- the invention also includes a tapeless respirator with at least three coupling parts on the mask side of three connecting devices for releasable fastening on a protective helmet as described in the preamble of claim 19 is.
- the advantage here is that such an arrangement of the connecting devices on the respirator and the corresponding connection devices easy access to the protective helmet is achieved, so that it can be attached quickly the respirator mask on the safety helmet is given.
- a fireman 1 is shown, the one as personal protective equipment Helmet 2 and a respirator 3 wearing a respirator 4, which Breathing apparatus has 4 bottles 5, in which the breathing air is under high pressure is saved.
- the personal protective equipment of fireman 1 is used to to make it independent of the ambient air, so that, as in the present embodiment shown fighting a fire with a jet pipe 6 also in an atmosphere enriched with poisonous gases and possibly also low in oxygen becomes possible.
- the strapless respirator 3 is connected to the device 7 Hard hat 2 connected and consists of two coupling devices 8 and 9, of which one is attached to the protective helmet 2 and the other to the breathing mask 3.
- the respiratory mask 3 further comprises a viewing window 10, a mounting frame 11 for this viewing window 10 and a sealing edge 12 with which a sealing Termination between the respirator 3 and a face 13 of the fireman 1 is manufactured.
- the breathing air from the bottles 5 is dosed via a regulator 14.
- the bottles 5 can be controlled via a control valve 15. For this is the Regulator 14 connected to the control valve 15 via a line 16.
- the fireman 1 it is possible for the fireman 1 to have only one bottle 5 Breathing air or several bottles 5 with breathing air carries with him. Furthermore, it is also possible that instead of the container devices used regeneration or circulation devices become. It is also irrelevant to the present invention whether normal pressure breathing apparatus can be used with regulator 14 or overpressure systems.
- the protective helmet 2 comprises a protective helmet shell 17, in which a support frame 18 for adaptation to the different head dimensions of users, especially of Firefighters 1 is arranged.
- a head width of the support frame 18 can by an adjusting device 19 can be set.
- On the support frame 18 is in the flank area 20 of the protective helmet 2, a support plate 21, for example fastened via rivets 22, which, as can be seen better from FIG. 4, has a pivot axis 23 Joint arrangement 24 for holding a helmet-side first and second coupling part 25 of the connecting devices 7, in the present case by a locking band 26 are formed, as well as an axis of rotation 27 about which a chin strap 28 can be rotated.
- the second coupling part 25 of the connecting device 7 is in turn via a pivot axis 23 of the further flank area 20 of the protective helmet 2 rotatably mounted.
- a visor 29 is also arranged around this pivot axis 23 a rest position shown in full lines in Figs. 2 and 4 within an interior 30, which is enclosed by the protective helmet shell 17, in a dashed Lines shown working position can be swung out.
- This visor 29 is predominantly used without the one at a distance from the protective helmet 2 shown respirator 3 thought. However, it is also possible with appropriate Design of the visor 29 and the respirator 3 these together to use.
- the respiratory mask 3 comprises the viewing window 10, which is in the mounting frame 11 is supported.
- the sealing edge 12 connects to the sealing end of the breathing mask 3 between this and the face 13 of the User serves.
- On the mounting frame 11 for the viewing window 10 is a helmet-side first and second coupling part 25 corresponding first and second coupling part 31 of the respiratory mask 3 in the present case, for example a clasp, in particular a latch clasp 32, arranged.
- the first and second coupling part 31 is also about a pivot axis 33 with the mounting frame 11 or a support plate arranged on the sealing edge 12 articulated and thus rotatably connected.
- the corresponding coupling part 25 assigned to this coupling part 31 exists in the present case from the locking band 26, which is tensile but flexible.
- the locking band 26 In the end portion facing the coupling part 31 has this locking band 26 in a small amount
- the ears of the user facing flank areas 20 of the helmet-side first and second coupling parts 25 supported in a tensile and shear-resistant manner on the supporting frame 18.
- the protective helmet 2 a further connecting device 35, which in the area of the forehead 36 of the user, firefighter 1 in particular, is assigned to.
- the other in the field of Forehead 36 arranged further connection device 35 is in turn by a helmet-side third coupling part 37 of the further connecting device of the Protective helmet 2 and a corresponding third respiratory protection side Coupling part 38 formed.
- the third coupling part 37 on the helmet side is secured by a latching element, in particular a locking band 39 is formed, whereas the third on the respiratory protection side Coupling part 38, via a corresponding locking element, in particular a locking clasp 40 is formed.
- the latch clasp 40 is in turn on the mounting frame 11 for the viewing window 10 the breathing mask 3 is arranged, which in turn over a pivot axis 41 can be rotatably mounted. It is advantageous here that an arrangement Pivot axis 41 for the latch clasp 40 is designed to be rotatable only to a limited extent is, so can only be pivoted over a certain angular range, as a result a rotation of the locking clasp 40 is prevented by 180 °, so that incorrect coupling of the two coupling parts 37, 38 is prevented.
- the helmet-side third coupling part 37 is on the support frame 18 of the protective helmet 2 and stored pressure-resistant or shear-resistant. For this it is possible that the helmet-side coupling part 37 is firmly connected to the support frame 18. Of course it is possible as shown in the illustrated embodiment that the third coupling part 37 is mounted on the support frame 18 via a pivot axis 42. Furthermore, it is possible that, for example, the helmet-side coupling part 37 for connecting to the Support frame 18 of the protective helmet 2 is formed with a support plate 43, so that the third clutch part 38 on the respiratory protection side has a stable contact surface on the support plate 43 receives.
- the arrangement of the support plate 43 ensures exact guidance of the others Connection device 35 when pushing the two coupling parts 37 together, 38 reached, so that pressure points on the face 13 of the user are prevented. Furthermore it is possible that the support plate 43 have guide webs for the locking clasp 40 can.
- the arrangement of the pivot axis 42 for the coupling part 37 also makes it possible to that this from a coupling position shown, as shown in Fig. 4, in the interior 30 of the protective helmet 2 can be pivoted in, so that the user when wearing the protective helmet 2 without the respirator 3 not from that in the area the forehead 36 arranged coupling part 37 is disturbed or hindered. It is also possible that when pivoting the coupling part 37 out of the interior 30th this snaps into a locking device, so that when connecting the respirator 3 with the protective helmet 2 prevents the helmet-side coupling part 37 from rotating becomes.
- the locking device can for example be designed such that the Coupling part 37 has 43 projections in the direction of the support plate, which then with a rotary movement from the interior 30 of the protective helmet 2 in the direction of the shown Connection position through increased effort in the corresponding for the projections Snap or snap recesses in the support plate 43, thereby a simple fixation for the helmet-side third coupling part 37 is achieved.
- the third clutch part 37 on the helmet side in turn, has the same as that in FIGS Flank regions 20 arranged first and second coupling parts 25, Positioning elements, in particular catches 34.
- all the connecting devices 7, 35 in particular their coupling parts 25, 31, 37, 38, by locking strips 26, 39 with the there detents 34 and formed by corresponding locking clasps 32, 40.
- the helmet-side coupling parts 25, 37 of the connecting devices 7, 35 in a plane perpendicular to the associated pivot axes 22, 42 adjustable relative to the outside of the protective helmet 2, i.e. the coupling parts on the helmet side 25, 37 from within the interior 30 of the protective helmet 2 Rest position in an outer boundary 44 of the protective helmet shell 17 lying rest position or connection point are adjustably mounted.
- connection the breathing mask 3 with the protective helmet 2 in particular the individual coupling parts 25, 31, 37, 38 with each other, is easily possible because the user, in particular the fireman 1, with his hands lightly on the individual parts of the connecting devices 7, 35 can get close and therefore a simple one Snap connection devices 7, 35 is guaranteed.
- the user the possibility of the individual helmet-side coupling parts 25, 37 in To see the corner of the eye so that due to the detection of the position of the coupling parts 25, 37 a quick and safe fitting or connecting of the respiratory mask 3 with the protective helmet 2 is possible.
- connection devices 7, 35 ratchet clasp 32, 40 ratchets when Insert the locking band 26, 39 upwards over the oblique flanks and snaps behind the locking flank.
- the respiratory mask 3 can accordingly the respective shape of the face 13 with sufficient pressure on the face 13 are pressed so that after completion of the face 13 on the Respirator 3 exerted pressure to adjust the respirator 3 this is firmly attached to the protective helmet 2 and thus with its sealing edge 12 sealing on Face 13 of the fireman 1 is present.
- By snapping the Coupling parts 25, 31, 37, 38 can be the breathing mask 3 in the protective helmet 2 opposite direction from this without actuating the locking clasps Loosen 32, 40.

- the clasp corresponding to this snap band 79 becomes, as in FIGS 9, on the breathing mask 3, in particular on the mounting frame 11 for the viewing window 10 arranged.
- the clasp is designed so that this in one Housing has a pin, for example in the upper area Indentation is arranged, which corresponds to the width 84 of the recess 83, whereas the pin has a diameter which corresponds to the diameter 82 of the openings 81, having.
- the pin 79, 80 is in the housing via a spring arrangement stored so that by inserting the snap band 79, 80 in the housing of the pin lowered from the snap band 79, 80, for example in the direction of the respiratory mask 3 is, so that if there is agreement when pressing the respiratory mask 3 in In the direction of the face 13, the pin engages in the first opening 81. Subsequently the user can press the button on the clasp Lower the peg until the recess 83 arranged on the peg with the Snap band 79 arranged recess 83 matches, so that a shift possible in the longitudinal direction through the recesses 83 in the next opening is.
- each of the connecting devices 7, 35, 51 is different can be executed.
- 35, 51 in FIG. 8 this is done by two imaginary cylinders 85, 86 with a corresponding one Diameters, which are shown in dash-dotted lines.
- the helmet-side, the coupling parts 25 assigned to the flank regions 20 of the protective helmet 2 are tangent approximately in their connecting position on an outer surface 87 of the imaginary first Cylinder 85.
- the imaginary first cylinder 85 is arranged in this manner in the protective helmet 2, that this is approximately perpendicular to the two flank regions 20 of the Protective helmet 2 extends.
- the further coupling part arranged in the region of the forehead 36 37 of the further connecting device 35 is in the region of a longitudinal axis 88 of the imaginary first cylinder 85.
- an imaginary second cylinder 86 is used.
- the coupling parts 52, 53 of the additional Connecting device 51 is also approximately tangent to an outer surface 89 of the second imaginary cylinder 86.
- the imaginary second cylinder 86 is in the same Position like the first imaginary cylinder 85 for the first and second clutch parts 25 arranged.
- a radial distance 90 between the first and second coupling parts 25 and the coupling part assigned to the additional connecting device 51 52, 53 is greater than a radial distance 91 between the first and second Coupling part 25 and the third coupling part 37. Due to the special arrangement is again achieved that a uniform pull on the respirator 3 in Direction of the face 13 arises and thus a light pressure on the respirator 3 without tilting the individual connecting devices 7, 35, 51 becomes.
- the coupling parts 31, 38, 54 of the breathing mask 3 and the corresponding coupling parts 25, 37, 52, 53 of the protective helmet 2 by any other form of connecting device known from the prior art 7, 35, 51 can be formed.
- the coupling parts 31, 38, 54 of the respiratory mask 3 via a bracket with the mounting frame 11 of the viewing window 10 of the breathing mask 3 are connected.
- the mask-side coupling parts 31, 38, 54 of the connecting devices 7, 35, 51 via a connecting element, e.g. a snap or snap connection are connected to the breathing mask 3.
- the respiratory protection-side coupling parts 31, 38, 54 via, for example a support plate is attached to the sealing edge 12 of the breathing mask 3 could be.
- the support plate or the sealing edge 12 is formed in such a way that the resulting breakthroughs are sealed airtight.
- the support plate is glued to the sealing edge 12, so that subsequently on the support plates, the coupling parts 31, 38, 54 can be attached.
- the locking rods have a corresponding diameter on the outer circumference of which the catches 34 are then arranged. This is it of course, necessary that the corresponding when using locking bars Coupling parts 31, 38, 54 on the respiratory mask 3 are designed accordingly have to be.
- connection devices are used when the holding frame 72 is used 7, 35 and 51 must be arranged, but that only in different Areas as required, the individual connecting devices 7, 35, 51 are arranged.
- This is advantageous because, for example, when used a protective helmet 2, the already in the flank areas 20 Has connecting devices 7, via the support frame 72 from the two-point bracket for the respiratory mask 3, a three-point bracket with the additional connecting device 35 or a five-point bracket with the additional connecting device 51 can be created.
- the locking straps 26, 39, 55 and 56 on the support frame 18 of the protective helmet 2 must be arranged, but that they are attached to the respirator 3.
- the corresponding locking clasps 32, 40, 57 are arranged on the support frame 18 of the protective helmet 2.
- the locking clasps 32, 40, 57 not directly be connected to the support frame 18, but that these on swivel plates are positioned, the pivot plates then connected to the support frame 18 are. This ensures that the arrangement of the swivel plates the locking clasps 32, 40, 57 are pivoted out of the interior 30 of the protective helmet shell 17 can be, so that in turn the user easy access to the individual locking clasps 32, 40, 57 obtained.
- helmet-side coupling parts 25, 37, 52 and 53 of the connecting devices 7, 35, 51 via stops or snap or snap connections each held in the rest position or firmly in the connection position on the protective helmet 2 or are supported on the support frame 18.
- the helmet-side coupling parts 25, 37, 52, 53 on the Support frame 18 are supported or stored and the protective helmet 2, in particular the Protective helmet shell 17, connected to the support frame 18 via a releasable connection is.
- the support frame 18 between this and the Protective helmet 2 arranged inner helmet assigned, preferably connected to this is.
- the support frame 18 by one within the outer boundary 44 of the protective helmet 2 lying inner helmet is formed.
