Definitions
- the invention relates to a spine for holding together Stack of sheets according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a binding spine is made of plastic known in which the only two fingers with complementary to each other Elements are provided to ensure a secure hold of the Ensure leaves with fingers closed.
- This bandage is intended for use in folders. The back is fastened in a lid.
- EP-A-0 704 322 is a conventional binding spine made of plastic known with a variety of fingers, the injection molding process can be produced. These bindings require use a binding machine with which the loops are widened, to be able to load the paper. By the spring force of the individual loops essentially close the loops and then hold the paper.
- binding has the disadvantage that a binding machine must be used for the first time or to use repeatedly. Furthermore, such a binding spine especially the disadvantage of having a correspondingly stack of sheets bound to him not completely by 360 ° is scrollable, since the back part essentially turns such a page prevented.
- the invention lies Task based on a spine of the type mentioned specify that can be used without a lid and to Use of sheets does not require a binding machine.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a spine without specifying a lid, with the inserted sheets by almost 360 ° can be scrolled.
- the back part is made of essentially rectangular elements over a thin one Connection tape to be kept in connection with each other.
- the finger elements are preferably semicircles, at the ends of the push button connection is arranged.
- the binding finger consists of two binding finger elements 1 and 11, which over a hinge 2 are connected to each other.
- the hinge 2 includes two extending in the longitudinal direction of the spine Rectangles 3 and 4, which are as thin as possible Connection 5 in one piece over the entire length of the truss are interconnected. Rectangles 3 and 4 form together with their connection 5 the back part, on the back the individual surfaces 6 facing away from the bottom surface 21 Finger pairs 1 and 11 are applied. Due to the hinge effect of the thin connecting part 5 are the finger elements 1 and 11 collapsible so that the front end faces 12 and 22 of the same come into contact with each other and themselves the closed circle of a finger shown in FIG. 4 forms.
- Push button 7 On one end surface 12 of one finger element 1 is a Push button 7 provided, which has a round shaft 8 and over has a thickened head 9.
- the round shaft 8 can of course also be square or different and the round Button 9, which is essentially the shape of an opposite Has flattened cylinder sides, can be changed provided the relevant outer diameter of the head 9 is greater than the shaft thickness 8. At the same time, the diameter of the head 9 is less than the width of the finger element 1 and 11 respectively.
- a finger is shown on which during its manufacture in injection molding, the injection molding head 15 with its opening 16 on a flattened section 17 of the finger element 1 ends.
- the inner surface is one Recess referred to that in the otherwise full material the finger elements 1 and 11 is provided and each one Groove forms.
- the binding spine can also be extruded.
- the binding spine can also be made of metal, e.g. made of sheet metal, in particular punched. Then of course it does not have the flattened section 17 and the inner recess 18 can also be omitted or by bent or die-cut side parts of the spine formed his.
- the side faces the finger elements 1, 1 'or 11 each have a small, e.g. 2 ° large angle 19, which slightly tapers the fingers, so that the inserted sheets lighter around the middle part of the Finger elements are rotatable.
- FIG. 3 shows along the same line as FIG. 2, however in the opposite direction, a cut through a finger along line III-III.
- the push button 7 in side view with its head part 9 does not protrude beyond the shaft 8. At the same time it is too see that the width of the push button corresponds to the width the recess 18 is selected.
- Fig. 4 shows a binding finger according to Fig. 1 in the closed Position. It can be clearly seen that the thin hinge element 5 the dimensions of the spine only minimal Way enlarged. At the same time it can be seen that a Choice of very thin cuboids 3 and 4 the back part in total can be made very thin, so that in the finger elements 1 and 11 inserted sheets almost 360 ° around the longitudinal axis 19 of the spine can be rotated.
- Fig. 5 now shows a series of arranged side by side Tie fingers 1, 1 'in a plan view with the fully unfolded Hinge. It is easy to see that on the finger element 1 the injection point for the plastic material of the Binding back is provided.
- FIG. 6 finally shows a bottom view of the truss 5, being due to the smallness of the elements of Push button 7 and the opposite recess 10 do not differ can be displayed. Because the thin hinge 5 plan between rectangles 3 and 4 is in the Bottom view only recognizes the overall flat surface 21.
- the Fig. 6 shows the spine in the shape in which it is Lies down when inserting sheets for the first time. The User inserts sheets into fingers 1 or 11 and closes then successively fingers 1 and 11 to close fingers 4 to arrive.
- the binding spine consists of a plastic and is injection molded.
- the amount of exaggerated here drawn rectangles 3 and 4 is, for example, 0.5 mm, so that the back part has a total height of 1 mm.
- the back part elements 3 and 4 differently as a rectangular shape.
- the Finger elements 1 and 11 e.g. a rectangular shape or a square to choose, even if this is for turning the inserted Side is a disadvantage.
- the shape of the finger elements should also be chosen so that one closed finger element a semicircle with a tendon base which then e.g. would be writable The fingers pointed then a D in cross section.
- the push button connection can be opened several times and to close.
- the push buttons are in the presented Embodiment provided in each of the associated pairs of fingers. This is not absolutely necessary because e.g. at a Close the closed hinge of every second pair of fingers 5 with the adjacent back part elements 3 and 4 ensures that the finger elements in between Hold together securely without a push-button connection. this means especially that even in the event of an accidental breakout or the wear of single snaps still one secure binding of the inserted sheets is guaranteed.
- the push buttons could 7, 8, 9 can also be designed without the thickened head 9. If each push button has only one shaft 8, so can be a durable connection instead of a positive connection in the frictional connection can also be created in that the diameter of the Opening 10 may be chosen to be somewhat smaller than the shaft thickness becomes.
- Fig. 7 shows a side view of a finger of a spine according to a second embodiment.
- a detachable connection to form with hook elements.
- Each binding finger element has 1 or 11 via a hook 27 or 37, which are in positive engagement are complementary. They fit flush to each other, so that - in the mathematical sense - steady Transition from the binding finger element 1 to the binding finger element 11 results.
- the hooks 27, 37 take up the entire width of the binding finger elements on.
- one in the Area of the hooks 27, 37 web-groove combination can be provided, so that the hooks diverge sideways when they occur is avoided by shear forces.
- FIG. 8 shows a front view of a finger of a spine according to a third embodiment.
- the fasteners 30 and 40 from one end of the Tie finger element 1 protruding pin 30, for example can have small elevations 31 on both sides.
- this is the end of the binding finger element 11 with a Executed groove 40 into which the pin 30 can be inserted. there has this groove 40 running through the entire end about recesses not shown in the drawing, in the the cams or ridges 31 are adjustable.
- FIG. 9 shows a cross section through a finger fully opened bandage according to a fourth embodiment. Same features as that formed from these fingers Bindings have the same reference numerals compared to the other figures on.
- a Push button 7 On one end surface 12 of one finger element 1 is a Push button 7 provided, which is partially round and partially flattened shaft 38 and over a partially thickened Head 39 has.
- the decisive outer diameter of the Head 39 is at least partially larger than the shaft thickness 38.
- the push button 7 enters an opening 50 at the end 22 of the finger element 11 which is remote from the hinge, the recess 50 having an opening 43 which is complementary to the shaft 38 and here has a mouth widening and an enlarged recess 44 around which Record head part 39 of the push button 7.
- the inward-facing section 45 of the recess 44 is complementary to the flattened section of the push button 7.
- a finger is shown on which during its manufacture in injection molding the injection molding head on a flattened Section 17 of the finger element 1 ends.
- A4 paper size for example, thirty-four fingers provided, being on the sixth or seventh finger from the edge counted out and an injection molding inlet on a middle finger is provided.
- the reference numeral 18 is the inner Surface of a recess referred to in the otherwise full material of the finger elements 1 and 11 is provided and which each form a groove.
- the hinge 5 is at its Surface 21 opposite side rounded in an arc.
- FIG. 11 finally shows a bottom view of a finger of the truss according to Fig. 9.
- the circular Opening 50 can be seen which is a semicircular tapered Has section for the shaft area.
- the bottom view of the Button 7 shows the flattened and no foot sections 47 having inner section, which allows easy loosening of the binding spine made possible from the injection mold.
