Claims (35)
- Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Prägeplatte, insbesondere einer Stahltiefdruckplatte, die wenigstens eine Vertiefung in Form einer Linie aufweist, welche in die Oberfläche der Prägeplatte eingebracht ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß durch die wenigstens eine Linie eine begrenzte Teilfläche der Oberfläche definiert wird, wobei der Rand der wenigstens einen Teilfläche eine Sollkontur definiert und aus der Sollkontur und einer die Eindringtiefe des Gravurwerkzeugs bestimmenden Solltiefe eine Werkzeugbahn ermittelt wird, die innerhalb der Sollkontur liegt, und entlang der ein Gravurwerkzeug so gesteuert wird, daß das Material der Teilfläche innerhalb der Sollkontur in der vorbestimmten Solltiefe abgetragen wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens ein Teil der Werkzeugbahn konturparallel zur Sollkontur verläuft.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sollkontur kreuzungsfrei ist.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Solltiefe innerhalb der Werkzeugbahn variabel ist.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Solltiefe innerhalb der Werkzeugbahn konstant ist.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Material entlang der Werkzeugbahn innerhalb der Sollkontur durch einen einzigen Arbeitsweg des Gravierstichels abgetragen wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine innerhalb der Teilfläche liegende nicht gravierte Restfläche entlang einer zweiten Werkzeugbahn abgetragen wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Restfläche dadurch abgetragen wird, daß das Gravurwerkzeug so gesteuert wird, daß es die Oberfläche der Restfläche in Bahnen abträgt, die zu der Sollkontur ähnlich oder konturparallel sind.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Restfläche dadurch abgetragen wird, daß das Gravurwerkzeug so gesteuert wird, daß die Oberfläche der Restfläche mäanderförmig abgetragen wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Restfläche derart abgetragen wird, daß am Grunde der Gravur der Restfläche eine neue Oberfläche definierter Rauhigkeit entsteht.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gravierwerkzeug so gesteuert wird, daß die Rauhigkeit in Form von Rillen ausgebildet wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens ein Teil der in einer vorbestimmten Tiefe abgetragenen Oberfläche in einem oder mehreren weiteren Gravierschritten weiter vertieft wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mit dem einen oder den mehreren weiteren Gravierschritten eine für den Menschen erkennbare oder maschinenlesbare Information erzeugt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sollkontur mit Hilfe einer Datenverarbeitungsanlage definiert wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gravierwerkzeug ein Laserstrahl ist.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gravierwerkzeug ein mechanischer Stichel ist.

- Verfahren nach Ansprüchen 1 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mehrere Platten gleichzeitig graviert werden.
- Verfahren nach Ansprüchen 1 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Platte gleichzeitig mit mehreren Gravierwerkzeugen graviert wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 12 oder 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der wenigstens eine weitere Gravierschritt mit einem feineren Gravierwerkzeug ausgeführt wird als die Gravur beim ersten Gravierschritt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der wenigstens eine weitere Gravierschritt in einer von der Sollkontur abfallenden Flanke durchgeführt wird.

- Gravierter Gegenstand nach einem der Ansprüche 23 bis 29, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Substruktur eine maschinenlesbare Information darstellt.
- Gravierter Gegenstand nach einem der Ansprüche 23 bis 30, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Substruktur in Form von Rillen ausgeführt ist.
- Gravierter Gegenstand nach einem der Ansprüche 23 bis 31, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Substruktur mit Hilfe eines Laserstrahls eingebracht ist.
- Gravierter Gegenstand nach einem der Ansprüche 23 bis 32, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Substruktur mit einem mechanischen Stichel eingebracht ist.
- Verwendung des gravierten Gegenstandes nach einem der Ansprüche 23 bis 33 zur Herstellung von Präge- oder Druckplatten.
- Verwendung des gravierten Gegenstandes nach einem der Ansprüche 23 bis 33 zur Herstellung von Dokumenten, wie Wertpapieren, Banknoten, Ausweiskarten und dergleichen.
