Definitions
- Cataphoretic dip painting systems for example for coating of car bodies, exhibit an elongated Plunge pool with the one containing the color pigments Bath liquid is filled and through which the paint to be painted Objects, for example car bodies, passed through become.
- Bath liquid is filled and through which the paint to be painted Objects, for example car bodies, passed through become.
- On the side walls and on the bottom wall of the Plunge pools are anode cells, over which the Power supply in the immersion bath liquid for the cataphoresis he follows; the parts to be painted are connected as cathodes.
- the pool must be drained for maintenance or To be able to carry out repair work on components, which is covered by the bath liquid when the pool is full are and are not accessible from the outside. That is in particular the anode cells arranged on the pelvic floor, which are inside of the pelvis above the pelvic floor and on the side walls of the pelvis running anolyte inlets and outlets to or of the anode cells arranged on the bottom as well as the electrical ones Leads to the anode cells arranged on the bottom, and the circulation of the bath liquid arranged on the pool floor serving flood pipes and their feed lines.
- impurities consist less of foreign bodies and dirt particles, that got into the pool rather than mainly from coagulated collections of paint that are everywhere there form where in the constantly intensively circulated bath liquid dead zones are present, for example in the thin one Space between the anode cells arranged on the bottom and the pool floor, in the flow shadow behind those on the floor arranged anode cells, in the storage area in front of the flood pipes, and in the flow shadow of those hung on the side walls of the pool Anode cells and in the flow shadow of the at the Pelvic side walls and anolyte lines running on the pelvic floor and electrical cables.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a possibility create the accumulated when draining the plunge pool Reduce costs significantly.
- the invention thus relates to the formation of a cataphoretic Dip painting system with a bathing pool, the inner wall exposed to the bath liquid on the side walls and floor smooth everywhere and preferably rounded in the corners is.
- This is accomplished by using anode cells used in a flat design with a rectangular cross-section be in appropriate pockets in the pool walls are installed so that their facing the bath liquid Membrane surface flush with the other areas of the pool wall runs and thus the entire pool wall as continuous represents smooth surface.
- the flood pipes are also in the pool walls or the pool floor embedded, whereby only the outlet nozzles, which are the recirculated bath liquid Introduce diagonally into the pool as a light streamlined Rounding out slightly from the area in question.
- the wall corners, which the side walls with the Pelvic floor and the longitudinal side walls and the end walls of the Pelvis form with each other are rounded by such Transitions formed in the constantly circulating bath liquid no dead zones there either, so no standing zones Form areas of the bath liquid.
- each anode cell 2 is formed in the longitudinal side walls 12 and in the bottom wall 11 a plurality of pocket-shaped open to the inside of the pool Recesses 16 each with a rectangular cross section.
- the anode cells 2 are in Flat design with a rectangular cross section, the the rectangular cross section of the pocket-shaped recesses 16 corresponds, and each have a plate anode 21.
- the membrane surface 22 of each anode cell usually in the range of a circulated through supply and discharge lines, not shown Anolyte flows through, so they are flush with the other areas facing the bath liquid Inner wall surfaces of the pool side walls 12 or the pool floor 11.
- Anolyte lines and electrical cables to those on the pool floor arranged anode cells can if necessary Side walls in recessed and flush with the rest Covered cable ducts run along the wall (not shown)
- the dip painting system according to the invention can still be optimized that the bath basin 1 made of plastic, in particular made of GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) instead of the previously common steel is produced.
- GRP glass fiber reinforced plastic
- this has the advantage that at certain intervals Protective coating to be renewed on the steel inner wall of the pool with the necessary downtime of the system can be avoided. Because while in use of steel as the material for the bathroom basin the protective coating to avoid the cataphoresis and the acidity the corrosion of the bath fluid is increased is necessary, such a necessity does not apply to the Use of plastic as a pool material.
