Definitions

  • the invention relates to a push rod lock, in particular for locking a cabinet door on a control cabinet, with a handle to which an actuator is coupled via an actuating mechanism, the handle being adjustable about a pivot axis in a pivoting plane running vertically to the level of the cabinet door, and wherein the actuator is displaceable parallel to the plane of the cabinet door due to the adjustment of the handle.
  • a push rod lock used to lock emergency exit doors is known from DE 77 23 134.
  • a handle is pivotally mounted in a housing about a horizontal axis. On the front of the housing, the handle carries a handle facing a user.
  • a lever is formed on the handle and turned away from the handle.
  • An actuator is coupled to the lever and is linearly displaceable in the housing. The actuator is provided with teeth that mesh with a gear.
  • a second actuator is also provided with a toothing, which is also in engagement with the gear.
  • the lever As a result of an actuation of the handle, the lever is deflected and the first actuator is moved with it. The gearwheel is also rotated, whereby the second actuator adjusts in the opposite direction to the first.
  • the lever In order to achieve the required closing forces with such a push rod lock, the lever must have an appropriate dimensioning. This results in a size for the push rod lock, which is perceived as a nuisance especially when used on a control cabinet. It is an object of the invention to provide a push rod lock of the type mentioned at the outset, with which a small size can be achieved, but at the same time large closing forces can also be generated.
  • This object of the invention is achieved in that a lever is articulated at a distance from the pivot axis on a joint of the handle, via which the force introduced into the handle can be implemented on the actuator and which changes its angular position with respect to this when the handle is adjusted.
  • an effective force transmission can be effected via the lever mechanism according to the invention, so that high closing forces can be generated.
  • the lever can be designed as a toggle lever, which increases the force as it swivels in. This makes it possible to overcome the sealing pressure counteracting when the cabinet door is closed.
  • the movable lever In the pivoted-in state of the handle, the movable lever can align itself in its position in such a way that it only slightly influences the size of the push rod lock.

As soon as the bolt 10.7 releases the handle 20, the bolt moves in the elongated hole 10.12 due to the spring preload exerted by 30 of the return spring 10.13. Abstract
