Die eingespannte Papierbahn 1 bzw. Teilpapierbahnen 16 bis 19 bewegen sich jeweils entlang eines Laufpfades z. B. A; B; C. Sie werden durch Krafteinwirkung durch die Einrichtung zum Umlenken einer Bahn 13; 21 bis 24 auf ihre Ober- und/oder Unterseite aus ihrem Laufpfad z. B. A in einen anderen Laufpfad z. B. Laufpfad B bzw. Laufpfad C gezogen. Da die Einrichtung zum Umlenken 13; 21 bis 24 eine Einrichtung zum Festhalten 13, 44 und Fördern 13; 44 der Bahn/Teilbahn aufweist, wird also die festgehaltene Bahn 1; 16 bis 19 gleichzeitig entlang des bisherigen Laufpfades z. B. Laufpfad A und des neuausgewählten Laufpfades z. B. Laufpfad C bewegt und an einer in die Bahn 1 bzw. Teilbahn 16 bis 19 eingebrachten Quersollbruchstelle/Sollreißlinie (Querperforation oder Wasserspur) getrennt. Dies geschieht, weil durch die auf die Bahn/Teilbahn ausgeübte Zugkraft die Reißfestigkeit an der Quersollbruchstelle überschritten wurde. Die betroffene Bahn/Teilbahn wird durchgehend so auseinander getrennt, daß ein "neues" Bahnende 5 und ein "neuer" Bahnanfang 15 entstehen. Die Bahn 1 bzw. Teilbahnen 16 bis 19 wird zusammen mit seinem "neuen" Ende 5 z. B. von Zugwalzen, Druckwerken usw. entlang des bisherigen Laufpfades z. B. gezogen. Der "neue" Bahnanfang 15 der Bahn 1 bzw. der Teilbahnen 16 bis 19 und diese selbst werden von der/den Einrichtungen zum Umlenken 13; 44 festgehalten und entlang den neuausgewählten Laufpfaden, z. B. C bewegt und schließlich an ein Weiterleitsystem z. B. 9 abgegeben und an einen vorgesehenen Zielort, z. B. ein Zugwalzenpaar, Druckspalt einer Druckeinheit transportiert und von ihnen übernommen.

- Verfahren zum Führen einer in Produktionsrichtung bewegbaren Papierbahn (1, 16, 17, 18, 19), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Längsreißfestigkeit einer oder mehrerer ausgewählter Papierbahnen (1, 16, 17, 18, 19) entlang jeweils einer in Lage und Form vorherbestimmbaren Reißlinie vermindert wird, daß anschließend auf die in ihrer Längs-Reißfestigkeit geschwächte Bahn/Bahnen (1, 16, 17, 18, 19) durch Krafteinleitung auf ihre obere oder untere Seite aus ihrem ursprünglichen Laufpfad (A) in einen neuen Laufpfad (B; C) geleitet wird, daß durch diese Richtungsänderung diese Papierbahn (1, 16, 17, 18, 19) an der Soll-Reißlinie (68) in ein neues Ende (5) und einen neuen Anfang (15) quergetrennt wird, daß anschließend der neue Anfang (15) entlang des neuen Laufpfades (B; C) und das neue Ende (5) entlang des ursprünglichen Laufpfades (A) weiterbewegt wird.
- Verfahren zum Führen einer Papierbahn, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die in einer ersten Laufrichtung (A) laufende Papierbahn (1) in einem Winkel (Alpha) zur Laufrichtung (A) in ihrer Längsreißfestigkeit geschwächt wird, daß nachfolgend die so geschwächte Papierbahn (1) in eine zweite Laufrichtung (B oder C) umgelenkt und weitergeleitet wird, daß durch diese Richtungsänderung die Papierbahn (1) an der Soll-Reißlinie (68) quergetrennt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Reißlinie der Längs-Reißfestigkeitsschwächung in einem Winkel (± Alpha) im Bereich von 30° bis 60° zur Bahn verläuft.
