Definitions
- the invention relates to a dispensing device, in particular for a beer keg, according to the preamble of claim 1 or 13.
- DE 195 40 542 A1 describes a beer keg with an integrated one Dispensing device known in the outer surface of the beer keg is arranged in the lower region of the barrel.
- the Dispensing device consists essentially of a hollow cylindrical Outer part and an axially displaceable in the outer part, also hollow cylindrical inner part, whereby the outer part through an opening in the lateral surface of the Beer keg protrudes into the beer keg and on the peripheral edges of the hole firmly connected to the wall of the beer barrel is to seal the hole.
- the hollow cylindrical The outer part of the tap has in its outer surface an opening through which beer into the interior of the outer part can occur.
- the also hollow cylindrical inner part points at its outer end in the area the lateral surface at the bottom of an outlet through which Beer can be tapped, with the inside face of the hollow cylindrical inner part is free to enter of beer from the hollow cylindrical outer part into the Allow inner part.
- the inner part is completely in that Pushed in the outer part.
- the tap closes here on the outside almost flush with the Shell surface of the beer keg, so that damage the dispenser largely excluded during transport is.
- the opening in the lateral surface of the hollow cylindrical outer part in this state the outer surface of the hollow cylindrical inner part is covered, so that no beer can come out of the keg.
- the hollow cylindrical inner part is then pegged by means of a molded on the outer face of the inner part Pulled the handle out axially until the two openings in the The outer surfaces of the inner part and outer part should be covered.
- the beer flows through the opening in the Shell surface of the outer part, then through the open inner Front of the inner part and is then over the Exit opening in the outer surface of the inner part released.
- the known beer keg described above with the integrated Dispensing device allows an immediate Tap start without a previous manual installation, disadvantageous in the known dispensing device, however, is that Inner part and outer part form an interference fit to a to achieve sufficient sealing effect, which makes the axial Displacement of the inner part only with a relatively large one Force is possible. Especially with one largely empty and accordingly light beer keg can cause the beer keg to tip over or hold on of the beer keg required.
- the invention has for its object a dispensing device to create the type described above, in the the stability of the liquid container also largely empty state is not endangered. Furthermore the invention has for its object a dispensing device with better manageability.
- the task is - starting from the known dispensing device according to the preamble of claim 1 - by the characteristic features of claim 1 or - with regard better manageability - through the features of the claim 13 solved.
- the invention includes the technical teaching, the dispensing device to train essentially in three parts by a valve is inserted into the hollow cylindrical inner part which is movable relative to the inner part and which Exit opening in the inner part depending on the Releases valve position for liquid delivery or closes.
- the valve formed as a rotary valve the axis of rotation of the Rotary valve preferably substantially perpendicular to Longitudinal axis of the inner part runs and for manual operation of the rotary valve, a pivotable tap is provided.
- a pivotable tap is provided.
- Rotary valve made of a hollow cylindrical sleeve, which in the Inner part is arranged axially rotatable. Both the inner part as well as the sleeve have on their outer Opening in the outer surface, the openings in the sleeve and inner part by rotation the sleeve more or less overlaps around its longitudinal axis can be brought to the liquid flow too Taxes. So the liquid flow is maximum when the both openings in the sleeve and inner part completely one above the other cover, whereas no liquid is released when the two openings in the sleeve and Do not overlap the inner part. It is advantageous here the known arrangement described above that the inner part is not twisted, so that in the outer surface of the inner part of the outlet opening points downwards, which makes handling when tapping essential is facilitated.
- the valve on the other hand, a piston that controls the delivery of liquid arranged axially displaceably in the inner part is.
- the piston is preferably a hollow cylindrical one Sleeve formed, which has an opening in its lateral surface has, which by axial displacement of the piston brought into register with the outlet opening in the inner part can be, whereupon liquid is released.
- the liquid therefore passes through hollow cylindrical outer part into the hollow cylindrical inner part and then into the plunger and then through the Opening in the outer surface of the piston and the outlet opening emitted in the outer surface of the inner part to become.
- the piston is preferably in the hollow cylindrical inner part preloaded by a spring, which ensures that the opening in the lateral surface of the Piston without external influences does not coincide with the Outlet opening lies in the hollow cylindrical inner part, so that no liquid is dispensed when the piston is at rest becomes.
- the piston must therefore be used to dispense liquid be axially displaced against the spring force until the two openings are aligned.
- the inner part at its outer end have grips protruding laterally.
- the user grips for example with index and middle fingers behind the grips and presses the plunger with your thumb axially into the hollow cylindrical inner part until the the two openings in the piston and the inner part are covered and accordingly dispensed liquid becomes. It is particularly advantageous in a protruding downward Grip to provide a hollow channel through which the liquid is dispensed.
- the dispensing device is only two parts with a hollow cylindrical Outer part and a hollow cylindrical inner part, the hollow cylindrical inner part about its longitudinal axis can be rotated to corresponding openings in the lateral surfaces of inner part and outer part more or less in To bring cover and thus control the flow of liquid.
- the openings in the outer part and inner part point here each have a special shape to turn when twisting to enable sensitive metering of the liquid flow.
- At least one of the two openings has an outer part and inner part one towards the other Opening decreasing width to ensure a uniform opening To achieve increase in fluid flow since the Liquid flow of the size of the superimposed ones Opening areas depends. So the openings for example, be triangular, wherein the tips of the triangles each face the other opening are.
- At least one seal be between the Inner part and the outer part arranged at least one seal be. It is advantageous if the at least one Seal in the area of the flow opening of the outer part is trained.
- a sealing ring is arranged around the inner part. This prevents liquid from getting into the gap between Inner part and outer part enters and through the flow opening can get to the valve, especially if in front of and behind the flow opening of the outer part Secure the sealing rings in an annular groove in the outer part.
- the seal as the flow opening cuff surrounding the wall of the outer part is formed in the gap between the inside and the outer part a sealing bead along the outer circumference of the Has flow opening.
- the seal against entry of liquid in the inner channel of the inner part when pushed in Inner part can be guaranteed safely.
- the sealing bead in the direction the inside of the barrel is designed as a sealing surface
- the opening for the flow in the outer tube is designed as an elongated hole in which the sealing bead is injected.
- the sealing material the actual flow opening through the outer part. It makes sense that the areal expansion is a little more than the clear expanse the flow opening of the inner part is.
- the seal advantageously consists of elastic, sprayable material. It can be particularly favorable that the seal for the flow opening in the outer part in one piece with the end seal between the tap and the barrel is formed, the end seal on the outer part is injected.
- Means for releasably fixing the inner part in the operating position provided, i.e. in the position in the the flow openings of the inner and outer part in essential curses.
- the limiting means can advantageously be used as Means for releasable fixing be formed.
- a locking recess is formed on the inner part is in which a resilient arranged on the outer part Detachably engages.
- the locking lug is advantageously on a resilient element molded, which is integrally formed on the outer part.
- the dispensing device according to the invention is not for use limited to beer kegs, but can also use with other liquid containers.
- Crucial is only that the tap in the wall of the Liquid container is preassembled, so that a liquid withdrawal possible without previous installation work is.
- outer part and the inner part are not necessarily be cylindrical. So for example, these components can also be rectangular Have cross-section or be triangular, which also prevents rotation of the inner part in the outer part becomes.
- the dispensing device shown in FIGS. 1a and 1b is in the wall 1 of a 5 liter beer barrel integrated and enabled thus without cumbersome installation work immediate tapping of beer, which is particularly nearly the case with this one intended for private use only Barrel size is important.
- a circular Opening with a diameter of 2 cm is provided, whereby the wall 1 in the area of the peripheral edges of the hole is arched inside to form a trough for the protruding Form parts of the dispenser and their damage to prevent during transport or storage.
- a hollow cylindrical outer part 2 is pressed in from plastic, which protrudes into the beer keg with a length of approx. 5 cm and a free end face at its inner end has, so that beer from the barrel interior into the Outer part 2 can occur.
- a sealing element 3 arranged that leakage of beer through the annular gap between the outer part 2 and the wall 1 prevented and with the outer part 2 by a tongue and groove combination connected is.
- the end of the sealing element 3 tapers conically To allow insertion into the opening.
- the outer part 2 has a continuous hollow channel 4 with a constant cylindrical over the entire length of the outer part 2 Cross section on, so that the hollow channel 4 a Slide bush forms.
- the dispensing device has Inner part 5 with a cylindrical outer cross section, the one with the hollow channel 4 in the outer part 2 a transition fit forms and with appropriate effort axially in the outer part 2 can be moved.
- an axially extending spring 6 integrally formed in a likewise axially extending groove 7 engages in the inner surface of the outer part 2 and thereby prevent rotation of the inner part 5 in the outer part 2.
- the tongue and groove combination prevents a complete pulling out of the inner part 5 from the outer part 2, since the groove 7 in the outer part 2 is not up to extends to the front end of the outer part 2, so that the Spring 6 in a certain axial position of the inner part 5 strikes at the end of the groove 7 and another pulling out of the inner part 5 prevented. This is important because when the inner part 5 is pulled out completely the outer part 2 in the filled state of the beer barrel Exit the beer barrel unhindered through the hollow channel 4 would.
- the inner part 5 has on its outer surface circular locking projections 6 'on the in the tapping position of the inner part shown in Fig. 1a 5 in corresponding recesses in the inner surface of the outer part 2 snap into place. On the one hand, these prevent locking projections an inadvertent pushing of the inner part 5 during the dispensing process. On the other hand, the user feels when pulling out the inner part 5, the snap in Locking projections, which signals that the tap position has been reached becomes.
- the inner part 5 has a continuous hollow channel 8 on that at the inner end of the inner part 5 in the end face of the inner part 5 and on the outside End of the inner part 5 in a vertical cylindrical Bore opens into which a rotary valve 9 is inserted is that can be rotated via a tap 10.
- a rotary valve 9 is inserted is that can be rotated via a tap 10.
- To the Tap of beer becomes the tap 10 parallel to the inner part 5 turned outwards, whereupon beer from the barrel interior in the hollow channel 4 of the outer part 2 and then in the Hollow channel 8 enters the inner part 5 to finally through a hollow channel located in the rotary valve 9 to become.
- the tap 10 is fully folded against the inner part 5 can be, so that the inner part 5 together with the folded Cock 10 are pushed into the outer part 2 can. So it is not necessary to tap before tapping first to install the tap as this is an integral one Forms part of the tap.
- the tapping process also takes place in a conventional manner by turning the tap 10 and not - as in the beginning known beer keg described with an integrated Dispensing device - by a relatively unnatural Sliding movement.
- Another advantage of this embodiment is that see that the inner part 5 protruding downwards Rotary valve 9 in the transport position shown in Fig. 1b disappears in a recess 11 in the outer part 2, the outlet opening of the rotary valve 9 from the Wall of the outer part 2 is sealed, creating a Soiling of the outlet opening during transport or Storage is prevented.
- annular Handle 12 molded into which the user with the Index finger can intervene.
- Fig. 1c shows an enlarged view of the tap 10, from which it can be seen that on the lateral surface of the Tap 10 arranged a circumferential locking projection 13 which is in corresponding recesses in the inner part 5 engages and thereby fixes the tap 10 axially.
- FIG. 1d shows a further embodiment of an inventive Dispenser largely with the above described and shown in Figs. 1a to 1c Dispenser corresponds. So to simplify it matching components with the same reference numerals provided, so that in this regard to the above description is referred.
- the difference is on the one hand in that for pulling out the inner part 5 from the Outer part 2 a foldable handle 14 is provided, which molded onto the outer end face of the inner part 5 is.
- the user engages to pull out the inner part 5 first behind the handle 14 and fold it down, to then insert the index finger into the handle opening.
- the lower arms 15 of the handle 14 when folded down against the outer part 2 are pressed and thereby the inner part 5 already pull out a bit.
- the other is the outer part 2 closed at its barrel end. The beer flows through the opening 8 ′ into the hollow channel 4 of the outer part 2 and from there into the channel 8 of the inner part 5.
- Fig. 2 shows a further variant of an inventive Dispensing device which - like those already described above Variants - pre-assembled in the wall 1 of a beer barrel becomes.
- the dispensing device has an outer part 2, which has already been described in detail above was, so that in this regard to the description of the previous Figures is referenced.
- the outer part 2 is a substantially hollow cylindrical Inner part 16 arranged between a transport position and a dispensing position is axially displaceable, the dispensing device in the transport position with the Wall 1 of the beer barrel is almost flush, whereby damage to the tap during transport or Storage of the beer keg is largely prevented.
- the beer flow is controlled by a Piston 17, which is axially in a hollow channel in the inner part 16 is slidably arranged.
- a spring is in turn molded into a corresponding one Groove engages in the inner surface of the inner part 16.
- this causes the piston 17 to rotate prevented in the inner part 16.
- the other is on this Way of the axial range of motion of the piston 17 in the Inner part 16 set.
- the piston 17 is thereby a coil spring 18 is biased axially to the piston 17 outwards into the rest position shown in FIG.
- the push in of the piston 17 in the inner part 16 is thereby Grips 19a, 19b facilitated, with the user the index finger behind the handle 19a and with the middle finger reaches behind the handle 19b and the piston 17 with your thumb into the inner part 16.
- the arrangement shown thus advantageously allows One-handed operation, without the stability of the beer keg to endanger what is particularly in a largely empty Beer keg is important. That at the bottom of the inner part molded handle 19b serves here in addition to Support of the middle finger also for the delivery of the beer and has a hollow channel 20 for this purpose.
- the handle formed on the top of the inner part 16 19a also serves to seal the dispensing device.
- the handle 19a has an axially continuous Opening through which in the transport position of the Tap a molded on the outer part 2 on the end face Bridge 21 protrudes.
- Fig. 3 shows the course of the groove 7 in the wall of the outer part 2. From this illustration it can be seen that the Tongue and groove combination forms a bayonet lock that an axial fixation of the inner part 16 in the outer part 2 both in the transport position and in the tap position enables.
- Inner part 16 are first rotated about its longitudinal axis, until the spring 6 is in the axially extending groove piece 7 located.
- the inner part 16 in the tap position is fixed by turning the inner part, until the spring 6 is in the transverse groove piece 24 located.
- the bayonet lock described above is in its use not on the tap with a Piston restricted, but can also with the others Embodiments of the dispensing device according to the invention be used.
- Fig. 4a shows a variant of a break seal
- the one Manufacturer's sealing of the dispensing device allows and breaks when you open the beer keg for the first time.
- a web with a rounded, thicker head 25 is formed on the outer end face of the outer part 2 .
- pulling out the inner part 16 Head 25 then due to the relatively low mechanical strength torn off the dock.
- FIG. 4b shows a modification of such a break ice, in which the head 27 is barbed to ensure that the Head really torn off when pulling out the inner part becomes.
- the Opening 28 in the handle 19a not as a continuous Channel, but formed as a depression that the head 29th in the transport position.
- Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment of an inventive Dispensing device with a piston 17 for control the delivery of beer.
- the piston 17 is not, however, by a spiral spring biased, but by spring arms 30 made of plastic, which are molded onto the inner end of the inner part 16 are and push the piston 17 axially outwards.
- the arrangement of the spring arms 30 is detailed in Fig. 6a seen the axial front view of the inner part 16 shows.
- Figure 6b shows an alternative embodiment of the inner part 16, with the spring arms 26 in the circumferential direction are arranged and push the piston 17 axially outwards.
- FIG. 7a shows another embodiment of an inventive Dispensing device, in which the beer delivery also is controlled by a rotary movement, however the axis of rotation is not - as in the embodiment 1a - perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, but parallel runs to the longitudinal axis of the outer part 2.
- the outer part 2 there is a hollow cylindrical inner part 32 axially displaceable, being on the lateral surface an axially extending spring 6 is formed on the inner part 32 is in a likewise axially extending groove 7 in the The inner surface of the outer part 2 engages. For one, prevented the tongue and groove combination a full pull out of the inner part 32 from the outer part 2. On the other hand thus rotation of the inner part 32 in the outer part 2 is prevented. This is important because at the outer end of the An outlet opening 33 for the beer is arranged on the inside 32 which occurs when the inner part 32 rotates would turn and cause problems with the tap.
- the beer dispensing is controlled by a cylindrical one Sleeve 34 which is rotatably arranged in the inner part 32 is, the operation of the sleeve by a knurled wheel 35th takes place, which is integrally formed on the free end of the sleeve 34.
- On the outer surface of the sleeve 34 is circular circumferential spring formed into an annular Groove engages in the inner surface of the inner part 32, whereby the sleeve 34 is axially fixed in the inner part 32.
- the sleeve 34 is by means of the knurled wheel 35 rotated so that one arranged in the wall of the sleeve 34 triangular opening 36 in register over the Opening 33 is in the wall of the inner part 32. This in the beer keg can then through the hollow channel 4 and the opening 33 emerge. After tapping the Sleeve 34 then rotated so that the opening 33 from the outer surface the sleeve 34 is closed.
- Fig. 7b shows a further embodiment of such Dispensing device in which the beer dispensing is controlled by a sleeve 38 located in the inner part 37 is rotated about its longitudinal axis by a knurled wheel 39.
- the Sleeve 38 consists of relatively soft material and has axially extending ribs 40a on its lateral surface, 40b, which in corresponding grooves 41a, 41b on the inside of the inner part 37 engage and thereby seal them.
- the size of the ribs 40a, 40b on the lateral surface the sleeve 38 and the grooves 41a, 41b in the inside of the Inner part 37 varies over the circumference, so that always a large rib 40a in a large groove 41a and one small rib 40b engages in a small groove 41b.
- a large rib 40a is pressed into a small groove 41b, while the small ribs 40b engage the large grooves 41a, so that they are not completely sealed.
- the remaining gaps between the little ones Ribs 40b and the large grooves 41a can then axially beer penetrate and finally discharged through the outlet opening 42 become.
- Figure 8 shows a further embodiment of an inventive Dispensing device in which the dosage of Beer is dispensed by a sliding movement.
- a cylindrical inner part 43 with a axially continuous hollow channel 44 arranged on his outer end of a vertical, continuous hole has, in which a piston 45 arranged vertically displaceable is.
- the piston 45 is supported by a spiral spring 46 biased upward so that the piston 45 in the rest position seals the hollow channel 44 in the inner part 43, so that no beer flows.
- the piston 45 is then used for journaling pressed down vertically until the side opening in the piston 45 releases the hollow channel 44, so that the beer flows from the barrel through the hollow channels 4, 44 and through a Exit opening 47 is released.
- FIG. 9 finally shows an embodiment of an inventive Dispensing device, which is essentially in two parts is trained.
- the tap shown again a hollow cylindrical outer part 2, which in a attached to the bottom of the barrel near the bottom of the barrel Opening is pressed in and then the opening with closes the sealing element 3.
- outer part 2 on its inside Front closed and only points to his Shell surface near the wall on an opening 48.
- the dosage the beer is dispensed by turning one molded onto the outer end of the inner part 28 Knurled wheel 50, creating an opening 51 in the lateral surface of the inner part 49 with the opening 48 in the lateral surface of the outer part 2 are more or less aligned can.
- the inner part 49 rotated so that the two openings 48, 51 are in register lie on top of each other.
- the beer in the beer keg then passes through openings 48, 51 into a hollow channel 52 into the inner part 49 in order to then use a
- the lateral surface of the inner part 49 is provided in the opening 53 to become.
- the hollow channel 52 in the inner part 49 has here an internal cross-section widening in the flow direction to prevent the beer from foaming when tapping prevent.
- there are also axially extending channels in the outer surface of the opening 53 is provided.
- the two openings 48, 51 are slit-shaped and axially aligned to only release the beer delivery, when the inner part 49 is rotated so that the outlet opening 53 is directed downwards.
- the tap shown in Fig. 10a is largely correct with the dispensing device shown in Fig. 2, so that largely referred to the associated description can be.
- the difference between the two dispensing devices is that the piston 17 in the tap 10a not by a spiral spring, but is biased by an elastic bellows 55, which is arranged on the bottom of the inner part 54.
- the bottom of the inner part 54 is not the covers entire inner end face of the inner part 54, but consists of four radially extending struts 56 which carry the centrally located bellows 56, so that in the Beer keg of beer when tapping between the struts 56 can enter the piston 17.
- the bottom of the Piston 17 therefore also consists of several struts, which carry a centrally arranged circular plate, which serves as a counter bearing for the elastic bellows 55.
- FIG. 11 shows a region of a dispensing device in a another embodiment of a tap device in section shown.
- the outer part 2 with a Seal 60 in the area of the flow openings 61 and 61 ' equipped between the outer part 2 and the inner part 5.
- This seal is in one piece with the sealing element 3 formed that between the outer part 2 and the peripheral edge the opening in the wall 1 of the barrel is.
- the sealing material consists of elastic, sprayable material.
- the seal 60 as a separate part formed, which is inserted into an elongated hole 70 in the outer part 2 is.
- the seal points towards the inner part 5
- Sealing bead 63 which is slightly larger than the gap 64 between the inner part 5 and the outer part 2.
- the elongated hole extends towards the inside of the barrel, the seal 60 has an area 72 that is sufficiently large is complete to the flow opening 61 'in the inner part 2 to cover if this is during the pulling out of the Inner part shortly before overlapping with the flow opening 61 is located in the outer part 2 on this seal.
- the seal 60 is designed as a sleeve 62, i.e.
- the outside of the outer part 2 has a beaded edge the seal 60 is formed so that the seal 60 in the Slot 70 can be buttoned.
- a sealing ring arrangement i.e. if between the Flow opening 61 in the inner part 5 and the barrel end this inner part a sealing ring 73 'is arranged the outer part 2 remain open at the barrel end.
- FIG Limiter Another embodiment is also shown in FIG Limiter shown that the path of the inner part limited when pulling out.
- a groove 7 in the inner part and a spring 6 can be formed on the outer part. It is pointed out that the groove 7 is then not absolutely necessary is when the inner part 5 is of a circular cross section has different cross-section, so that The outer shape already ensures security against rotation is.
- a locking recess 66 instead of the groove 7, only a locking recess 66 is provided be in which a resilient locking lug arranged on the outer part 67 removably engages.
- the one shown in FIG. embodiment is the resilient latch in the front Area of the outer part 2 in the immediate vicinity of the Barrel wall 1 integrally formed on a resilient element 28, which in turn is integrally molded on the outer part is.
- On the catch 67 like
- the edges and surfaces can also be at the recess 66 be designed so that a clear and noticeable locking is brought about, but that also with expenditure a certain pressure the inner part out of the Operating position in the closed or rest position, in the no liquid is drawn off, can be spent.
- a ramp 69 for the inside cross-section of the outer part, i.e. molded into the hollow rim 4, protruding nose 67.
- the invention is not limited in its execution the preferred embodiments given above. Rather, a number of variants are conceivable, which fundamentally different from the solution shown make use of all types.
