according to the state of the Technology shown.
- FIG. 2a, 2b shows the formation of a new stitch for widening a knitted piece according to an inventive Method.
- the stitch E was doubled carried out.
- the stitch 7, which is in a stitch doubling process, as for example in the Figures 4a to 4f is described on the stitch transfer element 5 is hung together with the stitches of the Needles F, G and H hung around a needle to the right.
- the previously empty needle I is covered with a stitch and thereby the knitted fabric is widened by a needle.
- stitch 8 formed with the needle E the stitch structure from needle A to I is closed from the beginning, that is, there is no "cover hole". In the the first row of knitting after the side cape form all Needles A to I stitches (Fig. 2b).
- Fig. 3 shows the course of the stitch at the transition from a single-surface Knitted fabric on a two-part knitted fabric forming new stitches according to an inventive Method.
- the first row already exists from full stitches 7, 7 ', 7' ', 7' '' and 7 '' '', from which by an inventive stitch doubling process the new stitches 8, 8 ', 8' ', 8' '' and 8 '' '' emerged are (Fig. 3a).
- 3b shows the first row of knitting, in which all the needles involved in the knitting process Form the first row of stitches. These are in the front needle bed needles A to N, needles e to i in the rear needle bed.
- FIG. 4a to 4f is based on cross-sectional drawings through the needle beds 1 and 2 of a flat knitting machine an inventive stitch doubling process with the different positions of the needles 3 and 4 involved and the stitch transfer elements 5 and 6 shown.
- Fig. 4a are the needles 3 and 4 and the stitch transfer elements 5 and 6 in their basic position.
- the needle 3 becomes 300 in the direction of the arrow advanced so far that the stitch 7 behind the open Tongue 32 of the needle 3 comes to rest.
- Fig. 4c shows a further knitting thread 80 in the hook 31 of the Needle 3 inserted by means of a thread guide 81.
- 5a to 5c describes, for example, the reassignment of the the transfer element 5 hanging stitch 7 on another needle 3 'of the same needle bed.
- This will be the stitch transfer element 5 or the needle bed initially offset laterally so that the stitch transfer element now in the area of the needle 3 ' comes to rest.
- the needle 3 ' is advanced in the direction of the arrow 300, so that her needle hook 31 'between the legs of the Mesh 7 dips (Fig. 5a).
- the stitch transfer element 5 retracted in the direction of arrow 501 so that the stitch 7 now hangs alone on the needle 3 '(Fig. 5b).
- the needle 3 ' is then in its normal position in the direction of arrow 301 withdrawn so that the stitch 7 in the hook 31 'of the needle 3' lies.
- FIG. 7a and 7b show an alternative to adopting the Stitch 7 from the needle 3 through the stitch transfer element 5.
- Fig. 4 it was shown how the stitch 7 on the closed Tongue 32 of the needle 3 lying on the stitch transfer element 5 was acquired.
- the stitch 7 is according to 7a lying on the open tongue 32 of the needle 3 Advance of the stitch transfer element 5 in the direction of arrow 500 taken over by its tip 51. Then the needle 3 advanced in the direction of arrow 300, a knitting thread 80 inserted into the needle hook 31 and then the needle 3 in the direction of the arrow 301 withdrawn and thereby a new stitch loop pulled through the original stitch 7 (Fig. 7b).
- the method according to the invention cannot only be used with Carry out latch needles, but also with sliding needles 30, as Fig. 8 shows.
- the stitch 7 is closed on the Slider 35 of the needle 30 lying from the stitch transfer element 5 taken over by driving in the direction of arrow 500.
- the Hook 34 of the needle 30 is already the further knitting thread 80 was inserted.
- the needle 30 is in the direction of the arrow 331 withdrawn, a new stitch loop is created in the Needle hook 34 formed and the stitch 7 from the stitch transfer element 5 completely adopted.
- FIG. 9 illustrates the stitch pattern after a doubling of Stitches.
- the stitch 7 is transferred to the stitch transfer element 5 been.
- the stitches 7 'and 7' 'are 8' when forming the stitches and 8 '' have been knitted.
- the stitch 8 is through itself stitch 7 located on the stitch transfer element is pulled through.
- the stitches 8, 8 'and 8' 'formed with the thread 80 hang in the hooks of needles 3, 3 'and 3' '.
