  • This embodiment is particularly advantageous in obtaining packages having an outer envelope of yieldable paper and an inner container of impermeable material.
  • This embodiment also has the further advantage that when the product contained in the container has been consumed, the yieldable paper envelope can be torn up and disposed of in appropriate containers for paper, while the impermeable bag can be disposed of in a different container for sorted collection.
  • the method consists of inserting into a tunnel-shaped mould 30 with a profiled wall, a yieldable paper sheet 32 having its longitudinally edges joined together to form a tube. After applying two end plugs 34 to the mould, air is blown in through suitable apertures (not shown on the drawings) to obtain the shape 36 shown in Figure 9.
