  • the long hair cutting system is associated with a spring-mounted protective element such that a displaceably arranged actuating switch one or the other cutting edge can be covered by the protective element.
  • the object of the present invention is the known electrically operated Improve razor.
  • the comparative sharp-edged cutting teeth of the long hair cutting system with the a normal shaving routine of movement across the skin has occurred shown that skin irritation can occur.
  • a dry shaver in this first operating position of the cutting edge of the Long hair cutting system assigned a part acting as a skin protection element.
  • the part can act as a threading comb, for example.
  • the part can also be trained as a long hair cutter. It proves advantageous that the Part prevents the cutting teeth of the long hair trimmer directly from the skin of the User come into contact. Then when one of the other operating positions is reached the part no longer acts as a skin protection element.
  • the long hair trimmer can then can be used advantageously for trimming hair or for contour cutting.
  • Another embodiment of an automatically correct positioning of the long hair cutting system and the part shows claim 2. It goes without saying also possible that the long hair cutting system and the part are not at the same time but - at least partially - be moved one after the other.
  • the embodiment according to claim 3 shows that it is also possible to use the long hair cutting system and the part not at the same time but - at least partially - one after the other to move.
  • a slide switch is provided which for one acts as an on / off switch and by means of moving it to different ones Positions the long hair trimmer system in several operating positions is switchable. This makes the electrical handling particularly easy operable shaver reached.

  • the long hair cutting system 2 does not run in this position.
  • the slide switch 5, shaving is only possible with the short hair trimmer 3.
  • the slide switch 5 has been compared to the illustration of FIG Fig. 2 pushed up a distance d2.
  • This distance d2 can, for example 14 mm.
  • part 4 was also moved up accordingly in this first operating position of the cutting edge of the long hair cutting system 2 as Skin protection element works.
  • the position of the long hair cutting system 2 and part 4 corresponds to the illustration 3 of a so-called combination shave.
  • a cutting plane is formed by a tangent or tangential plane which is cut by the short hair trimmer 3, the long hair cutting system 2 and part 4 is determined. So the user leads when shaving both the long hair cutting system 2 in conjunction with the as a skin protection element acting part 4 and the short hair trimmer 3 over the skin.
  • the long hair cutting system 2 can also be designed to be floating and thus one Allow adaptation of the tangential plane to the skin surface of the user as well at an angle which may also be subject to fluctuations, at which the User holds the shaver against his skin.
  • the slide switch 5 is a distance d3 from the 3 has been pushed upwards.
  • This distance d3 can for example 4 mm.
  • part 4 no longer acts as a skin protection element for the long hair cutting system 2.
