Definitions
- the present invention relates to passage blocking devices, and more particularly to gates for blocking and unblocking passage of buildings or property.
- Folding gates and sliding gates are known which can be opened and closing must be moved in their entirety.
- An example of this are sliding gates with vertical bars that can be moved laterally. These gates require a lot of above-ground space for adjustment.
- Collapsible scissor lattices overcome the problem of high space requirements, but have other disadvantages in that they are usually easy to climb over, difficult to use and prone to wear.
- Gates that can be lowered underground have also been developed, which can completely or partially disappear into the ground to open a passage.
- Such gates require a deep sink, which is complex to manufacture on the one hand and on the other hand has boundary conditions for its local location, since it may collide with pipes, pipes, etc. laid in the ground.
- DE-PS-36 11 372 discloses a drive-through barrier running transversely to a road with a pit and a locking element which can be lowered therein by means of hydraulic cylinders.
- the locking element has an upper horizontally extending steel beam and a plurality of vertical steel beams adjoining it.
- a grille with lattice bars which are connected at their upper end by an upper spar, in the locking element so as to be retractable.
- the bars run through holes in the upper horizontal steel beam of the locking device.
- the upper spar is also extended by means of hydraulic cylinders, which are supported on the underside of the vertical steel beams, and lowered.
- the sinking depth of the pit corresponds to the height of the vertical steel beams plus that Height of the hydraulic cylinders.
- the total lifting height of the drive-through barrier is the sum of the lifting height of the horizontal steel girder and the lifting height of the grille.
- the object on which the present invention is based is therefore to provide an improved passage blocking device, in particular a gate for blocking and unblocking a passage of buildings or property, which is retractable and simple in construction with a low sinking depth.
- a passage blocking device in particular a gate for blocking and unblocking a passage of buildings or land, with a movable holding device for holding a telescopic blocking device; and a moving device for moving the holding device between a locked position and a through position of the telescopic locking device; wherein the telescopic locking device can be shortened when moving from the locking to the open position under the influence of a counterforce that can be applied by a pad; and the telescopic locking device when moving from the open position to the locking position is reversely extendable under the influence of gravity.
- a particular advantage of the passage blocking device according to the invention is its simple structure, which does not require a complex mechanism which acts directly on the telescopes.
- the idea on which the present invention is based thus lies in the use of gravity to pull out the telescopic locking device and the counterforce of a sunken base for pushing together.
- the sunken underlay for example the ground or an underground slab, must not necessarily be arranged in a continuous pit, but the pit can be adapted to the geometrical arrangement of the telescopic locking device.
- cables that have been subsequently laid in the ground can be taken into account by a suitable shape and arrangement of the telescopic locking device and a collision avoided.
- the holding device has two essentially vertical longitudinal beams and a first transverse beam which is guided therein essentially horizontally and is movable by the movement device. This is a particularly inexpensive construction.
- the telescopic locking device has a plurality of telescopic rods which are attached at one end to the first cross member in a specific geometric arrangement.
- the telescopic rods are attached to the first cross member in a linear arrangement.
- the holding device has an essentially horizontal second cross member and the telescopic rods are attached at one end to the second cross member in a corresponding geometric arrangement.
- This structure is characterized by particular stability.
- the second cross member is guided in the two longitudinal members.
- the two longitudinal beams are arranged in a recessed pit, the bottom of which forms the recessed base and which has such a depth that the first crossmember closes at ground level in the open position and the telescopic locking device is completely pushed together.
- the second cross member closes off at ground level in the locked position. This structure prevents unauthorized lifting of the second cross member.
- the telescopic rods have hollow tubes of different diameters pushed into one another. This structure ensures that the telescopic rods slide in and out without any problems.
- Figure 1 is a telescopic retractable gate as an embodiment of the present invention in the locked position in broadside view.
- FIG. 2 the telescopically retractable gate of Figure 1 in the open position in broadside view.
- Fig. 3 is an enlarged schematic representation of a
- Telescopic rod of the telescopically retractable gate according to Figures 1 and 2 in the locked position.
- Fig. 4 is an enlarged schematic representation of a
- Fig. 1 shows a telescopic retractable gate as an embodiment of the present invention in the locked position in broadside view.
- reference numerals 1, 1 ' denote a first and a second vertical longitudinal member, 2 a horizontal upper cross member, 3 a horizontal lower cross member, 4 vertical telescopic rods, 5 a cesspool, 5a the bottom of the cesspit and 6 the soil.
- the first and the second vertical side members 1, 1 ' are both anchored in accordance with the depth t of the recess pit 5 on the sides thereof in the ground 6.
- the horizontal upper cross member 2 and the horizontal lower cross member 3 are vertically displaceably mounted in the first and second vertical side members 1, 1 '. Between the horizontal upper cross member 2 and the horizontal lower cross member 3, the telescopically collapsible or extendable telescopic rods 4 are attached in a linear, parallel arrangement.
- the upper horizontal cross member 2 can be moved between a blocking position and a passage position by means of a movement device (not shown), i.e. can be opened and closed.
- the lower horizontal cross member 3, on the other hand, in the exemplary embodiment shown is only vertically displaceably mounted in the first and second vertical longitudinal members 1, 1 'and is not driven directly to move, but indirectly via its connection to the telescopic rods 4.
- the telescopic rods 4 are pulled apart due to the effect of gravity block the passage defined between the two vertical side members 1, 1 '.
- the height of the upper horizontal cross member 2 is dimensioned such that the lower horizontal cross member 3 is at ground level.
- the lower horizontal cross member 3 is still inside the pit 5 at its upper edge. This means that it is not accessible from the outside and cannot be lifted.
- an upward-acting pawl (not shown) can expediently be provided in the guide of the two vertical side members 1, 1 '.
- Fig. 2 shows the telescopically retractable gate of FIG. 1 in the open position in broadside view.
- the upper horizontal cross member 2 is moved downwards in its guidance in the two vertical longitudinal members 1, 1 '.
- the lower horizontal cross member 3 with the telescopic rods 4 pulled apart, sinks into the pit 5 until it touches the bottom 5a thereof.
- the telescopic rods 4 are pushed together under the influence of the counterforce applied by the base 5a.
- the upper horizontal cross member 2 closes off the cesspool at ground level, and the telescopic rods 4 are completely pushed into one another.
- Fig. 3 shows an enlarged schematic representation of a telescopic rod of the telescopically retractable gate according to Fig. 1 and 2 in the locked position.
- reference numerals 4a, 4b and 4c denote a first, second or third hollow tube with increasing diameter in this order.
- the hollow tubes 4a and 4b have an annular widening 8a and 8b at their respective lower ends.
- the hollow tubes 4b and 4c have an annular narrowing 9b and 9c at their respective upper ends.
- the hollow tube 4a is attached at its upper end to the upper horizontal cross member 2, and the hollow tube 4c is attached to the lower horizontal cross member 3 at its lower end.
- the widenings 8a and 8b interact with the corresponding narrowing 9b and 9c in such a way that when the lower horizontal cross member 3 is lifted off the bottom 5a, the hollow tubes 4a, 4b and 4c cannot slide completely apart, but in shape of an end stop are blocked.
- Fig. 4 shows an enlarged schematic representation of a telescopic rod of the telescopically retractable gate according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in the open position.
- the widenings 8a and 8b act in such a way that when the lower horizontal cross member 3 rests on the floor 5a, they also support the hollow tubes 4a and 4b in the form of an end stop on the latter.
- the sum of the length 1 of the hollow tube 4a and the widths b2 and b3 of the two horizontal cross members 2, 3 thus determine the minimum depth t of the recess pit 5.
- hollow tubes 4a, 4b, 4c is not limited to three, but can be adapted to the respective height and stability requirements.
- the more hollow tubes used to achieve a certain lifting height the smaller the length required for the longest hollow tube, which determines the minimum depth t of the recess pit 5.
- the second cross member 3 is not absolutely necessary. If you omit it, even the pit can be simplified in such a way that only a shallow depression is provided for the first cross member 2 in accordance with its thickness, to which holes for receiving the telescopic rods connect at the locations of the individual telescopic rods. These holes can have reinforcement on their circumference to increase stability.
- the telescopic locking device is by no means limited to the linear arrangement of telescopic rods 4, rather any telescopic elements could be provided in any geometric arrangement.
