Abstract

Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Zertrennen mindestens eines endlosen bewegten Stranges der tabakverarbeitenden Industrie in stabförmige Einzelartikel mittels eines umlaufenden Messers, bei dem der Strang von einer Strangführung gestützt wird, die von einem Kurbeltrieb in eine hin- und hergehende Bewegung versetzt wird -. Hierbei ist eine Kurbelstange einerseits auf einem exzentrisch zu der Antriebswelle der Kurbel angeordneten Kurbelzapfen gelagert, andererseits mit einer die Strangführung tragenden Stütze verbunden -. Die Kurbel oder deren Antrieb weist eine erste umlaufende Ausgleichsmasse auf.
Der Zweck des beschriebenen Verfahrens und der Vorrichtung besteht darin, den Massenausgleich des Kurbeltriebes und der Strangführung zu verbessern.
Die Lösung besteht darin, daß synchron zu der ersten Ausgleichsmasse eine zweite Ausgleichsmasse von einer im Abstand von dem Kurbeltrieb angeordneten Welle zu einer Umlaufbewegung angetrieben wird.
Der Vorteil des beschriebenen Verfahrens und der Vorrichtung besteht darin, daß die durch Schwingungen infolge Unwuchten hervorgerufenen Kräfte und Momente, die auf die Strangmaschine und deren Umfeld (Fußboden) in unerwünschter Weise einwirken, stark reduziert werden können.
