Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Rost zur Bildung von Laufmatten oder Fußabstreifern, bestehend aus auf Abstand gehaltenen Profilleisten, die jeweils zwei hochragende, einwärts hinterschnittene Seitenflansche und einen diese miteinander verbindenden Steg sowie zwischen den Seitenflanschen angeordnete Einsatzstreifen aus verformbarem Material, z. B. Filz, Borstenmaterial oder Filzbelag, aufweisen, wobei der eine Seitenflansch von geringerer Höhe als der andere Seitenflansch ist. Ein solcher Rost ist durch die EP-A-0 706 775 bekanntgeworden. Die dort unterschiedlich hohen Wangen der Seitenflansche der Nut führen allerdings zu einer asymetrischen Konfiguration mit veränderter Kammerhöhe der Nut.
Bei einem aus der DE-U-90 03 350.7 bekannten Rost sichern die nach oben gerichteten Seitenflansche die beispielsweise durch Kleben auf den Stegen der Profilleisten befestigten Einsatzstreifen auch in der Nähe ihrer Oberkanten gegen Verrutschen, und zwar durch die nach innen gewandten, hinterschnittenen oberen Kanten, die in einen sich nach oben hin fortsetzenden, annähernd die Form eines rechtwinkligen Dreiecks besitzenden Aufsatz übergehen. Die freiliegenden, über diese Aufsätze nach oben vorstehenden Einsatzstreifen sind verschlissen bzw. verbraucht, sobald sie sich bis zur Oberkante der Seitenflansche, d.h. der Aufsätze abgenutzt haben.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Stand- und damit Nutzungszeit eines Rostes der eingangs genannt Art zu erhöhen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß der niedrigere Seitenflansch oberhalb der hinterschnittenen Kante endet, während der andere Seitenflansch mit einem darüber hinaus reichenden Aufsatz austäuft. Wie sich hierbei gezeigt hat, stellt das über dem niedrigeren Seitenflansch größere feiliegende Material der Einsatzstreifen ein Reservoir dar, das eine weitere Nutzung des Rostes ohne Wirkungsverlust auch dann erlaubt, wenn der Einsatzstreifen bis auf die Oberkante das Aufsatzes des somit höheren Seitenflansches verbraucht ist. Beim Auftreten auf den Rost stellt sich dann nämlich eine Hauptbelastung in Richtung auf den tiefer liegenden Seitenflansch ein, mit dem Ergebnis, daß auch dann noch ein uneingeschränktes Abstreifen von Schmutz möglich ist, was durch die Elastizität des Einsatzstreifens und einen Kippeffekt der Profilleisten insgesamt noch begünstigt wird. Der Rost läßt sich daher auch über die Abnutzung der Einsatzstreifen bis zu den höher liegenden Seitenflanschen hinaus verwenden, wobei die hochragenden Aufsätze in jedem Fall als Kratzkanten nachhaltig wirken. Trotz des Materialgewinns wird hierdurch die Verrutschsicherung der Einsatzstreifen nach wie vor gewährleistet, denn diese werden auch an der Seite mit dem Flansch ohne Aufsatz von der dort nach wie vor vorhandenen hinterschnittenen Kante gestützt.
Wenn die Profilleisten vorteilhaft paarweise, mit ihren niedrigeren Seitenkanten einander zugewandt angeordnet sind, läßt sich erreichen, daß zwei benachbarte Einsatzstreifen - wie bei dem bekannten Rost für jeweils einen separaten Einsatzstreifen - in der paarweisen Anordnung vorne und hinten einen hohen Seitenflansch besitzen.
Weitere Einzelheiten und Vorteile der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Ansprüchen und der nachfolgenden Beschreibung, in der ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Gegenstandes der Erfindung näher erläutert ist. Es zeigen:

Ein in Fig. 1 gezeigter Rost besteht aus mehreren Profilleisten 2, die durch Bodenstegelemente 3 parallel zueinander auf Abstand gehalten werden. Jede Profilleiste 2 besteht aus zwei hochragenden Seitenflanschen 4 bzw. 5 und einen diese miteinander verbindenden Steg 6. Zwischen die Seitenflansche 4, 5 der Profilleisten 2 sind Einsatzstreifen 7 aus verformbarem Material, beispielsweise Textilbelag, angeordnet. Diese lassen sich durch Verkleben auf den Stegen 6 der Profilleisten 2 befestigen, vorzugsweise endseitig mit der Profilleiste verschrauben. Durch nach innen gewandte, hinterschnittene obere Kanten 8 der Seitenflansche 4 bzw. 5 werden die Einsatzstreifen 7 in der Nähe ihrer Oberkanten zusätzlich gegen Verrutschen gesichert, indem die Kanten 8 der Seitenflansche 4 bzw. 5 den für die Einsatzstreifen 7 vorgesehenen Freiraum einengen und die Einsatzstreifen 7 somit festklemmen bzw. seitlich abstützen.
Der Seitenflansch 5 ist mit einer geringeren Höhe als der andere Seitenflansch 4 ausgebildet, womit erreicht wird, daß von den Einsatzstreifen 7 zumindest von einer Seite her eine entsprechend der Höhendifferenz zwischen dem niedrigeren Seitenflansch 5 und dem höheren Seitenflansch 4 entsprechende Materialmenge als zusätzliches Verschleißmaterial zur Verfügung steht; die Nutzungsdauer bzw. Standzeit des Rostes 1 wird hierdurch verlängert, ohne die Kratzeigenschaft zu verändern. Wenn - wie in Fig. 2 in vergrößertem Maßstab gezeigt - zwei benachbarte Profilleisten 2 paarweise so angeordnet sind, daß ihre niedrigeren Seitenkanten 5 einander zugewandt sind, ergibt sich für das Profilleistenpaar vorne und hinten eine Abstützung durch die höheren Seitenflansche 4, wie das bei dem bekannten Rost für jede einzelne Profilleiste der Fall ist.

Claims (2)

  1. Rost (1) zur Bildung von Laufmatten oder Fußabstreifern, bestehend aus auf Abstand gehaltenen Profilleisten (2), die jeweils zwei hochragende, einwärts hinterschnittene Seitenflansche (4, 5) und einen diese miteinander verbindenden Steg (6) sowie zwischen den Seitenflanschen angeordnete Einsatzstreifen (7) aus verformbarem Material, z. B. Filz, Borstenmaterial oder Textilbelag, aufweisen, wobei der eine Seitenflansch (5) von geringerer Höhe als der andere Seitenflansch ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der niedrigere Seitenflansch (5) oberhalb der hinterschnittenen Kante (8) endet, während der andere Seitenflansch (4) mit einem über seine hinterschnittene Kante (8) hinaus reichenden Aufsatz (9) ausläuft, wobei der Abstand zwischen dem steg (6) und den hinterschnittenen Kanten (8) beiden Seitenflänsche (4, 5) gleich ist.
  2. Rost nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Profilleisten (2) paarweise, mit ihren niedrigeren Seitenflanschen (5) einander zugewandt angeordnet sind.
