Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pot-shaped cap according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such known drug or infusion container solve more and more of the previously exclusively used and made of glass infusion bottles.
  • Most of these infusion containers made of a soft plastic material still have a bottle shape, but are also increasingly being manufactured in bag form.
  • the medicine or infusion containers are provided on their container neck with the above-described known closure cap, which is made of a stronger or harder plastic material and which encloses between itself and the container neck of the drug or infusion container, a seal through which the Cannula or the hollow mandrel of an infusion set is pushed, the hollow dome is held by this seal against slipping, when the infusion bottle is kept upside down.
  • closure cap which is made of a stronger or harder plastic material and which encloses between itself and the container neck of the drug or infusion container, a seal through which the Cannula or the hollow mandrel of an infusion set is pushed, the hollow dome is held by this seal against slipping, when the infusion bottle is kept upside down.
  • a cap which is placed on the closed container neck of a drug or infusion container made of soft plastic material.
  • This closure cap made of a harder plastic material engages with its cylindrically shaped shell part, the cylindrical outer wall of the container neck, wherein the cap is arranged with its lid portion at a distance from the top surface of the container neck, so that there is a cavity of certain volume between the two, for the arrangement a seal is provided.
  • the lid portion of the closure cap has at least one puncture opening, which is closed from the outside with a film.
  • the seal contained in the cavity between the closure cap on the one hand and the container neck or the lid surface of the container neck is made of a soft sealant, the seal protruding into the puncture opening and sealing compound with the closure cap, ie with the inner surfaces of the closure cap in the area
  • the cavity is completely welded.
  • this known above-described closure cap also has a further disadvantage.
  • this also penetrates completely into the puncture opening and thus completely fills it, ie no gaps and / or voids are created which can promote soiling.
  • the arrangement of the puncture-occlusive covers in the form of peelable films which may for example consist of polyethylene or polypropylene, but also of an aluminum foil or film material, problematic, they are not formed integrally with the cap.
  • the cap in its lid portion so that it is provided a tear-out lid part, wherein on this cover part a tab is integrally formed by means of which the tear-out part can be torn out of the cap, so that in the lid portion of the cap creates an opening.
  • a perforated disc is provided below this opening, which is fixedly connected to the underside of the lid portion of the closure cap by welding.
  • the perforated disc has several holes, which may have different diameters and through which the cannulas or hollow mandrels can be passed.
  • a sealing disc which rests on the upper side of the lid surface of the container closure and which assumes the sealing function during insertion of a cannula or a hollow mandrel through the holes of the perforated disc into the container.
  • the sealing washer is designed so that it fills the closure cap diameter moderately full and therefore relatively much material must be used.
  • a cap of the same type is described for a medicament container, in particular an infusion container, in which the two puncture areas are covered by means of a one-piece seal extending over both puncture areas, which is chambered at its edges.
  • this seal with its directed to the top of the container neck sealing surface can not come to the top of the container neck for sealing engagement, since the bottom of the seal is spaced from a web to the top of the container neck, said web is a part of the cap.
  • Between the underside of the seal on the one hand and the top of the medicament container on the other hand thus remains a gap, which, as already described in detail above, can be disadvantageous.
  • a seal which surrounds the puncture opening, it is provided only one puncture opening, and rests on the top or the outer lid surface of the container neck.
  • the seal described in this document is formed as an O-ring, so does not completely open the puncture seal covering. If this known cap is torn in its central region by means of an integrally formed operating means, the puncture opening opens continuously up to the top of the container neck out. The sealing ring shown in the figures of this document is only then sealingly effective to the outside, when the puncture of the infusion set is completely depressed.
  • the puncture mandrel has a much smaller diameter in its initial region and often also a shape caused by the sharpening, deviating from a circular cross-section, there is a risk that the puncture of the upper side of the Container neck of the drug container, the drug contained therein between the puncture mandrel of the infusion set on the one hand and the O-ring on the other hand passes through.
  • the invention has the object on the one hand to improve a cap of the type described above with respect to their sterile properties, ie in particular the sealing effect between the present in the cap seal on the one hand and the lid surface of the container neck on the other increase and on the other hand, the further task of such a closure cap in such a way that can be made relatively small compared to the known seals for the seal made of particularly elastic and therefore expensive material.
  • the cylinder portion in its axial inner wall on a circumferential groove, in which the circular cross-section having a disc-shaped seal with a formed on its axial outer wall peripheral projection.
  • the projection on at least one point on an interruption facilitates the example to be carried out by an assembly machine insertion of the seals in the chamberings in that air, which is located in the closed chamber portion of the cap, can escape through these interruptions, so does not form a cushion of compressed air between the seal on the one hand and the chamber on the other hand, which could cause the seal is pushed out of the chamber again after insertion.
  • the seal is thinner in thickness in its central region, for example by specifying depressions in at least one of its radial sealing surfaces.
  • the puncture opening provided on the outside of the chambering has a rupturable closure formed in one piece with the lid region of the closure cap.
  • a rupturable closure formed in one piece with the lid region of the closure cap.
  • the rupturable closure on a tear-open can also be formed in a manufacturing process, it can be grasped and pulled up with a finger, so that the underlying puncture opening, without touching it, is opened and the hollow dome of an infusion set can be inserted.
  • the tearing lever is mounted on a hinge on the outside of the chamber, so that the tearing is not lost after tearing the puncture opening, but can be disposed of together with the cap or the entire, emptied medication container.
  • the tearing lever on the one hand and the outside of the Kamm réelle on the other hand each have parts of a locking device which are complementary to each other and associated with each other so that they form the locking device with torn open tearing.
  • two puncture openings are provided in the lid region of the closure cap. These can be used independently, in particular opened, showing the advantage that their respective. Seals are completely independent of each other and thus do not interfere with each other when piercing the hollow dome.
  • the seal used in the chamberings can be made of rubber, on the other hand, but also made of a plastic, depending on the requirements placed on the properties of the seal.
  • the invention further relates to a medicament, in particular infusion container, with a closure cap according to one of claims 1 to 11, which is made of a plastic and in which also made of plastic and attached with its jacket portion on the container neck cap with the Container neck is welded. This formation of the connection of the container neck with the cap results in an absolutely tight and thus secure connection.
  • the top of the container neck is welded to the underside of the chamber.
  • the pressure exerted by this on the cover surface of the container neck pressure this too strong bends into the interior of the container inside.
  • the top surface of the lid surface of the container neck facing sealing surface of the seal also after piercing the same rests on the top of the lid surface of the container neck.
  • the top of the container neck is also welded to the sealing surface of the seals. This additional measure ensures a particularly good seal between these individual parts of the medicament container and the closure cap.
  • the closure cap 1 shown in the figures is substantially cup-shaped, ie, it has a lid portion 2 and a jacket portion 3, with which, as shown in Fig. 6, the closed-formed container neck 4 of a Drug container 5, for example, an infusion container comprises.
  • the closure cap 1 may have a specially trained jacket edge 6, not described here in detail, with which it is fastened, for example screwed or welded, on a circular flange 7 of the container neck 4 of the medicament container 5, for example.
  • the closure cap 1 is glued or welded to the inside 8 of its shell 3 with the outer surface of the container neck 4.
  • two puncture openings 9 and 9 'are formed which are frangible closures 10 and 10, respectively, which are shown in FIG. 1 and are produced in one piece with the closure cap 1 'are closed before use.
  • closures 10 and 10 ' are, also integrally formed, with Aufr predominantlyhebeln 11 and 11' is provided under which can be grasped with a finger, then with appropriate force, the closures 10 and 10 'from the lid portion 2 of the cap 1 tear out and thus the puncture openings 9 and 9 'free.
  • These tearing levers 11 and 11 'and the closures 10 and 10' are attached via hinges 12 and 12 'to the lid portion 2 so that they do not fall off the cap 1 after tearing and can be disposed of together with this.
  • a locking device which hold the tearing levers 11 and 11 'in the torn position, as shown in Fig. 8.
  • the locking device consists of a part 26 which is provided on the Aufr Employhebeln 11 and 11 ', and a second part 27 which is formed on the outside of the Kammerugen 13 or 13' and in the torn open position of the pull-11 and 11 'add to the locking device, such as in a hook-eye connection or, more similar, as in a lower and a top hook.
  • the lid region 2 of the closure cap 1 is formed in the region of the puncture openings 9 and 9 'in a special form, where it has namely each puncture opening a chamber 13 or 13', which protrude so far outwardly relative to the outer side 14 of the lid portion 2, that directed to the top 15 of the container neck 4 sealing surfaces 16 and 16 'of the chamberings 13 and 13' used seals 17 and 17 'only slightly above the inside 18 of the lid portion 2 protrude.
  • the chambers 13 and 13 ' hold the seals 17 and 17', which are made of a respect to the material of the chamberings 13 and 13 'and the cap 1 much softer and thus compliant material in which they by means of special, the shape of the seals 17 and 17 'adapted holding devices.
  • These holding devices are, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 5 to 7, designed in the manner of tongue and groove, which are formed between chambers 13 or 13 'and seals 17 and 17'.
  • the chambers 13 and 13 'and the seals 17 and 17' are round, ie, the chambers 13 and 13 'have a cylindrical shape, wherein in their axial inner walls 19 and 19' each have a circumferential groove 20 and 20 'is formed, whereas the disc-shaped seals 17 and 17' on their axial outer walls 21 and 21 'circumferentially formed projections 22 and 22', with which they enter into the grooves 20 and 20 'and so of these being held.
  • the seals 17 and 17 'are made Due to the soft and deformable nature of the material from which the seals 17 and 17 'are made, they can easily be inserted or pressed into the chambers 13 and 13' of the closure cap 1, which are made of a harder plastic material , wherein the circumferential projections 22 and 22 'easily engage in the grooves 20 and 20'. This can be done by a special assembly machine.
  • the container neck can be welded to the inside of the shell 3 of the cap 1 also made of plastic in a simple manner with this, resulting in a very tight connection. It may also be advantageous if the upper side 15 of the container neck 4 is also welded to the lower sides of the chamberings and possibly also in addition to the lower sealing surfaces of the seals, if these are made of plastic, for example. This measure results in a very intimate and tight connection of the individual components, especially in the area of the puncture areas.
