Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drain tap of a liquid container for drinks such as cans, party kegs or containers, in particular made of tinplate, aluminum or plastic, with all-round wall and top surfaces, according to the generic term of claim 1.
  • Beverage cans for beer or beer containers and other beverages usually have a pre-punched zipper for opening.
  • the inner tube pushed into the outer tube and the Openings in the jacket walls of the inner tube are covered by the inner circumferential surface of the outer tube and sealed liquid-tight.
  • a projection is attached to the outer wall of the container can hold a seal tape.
  • the seal tape Before opening the well-known Hahnes the seal tape is not only with the Container outer wall firmly connected, but also with the Rooster. If the tap is opened for the first time, this must first Seal tape will be destroyed. If the seal tape is intact, the user knows that the container is still in its condition the original filling.
  • the invention has for its object a seal to create a container before first use, the on the one hand permanently indicates the seal and on the other hand simple and inexpensive without the involvement of To produce the outer wall of the container.
  • the solution to the problem is specified in the characterizing part of claim 1 and consists in that in a hole within a drain tap on the wall or one of the top surfaces used with a closed and an open position which extends into the interior of the liquid container.
  • the hole inside the wall can be advantageous or top surface in a recess made in the same be arranged in the closed position of the drain valve the handle that connects to the inner tube of the drain tap is firmly connected, sunk within the recess is arranged.
  • On the outer tube is an outside of the Liquid container lying part, such as flange, arranged, to which a seal is attached by the handle of the inner tube protrudes and has a predetermined breaking point that when pulling the handle out of its seat in the closed position is capable of being torn down.
  • the drain valve according to the invention has the advantage that the same already from the manufacturer on the liquid container is attached so that none to consume the content further preparatory work is more necessary.
  • the drain cock is integrated in the liquid container. This is emptying at any place and without additional aids anytime possible.
  • the drain tap is used during manufacture of the liquid container by the producer assembled and by installing the drain valve Liquid container sealed at the same time.
  • the invention Drain valve is therefore a component of the liquid container.
  • Liquid container is easy to use. After seizing of the handle becomes the inner tube of the drain valve and pulled out of the outer tube after destroying a seal or screwed out like a screw, whereby in last third or last quarter of the path of the inner tube the liquid begins to flow towards the outer tube. If it is a drain valve, its Inner tube is turned out of the outer tube by means of a rotation this rotation is preferably 360 degrees, the liquid being approximately at an angular position of Begins to flow 300 to 330 degrees.
  • a vent valve may be arranged, which if necessary at the same time the filling valve for filling the Container. It is also possible that the drain valve itself has a venting device.
