Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kunststoffpalette, die im wesentlichen aus einem eine Ladefläche aufweisenden Palettendeck und aus Kufen besteht, die derart angeordnet sind, daß sie Einfahrkanäle für die Zinken des Hubgerüstes eines Gabelstaplers bilden.
Bei der in Frage kommenden Kunststoffpalette handelt es sich um eine Mehrwegpalette, die über einen verhältnismäßig langen Zeitraum benutzt wird. Daraus ergibt sich, daß leere bzw. unbeladene Paletten zwecks der weiteren Benutzung transportiert werden müssen. Dazu werden sie gestapelt. Da Kunststoffpaletten eine sehr glatte Oberfläche haben, bzw. die Oberflächengüte sehr hoch ist, ist es notwendig, daß ein Stapel mit Bändern umreift wird, da ansonsten die im Stapel sich befindenden Paletten verrutschen würden.
Eine Kunststoffpalette der oben genannten Art ist aus der US 5 440 998 A und der EP 0 725 010 A bekannt.
Das Umreifen eines Stapels ist zeitaufwendig und somit auch kostenverursachend. Außerdem müssen die Bänder nach dem Entstapeln in geeigneter Form entsorgt werden.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Kunststoffpalette der eingangs näher beschriebenen Art in einfachster Weise so zu gestalten, daß bei Verzicht auf eine Umreifung eines Stapels sichergestellt ist, daß die Paletten innerhalb des Stapels beim Transport nicht verrutschen.
Die gestellte Aufgabe wird gelöst, indem an wenigstens zwei vorbestimmten Stellen des Palettendecks und der Kufen gegenüber den oberen und unteren Flächen nicht vorstehende Profilierungen derart vorgesehen sind, daß, zur Stapelung unbeladener Kunststoffpaletten die Profilierungen formschlüssig, jedoch mit Spiel, ineinandergreifen, wobei die Tiefen der ineinandergreifenden Profilierungen, bezogen auf die Höhe einer Kunststoffpalette, relativ gering sind, und wobei die Profilierungen gegenseitig als Abdruck der jeweils anderen Palettenseite ausgebildet sind.
Nunmehr werden jeweils zwei im Stapel übereinander liegende Paletten sinngemäß miteinander verrastet. Durch diese spezielle Ausgestaltung kann auch auf die bislang häufig verwendeten Gummistopfen verzichtet werden, die äußerst störend wirken, da sie vorstehen. Durch die ineinandergreifenden Profilierungen wird eine Arretierung der Paletten geschaffen, ohne daß irgendwelche zusätzlichen Maßnahmen oder Arbeitsgänge notwendig sind. Die Profilierungen sollten zweckmäßigerweise so gestaltet sein, daß ein gewisses Spiel zwischen den einzelnen Profilierungen verbleibt, da dadurch das Stapeln wesentlich erleichtert wird.
Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist vorgesehen, daß die von der Ladefläche ausgehenden Profilierungen des Palettendecks als Vertiefungen ausgebildet und daß die von den Kufen ausgehenden Profilierungen als Rippen ausgebildet sind. Die Geometrie der Palettenunterseite ist derart gestaltet, daß die Profilierungen in der Palettenoberseite sinngemäß wie ein Abdruck eingelassen sind. Die Größe der Profilierungen sollte jedoch nur so groß sein, daß die Palettenoberseite trotzdem eine ausreichende Aufstandfläche für die Beladung bietet. Damit beim Stapeln der Paletten keine äußerst genaue Ausrichtung notwendig ist, ist vorgesehen, daß die Breiten und Längen der Rippen geringer sind als die der Vertiefungen. Dadurch ist zwar eine gewisse Verschiebung der einzelnen Paletten möglich, eine Gefahr des Sturzes eines Stapels ist jedoch vermieden. Die Tiefen der Vertiefungen und die Höhe der Rippen sollte übereinstimmen bzw. im wesentlichen übereinstimmen. Die Breiten der Vertiefungen sollten beispielsweise 4 bis 6 mm größer sein als die Breiten der Rippen. Die Tiefe der Vertiefungen bzw. die Höhe der Rippen sollte zwischen 5 und 10 mm liegen. Es ist ausreichend, wenn die Profilierungen an zwei einander gegenüber liegenden Randbereichen angeordnet sind. Dabei ist es zweckmäßig, wenn die Profilierungen im mittleren Bereich Vierecke bilden.
Anhand der beiliegenden Zeichnung wird die Erfindung noch näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

Aus Gründen der vereinfachten Darstellung ist in der Figur 1 von zwei übereinander angeordneten Kunststoffpaletten 10 und 11 nur jeweils ein Randbereich dargestellt. Die Figur zeigt, daß die Kunststoffpaletten 10, 11 von den Ladeflächen 12, 13 ausgehende Vertiefungen 14 aufweisen. Außerdem zeigt die Figur 1, daß die Kufen 15, 16 an der Unterseite Rippen 17 aufweisen, die in die Vertiefungen 14 im gestapelten Zustand eingreifen. Die aus den Vertiefungen 14 und den Rippen 17 gebildeten Profilierungen können jedoch auch andersartig gestaltet sein. Ferner ergibt sich aus der Figur, daß die Breiten der Rippen 17 deutlich geringer sind als die Breiten der Vertiefungen 14. Auch die Längen der Stege 17 sind ein klein wenig geringer als die Längen der Vertiefungen 14. Dadurch entfällt beim Stapeln der Kunststoffpaletten 10, 11 ein äußerst genaues Aufrichten. Ferner zeigt die Figur noch, daß es keine gegenüber den Ladeflächen 12, 13 vorstehenden Teile gibt. Die zuvor beschriebene Ausbildung einer Kunststoffpalette 10, 11 ist bevorzugt für sogenannte Halbpaletten mit einer Größe von 80 × 60 cm.
Die Erfindung ist nicht auf das dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel beschränkt. Wesentlich sind die an der Ladefläche 12 bzw. 13 und an den Unterseiten der Kufen 15, 16 vorgesehenen Profilierungen, die bei gestapelten Paletten ineinandergreifen.

Claims (6)

  1. Kunststoffpalette, die im wesentlichen aus einem eine Ladefläche aufweisenden Palettendeck und aus Kufen besteht, die derart angeordnet sind, dass sie Einfahrkanäle für die Zinken des Hubgerüstes eines Gabelstaplers bilden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an wenigstens zwei vorbestimmten Stellen des Palettendecks und der Kufen (15, 16) gegenüber den oberen und unteren Flächen nicht vorstehende Profilierungen (14, 17) derart vorgesehen sind, dass zur Stapelung unbeladener Kunststoffpaletten (10, 11) die Profilierungen formschlüssig, jedoch mit Spiel ineinandergreifen, wobei die Tiefen der ineinandergreifenden Profilierungen, bezogen auf die Höhe einer Kunststoffpalette (10), relativ gering sind, und wobei die Profilierungen gegenseitig als Abdruck der jeweils anderen Palettenseite ausgebildet sind.
  2. Kunststoffpalette nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die von der Ladefläche (12, 13) ausgehenden Profilierungen des Palettendecks als Vertiefungen (14) ausgebildet und die von den Unterseiten der Kufen (15, 16) ausgehenden Profilierungen als Rippen (17) ausgebildet sind.
  3. Kunststoffpalette nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Breiten und Längen der Rippen (17) geringer als die der Vertiefungen (14) sind.
  4. Kunststoffpalette nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 2 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Tiefen der Vertiefungen (14) und der Rippen (17) übereinstimmen.
  5. Kunststoffpalette nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Profilierungen (14, 17) an zwei einander gegenüber liegenden Randbereichen angeordnet sind.
  6. Kunststoffpalette nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kunststoffpalette eine Halbpalette ist.
