Procédé selon une des revendications 1 à 11, caractérisé en ce que, à la fin du déplacement d'une feuille de verre découpée par rapport aux outils d'usinage munis de ponceuses à bande, on réduit la vitesse avec laquelle les bandes abrasives des ponceuses sont entraínées et/ou la pression avec laquelle les bandes abrasives sont appliquées contre les arêtes d'un bord d'une feuille de verre découpée, tout en réduisant la vitesse de déplacement relative entre la feuille de verre découpée et les outils d'usinage munis de ponceuses à bande.
  13. Procédé selon une des revendications 1 à 12, caractérisé en ce que des bandes diamantées ou des bandes à base de carbure de silicium sont utilisées en tant que bandes abrasives.
  14. Procédé selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce qu'un liquide de lavage et/ou de refroidissement est amené aux bandes abrasives diamantées, dans la région dans laquelle les bandes abrasives sont en contact avec les arêtes des bords d'une feuille de verre découpée.
  15. Procédé selon la revendication 14, caractérisé en ce qu'on utilise de l'eau en tant que liquide de lavage et/ou de refroidissement.
  16. Dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon une des revendications 1 à 15, comprenant des outils d'usinage (64, 71, 72) qui présentent chacun une paire de ponceuses à bande (10, 12) avec des bandes abrasives (26), les tronçons des bandes abrasives (26) des ponceuses à bande (10, 12), qui agissent sur les arêtes des bords d'une feuille de verre découpée (3), formant des angles aigus avec le plan de la feuille de verre découpée (3) à traiter et s'étendant dans des plans qui se croisent dans la région du bord de la feuille de verre découpée (3), caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu au moins deux outils d'usinage (64, 71, 72) comportant chacun une paire de ponceuses à bande (10, 12), en ce qu'un outil d'usinage (71) est associé au bord horizontal inférieur d'une feuille de verre découpée (3) à traiter, en ce qu'au moins un second outil d'usinage (64, 72) est guidé dans le bâti de machine (1) de manière à pouvoir être coulissé vers le haut et vers le bas, en ce que l'outil d'usinage (71) associé au bord horizontal inférieur de la feuille de verre découpée (3) est disposé dans la région d'un moyen de transport (4, 61) pour une feuille de verre découpée (3) à traiter, en ce que les tronçons des bandes abrasives (26) de cet outil d'usinage (71) qui agissent sur le bord de la feuille de verre découpée (3) se croisent sensiblement à hauteur du moyen de transport (4, 61) et en ce que l'outil d'usinage (64, 72), qui est guidé dans le bâti de machine (1) avec possibilité de coulissement vers le haut et vers le bas, est associé aux bords verticaux ou au bord horizontal supérieur de la feuille de verre découpée (3).
  17. Dispositif selon la revendication 15, caractérisé en ce que les ponceuses à bande (10, 12) sont montées pivotantes et peuvent être amenées par pivotement par un moteur (32, 34) dans une position de travail, dans laquelle leurs bandes abrasives (26) sont en contact avec le bord à traiter de la feuille de verre découpée (3).
  18. Dispositif selon la revendication 15, caractérisé en ce que la pression avec laquelle les bandes abrasives (26) sont appliquées contre le bord de la feuille de verre découpée (3) peut être réglée.
  19. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 18, caractérisé en ce que la vitesse avec laquelle les bandes abrasives (26) sont entraínées peut être réglée.
  20. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 18, caractérisé en ce que les bandes abrasives (26) se déplacent en direction de la région de croisement, dans laquelle est disposé le bord à traiter de la feuille de verre découpée (3).
  21. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 19, caractérisé en ce que l'outil d'usinage, au nombre d'au moins un, qui peut être déplacé dans le bâti de machine (1), parallèlement au plan de la feuille de verre découpée (3), peut tourner autour d'un axe qui est perpendiculaire au plan de ladite feuille de verre (3).
  22. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 20, caractérisé en ce que l'outil d'usinage (72), qui est guidé avec possibilité de déplacement vers le haut et vers le bas dans le bâti de machine (1), est associé au bord horizontal supérieur d'une feuille de verre découpée (3).
  23. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 21, caractérisé en ce que sont associés aux ponceuses à bande (10, 12) des agencements de buses (95) qui envoient un liquide favorisant le chanfreinage des arêtes des bords de la feuille de verre découpée (3).
  24. Dispositif selon la revendication 23, caractérisé en ce que les buses de l'agencement de buses (95) sont orientées dans la direction de déplacement des tronçons des bandes abrasives (26) des ponceuses (10, 12) qui leur sont adjacents.
  25. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 24, caractérisé en ce que des rouleaux d'appui (81) sont prévus entre les rouleaux de renvoi (22, 24) pour les bandes abrasives (26) des ponceuses (10, 12), dans la région dans laquelle les bandes abrasives (26) agissent sur les bords de la feuille de verre découpée (3).
  26. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 25, caractérisé en ce que les ponceuses à bande (10, 12) portent des tôles de protection (96) qui sont incurvées sous une forme concentrique avec les rouleaux de renvoi (22, 24).
  27. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 26, caractérisé en ce que l'outil d'usinage, pouvant être déplacé vers le haut et vers le bas dans le bâti de machine (1), peut être monté et abaissé verticalement à partir d'une position d'attente située en dessous du moyen de transport (61).
  28. Dispositif selon la revendication 27, caractérisé en ce que l'outil d'usinage (64) comporte des galets de guidage (78) et/ou des bandes de guidage (79) sans fin qui se trouvent dans la région du moyen de transport (61), lorsque la tête de ponçage (64) est en position d'attente.
  29. Dispositif selon la revendication 27 ou 28, caractérisé en ce que l'outil d'usinage (64) déplaçable vers le haut et vers le bas comporte des galets de guidage (75) appliqués contre les bords de feuilles de verre découpées (3).
  30. Dispositif selon la revendication 29, caractérisé en ce que les galets de guidage (75) sont montés sur des supports (76) en pouvant tourner librement autour d'axes horizontaux, lesdits supports pouvant être déplacés perpendiculairement au plan des feuilles de verre découpées (3).
  31. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 30, caractérisé en ce qu'il est équipé d'une enceinte, dans laquelle sont disposés au moins un outil d'usinage (64, 70, 71) et le moyen de transport (61) pour les feuilles de verre découpées (3).
  32. Dispositif selon une des revendications 15 à 31, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu deux postes d'usinage (63, 70), des bords verticaux (68, 69) de feuilles de verre découpées (3) étant chanfreinés dans un premier poste d'usinage (63) et des bords horizontaux étant chanfreinés dans un second poste d'usinage (70).
  33. Dispositif selon la revendication 32, caractérisé en ce qu'un outil d'usinage (64) déplaçable verticalement est prévu dans le premier poste d'usinage (63).
  34. Dispositif selon la revendication 32 ou 33, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu, dans le second poste d'usinage (70), deux outils d'usinage (71, 72) espacés l'un de l'autre, dont un (71) est placé dans la région du moyen de transport (61) et l'autre (72) à distance du moyen de transport (61), avec possibilité de déplacement vertical, perpendiculairement au moyen de transport.
  35. Dispositif selon une des revendications 32 à 34, caractérisé en ce que le moyen de transport (61) est divisé en plusieurs unités de transport (62).
  36. Dispositif selon la revendication 35, caractérisé en ce que chaque unité de transport (62) comprend une bande transporteuse sans fin (100), qui supporte les feuilles de verre découpées (3), et deux éléments transporteurs sans fin (106) qui agissent sur les faces des feuilles de verre découpées (3).
  37. Dispositif selon la revendication 36, caractérisé en ce que les éléments transporteurs sans fin (106) sont munis de mâchoires de pression qui renforcent le serrage par frottement sur les feuilles de verre découpées (3).
