Definitions

  • the invention relates to a disassembly device Disassembly of a fuel injector, in particular a high pressure direct injection valve, from a mounting hole of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine.
  • a fuel injector in particular a high pressure direct injection valve
  • the high pressure direct injection valve becomes fuel immediately injected into the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine.
  • the invention relates to a disassembly device the genus of the main claim. It is already out of the DE 197 05 990 A1 known for dismantling a direct injecting fuel injector a disassembly device with a fuel injector at least partially comprehensive sheath body to use.
  • the coat body is in the mounting hole of the cylinder head together with the fuel injector already at To introduce assembly.
  • a first collar section is provided, which with a first collar portion receiving portion of the Fuel injector is non-positively connectable.
  • On a second end of the Sheath body is a second collar section, the provides a target for a tool.
  • Disassembly device is disadvantageous that the connection of the Disassembly device with the fuel injector still is not optimized and the force transmission by the at the Dismantling tool still attacking can be improved.
  • Another disadvantage is that the Disassembly device before assembly on the fuel injector must be attached and a retrofitting, for example, only in the maintenance or Exchange case is not possible.
  • From US 4,561,159 is a disassembly device for a Diesel injector known. One opposite the spray opening End area of the fuel injector is into a slot in the dismantling device on the side insertable. The disassembly device is not in the Receiving hole of the cylinder head inserted and remains not in the mounting hole when assembled. From the disassembly device resulting from US 4,561,159 rather a tool extension, before disassembly of the fuel injector to the fuel injector is attached. However, here is the connection of the Disassembly device with the fuel injector relatively cumbersome.
  • the disassembly device according to the invention with the characteristic Features of claim 1 has the advantage that the Disassembly device with relatively little effort on the Fuel injector is mountable, reducing handling is much easier.
  • Claim 1 With the solution after Claim 1 is the fuel injector due to crescent-shaped tapered design of the bearing surface little effort laterally into the attack section insertable.
  • the disassembly device can be advantageous in terms of production technology to be composed of several partial bodies.
  • the partial body advantageously on the tubular Section have fasteners that are in recesses of the neighboring part of the body.
  • the disassembly device can, for example, by rolling be made from sheet steel. However, it is also possible the disassembly device from a with glass fibers reinforced plastic, for example with a plastic injection molding process to manufacture.
  • FIG. 1A, 1B and 1C show a first embodiment the disassembly device according to the invention.
  • the invention Disassembly device serves as an auxiliary tool in the Disassembly of a fuel injector from a Location bore of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine during maintenance work or when replacing the Fuel injector.
  • the dismantling device generally designated by the reference number 1 has a jacket body 2, which is in an attack section 3 and a tubular section 4 divided.
  • the attack section 3 is shown in the Embodiment in the form of a half-tube, as better from Fig. 1C, which is a top view of the one shown in Fig. 1A shows the dismantling device 1 is.
  • One of the tubular section 4 completely enclosed, the tubular section 4 completely penetrating axial recess 5 opens in the area of the attack section 3 to the front in FIG. 1A and in FIG. 1B, which is a side view of that shown in FIG. 1A Embodiment shows, to the side.
  • This is the inlet section of a fuel injector in the disassembly device 1 can be used so that one on the the tubular section 4 opposite end 6 of Attack section 3 integrally formed, projecting radially inwards Contact surface 7 at a suitable point on the fuel injector can attack.
  • the contact surface 7 is crescent-shaped, d. H. the bearing surface 7 tapers in radial width in the direction of the free ends 8 and 9 of the Attack section 3.
  • the bearing surface 7 is achieved that the dismantling device 1 on the fuel injector mounted on the cylinder head without difficulty and without major Force can be mounted. It results from the narrow foothills of the support surface 7 to the free Ends 8 and 9 of the attack section 3 towards an improved Management of the dismantling device 1 and a smaller one Force when attaching to the fuel injector.
  • FIGS. 1A and 1B are on the tubular Section 4 in the embodiment two holes 10 and 11 are provided, which are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 12 of the disassembly device 1.
  • the holes 10 and 11 serve as engagement elements for a on the disassembly device 1 attacking tool.
  • the tool can For example, be designed like pliers, with a first tong wing in the first bore 10 and a second Plier wing is inserted into the second bore 11, so that the disassembly device 1 by the pliers-like tool can be easily taken. It is also conceivable a crossbar through the two holes 10 and 11th pass through, on which a suitable tool in the Disassembly attacks or which is taken by hand.
  • the holes 10 and 11 can of course also other attack elements are provided for suitable tools be, for example, one that projects inwards or outwards Collar at the end opposite the engagement element 3 of the tubular section 4.
  • FIG. 2 shows the sectioned cylinder head 20 of an internal combustion engine.
  • a fuel injection valve is in a receiving bore 21 22 used, that for direct injection of fuel in a combustion chamber 30 the Internal combustion engine is used.
  • 1A, 1B and 1C described elements of the disassembly device 1 are provided with the same reference numerals, so that there is no need for a repetitive description.
  • the fuel injection valve 22 has a spray section 23, an intermediate section 24 and an inlet section 25.
  • the inlet section 25 of the fuel injector 22 has a fuel inlet port 26 which is not one fuel distribution line shown is connectable and is sealed by means of a sealing ring 27.
  • an electrical connection cable for electrical actuation of the fuel injector 22 is an electrical connection cable, not shown, that can be connected to a connector 28.
  • the Plug connection 28 can, for example, on the fuel injector 22 be molded.
  • Between the Connector 28 and the intermediate portion 24 is one annular circumferential groove 29 formed on which the Support surface 7 of the dismantling device 1 can attack. Therefore, the dismantling device 1 in this groove 29 of the fuel injector 22 laterally inserted.
  • the bearing surface 7 according to the invention crescent-shaped, d. H. towards the free ends 8, 9 rejuvenating, trained. This makes insertion easier the disassembly device 1, the support surface 7 a relatively large opening between the free ends 8 and 9 releases, which narrows increasingly.
  • the invention Training of the support surface 7 therefore has a self-adjusting effect. After putting on or sliding on the disassembly device 1 on the fuel injector 22 can the disassembly device as described the holes 10 and 11 by a crossbar or by a pliers-like tool can be gripped so that the fuel injector 22 from the receiving bore 21 of the Cylinder head 20 for maintenance or replacement purposes can be pulled out. Thereby gives the tubular Section 4 of the disassembly device 1 increased stability and firmness.
