Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mounting device for mounting and disassembly of a fuel injector, in particular a high-pressure direct injection valve, in or out of Location bore of a cylinder head Internal combustion engine. Through the high pressure direct injection valve will fuel directly into the combustion chamber injected into the internal combustion engine.
  • the invention relates to a mounting device according to the Genus of the main claim. It is already from DE 197 05 990 A1 a mounting device with a that Fuel injector at least partially surrounding Sheath body known, being at a first end of the Jacket body an inwardly facing collar section and at a second end of the Sheath body an outwardly facing collar section are trained. While the radially inward Collar section in a groove of the fuel injector can be used, the outward protrudes Collar section from the receiving opening of the Fuel injector out. On that from the Protruding bore of the cylinder head Collar section can be a suitable tool, for example attack a tire iron to the mounting device together with the fuel injection valve from the Lever out the mounting hole.
  • From US-PS 4,561,159 is a disassembly device for a diesel injector known.
  • One of the spray opening opposite end area of the fuel injector is laterally in a slot of the disassembly device insertable.
  • the disassembly device is not in the Receiving hole of the cylinder head inserted and remains not in the mounting hole when assembled.
  • From the US-PS 4,561,159 resulting disassembly rather a tool extension, before disassembly of the fuel injector to the fuel injector is attached.
  • the transfer of a Hold-down force on the fuel injector via the Disassembly device is not provided.
  • the connection the disassembly device with the fuel injector is relatively cumbersome.
  • the mounting device according to the invention with the has characteristic features of the main claim on the other hand the advantage that by at least one engaging a thread of the collar portion Dismantling screw a simple and damage-free Disassembly of the assembly device together with that in the Mounting device used fuel injector is made possible. Disassembly is done in such a way that by tightening the at least one disassembly screw or of preferably several disassembly screws Mounting device with the fuel injector is continuously pulled out of the mounting hole.
  • the collar section Openings preferably provided in the form of bores, through which engaging in a thread of the cylinder head Reach through the mounting screws.
  • this Mounting screws By tightening this Mounting screws is on the mounting device and thus sufficient fuel injector Hold-down force transmitted to the Fuel injector when operating the Internal combustion engine against that prevailing in the combustion chamber Hold down combustion pressure.
  • the Threads and the openings in the collar section like this dimensioned that the mounting screws simultaneously as Disassembly screws can be used.
  • the Thread in the cylinder head and the collar section of the Mounting device the same diameter and the same Have a slope and the openings must be dimensioned in this way be that the corresponding screw diameter through to fit them through.
  • At least three openings for the Mounting screws provided that are at an angular distance of have more than 90 °. This ensures that the Hold-down force on the mounting device and thus on the Fuel injector attacks evenly around the circumference.
  • the one engaging the fuel injector Attack section of the mounting device radially after internal overhang and an axially over the radial projection extending axial extension on.
  • the axial extension serves to transmit the Hold down force on the fuel injector while the radial projection in a groove of the Fuel injector engages to the Fuel injector to transfer the disassembly force.
  • the functions of holding down and dismantling are on that engaging the fuel injector Attack section of the mounting device separately. This has the advantage that the area of the disassembly groove Fuel injection valve through plastic injection molding can be realized and only the area of the fuel injector, on which the axial extension engages, must consist of metal. This leads to a simple and inexpensive manufacture of the valve housing Fuel injector.
  • the mounting device can be inexpensive by deep drawing be made from a metal sheet.
  • Fig. 1 shows a section through a cylinder head 2 one Internal combustion engine and by an embodiment of a Mounting device 1 according to the invention and a not shown in section, in the invention Mounting device 1 used fuel injector Third
  • the fuel injector 3 is used for direct Injecting fuel into a combustion chamber 4 Internal combustion engine.
  • the cylinder head 2 has one Location hole 5 for receiving the fuel injector 3, which are shown in the Embodiment in a narrowed section 6 Recording a spray section 7 of the fuel injector 3, an expanded section 8 for Inclusion of a disassembly section 9, a fuel feed section 10 and a housing body 27 and the Mounting device 1 according to the invention, and a expanded section 8 with narrowed section 6 connecting conical section 11 is divided.
  • the mounting device 1 has one Fuel injector 3 at least partially surrounding Sheath body 12, on which a from the receiving bore 5th out directed collar portion 13 is formed, the extends radially outward from the jacket body 12. To the the collar section 13 opposite end is at the Sheath body 12 formed an attack section 14 which the mounting device 1 on the fuel injector 3 attacks.
  • the attack section 14 has a radially inward directed radial projection 15 and an axially over the radial projection 15 extending axially Extension 16 on.
  • the radial projection 15 engages in one Disassembly groove 17 of the fuel injector 3 in order a disassembly force to the fuel injector 3 transfer.
  • the openings 19 are in the exemplary embodiment as threadless holes formed by which mounting screws 21st reach through, the threaded holes 22 of the Cylinder head 2 can be screwed in.
  • the openings 19 can for example, however, also as elongated holes, slots, after externally open recesses or the like can be formed.
  • the threads 20 are preferably in threaded bores formed, the thread 20 directly into the Collar section 13 is cut. However, it is also conceivable threaded bushes or nuts on the collar section 13 to install the mounting device 1.
  • the fuel injector 3 When assembling the fuel injector 3, the fuel injector 3 is first inserted into the assembly device 1 such that the radial projection 15 engages in the dismantling groove 17 of the fuel injector 3. Then the mounting device 1 together with the fuel injection valve 3 is inserted into the receiving bore 5 of the cylinder head 2. Finally, the mounting screws 21 are passed through the openings 19 of the collar section 13 and screwed into the thread 22 of the cylinder head 2.
  • the screw heads 23 of the mounting screws 21 come to rest on the collar section 13 and exert a hold-down force F N illustrated by the arrow 24 on the mounting device 1, which is transmitted via the axial extension 16 to the hold-down surface 18 of the fuel injection valve 3 , During the operation of the internal combustion engine, the fuel injection valve 3 is therefore held down in the receiving bore 5 against the combustion pressure prevailing in the combustion chamber 4.
  • the assembly screws 21 are first loosened and removed from the thread 22 of the cylinder head 2. Then disassembly screws 25, which are supported on the cylinder head 2, are inserted into the threads 20 of the collar section 13. By tightening the dismantling screws 25, a dismantling force F D , illustrated by the arrow 26, is exerted on the assembly device 1 and is transmitted via the radial projection 15 to the dismantling groove 17 of the fuel injection valve 3. As a result, the assembly device 1 together with the fuel injection valve 3 is pulled out of the receiving bore 5 of the cylinder head 2 without the need for an assembly iron or other lever tools.
  • both a radial projection 15 and an axial extension 16 are formed on the engagement portion 14 of the mounting device 1, the functions of holding down and disassembly are separated.
  • the housing body 27 of the fuel injector 3, on which the hold-down surface 18 is formed preferably consists of metal, in particular steel, in order to be able to transmit a high hold-down force to the fuel injector 3,
  • the dismantling section 9 of the fuel injector, on which the dismantling groove 17 is formed are manufactured as a plastic injection-molded part, since the dismantling force F D is considerably smaller than the hold-down force F N. This enables cost-effective production of the fuel injection valve 3.
  • Fig. 2 shows one compared to that shown in Fig. 1 Embodiment slightly modified embodiment a mounting device 1 according to the invention in a Top view.
  • the modification compared to that shown in Fig. 1 Embodiment is that two in Threaded bores formed thread 20 on the Collar section 13 diametrically opposite in the Section plane III-III are formed, while in the Fig. 1 illustrated embodiment for better Illustration of the invention in the section plane III-III a thread 20 and a threadless opening 19 are arranged are.
  • the radial surrounds Overlap 15 in that shown in Fig. 2 Embodiment that not shown in Fig. 2
  • Fig. 3 shows a section along the line III-III in Fig. 2.
  • the representation largely corresponds to the representation of the Mounting device 1 in Fig. 1 with the difference that how explained, two threads 20 in the section plane III-III instead of a thread 20 and a threadless opening 19 are arranged.
  • the assembly device 1 according to the invention can be inexpensive be manufactured as a deep-drawn sheet metal part.
  • To disassemble the Mounting device 1 and the fuel injector 3 are therefore first loosened the mounting screws 21 and removed and then inserted into the thread 20 and dressed.
  • the fuel injector 3 high symmetrical and axial aligned disassembly forces are transferred to the one consisting of a light metal, for example Cylinder head 2 damage can be avoided.
  • the invention is not shown on the Embodiments limited.
  • the radial projection 15 also by notches on the Sheath body 12 can be realized, which are bent so that they protrude radially inwards.
