Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Trägerelement für Schmutzfangmatten mit wenigstens einer Nut zur Aufnahme von Scheuerflor- oder Borstenleisten.
Schmutzfangmatten werden herkömmlicherweise zum Beispiel aus fertigen Trägerelementen, welche mit Scheuerflor oder Borsten versehen sind, hergestellt. Die Trägerelemente sind langgestreckte Profilleisten, welche Nuten für die Aufnahme des Scheuerflors oder Borsten aufweisen. Diese werden in der Regel in die Nuten eingebracht und mittels eines Klebemittels dort fixiert. Die Tragerelemente werden parallel zueinander ausgerichtet und mittels flexiblen Verbindungselementen untereinander verbunden und damit zu einer Matte aufgebaut.
Beispielsweise werden zwischen den einzelnen Trägerelementen mehrere, mit einer Bohrung für einen Verbindungsdraht versehene elastische Elemente angeordnet. Die dadurch zwischen den Trägerelementen gebildeten Zwischenräume dienen der Aufnahme von Schmutz, welche durch den Scheuerflor resp. den Borsten von den Schuhen der die Matte überquerenden Personen entfernt wird. Durch das Auftreten und Abrollen der Schuhe auf den Matten wird eine Bürstwirkung erzielt. Zur Entfernung dieses Schmutzes lässt sich die Matte dank der elastischen Gummielemente auch gut aufrollen.
Aus EP 0 059 886 sind Rostelemente zur Bildung von Schmutzfangmatten bekannt, welche einen oder mehrere Streifen aus verformbarem Werkstoff, beispielsweise Borstenstreifen, aufweisen. Die Flanschen der Roste weisen dabei eine Mehrzahl von zahnartigen Vorsprünge auf, welche bis auf die Höhe der Streifenoberfläche ragen und zum Entfernen von festen Rückständen an Schuhsohlen dienen. Durch diese Ausgestaltung wird allerdings die Reinigungswirkung von normal verschmutzten Schuhsohlen sehr rasch beeinträchtigt, da diese praktisch auf den Vorsprüngen aufliegen und die durch bereits kurzen Gebrauch leicht zusammengedrückten Streifen nicht mehr wirksam auf die Schuhsohlen einwirken können.
Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung bestand nun darin, Trägerelemente der oben beschriebenen Art für die Bildung von Schmutzfangmatten dahingehend zu verbessern, dass sowohl starke wie leichte Verschmutzung zuverlässig und gründlich von den Schuhsohlen entfernt wird.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss gemäss dem Kennzeichen von Anspruch 1 gelöst. Durch die gemischte Verwendung von Scheuerflor und Borsten in demselben Trägerelement wird eine zuverlässige Reinigungswirkung sowohl von starker wie leichter Verschmutzung gewährleistet. Der Scheuerflor wird durch die zusätzliche Stützwirkung der Borstenleiste weniger zusammengedrückt, als dies bei bekannten Trägerelementen der Fall ist, welche nur einen Leistentyp einsetzen. Dadurch wird eine längere, gleichbeibendere Reinigungswirkung des Trägerelementes und damit auch der damit aufgebauten Schmutzfangmatte erzielt. Die Verwendung eines einzigen Typs als Trägerelement führt damit insbesondere zu kleineren Kostenaufwendungen bei der Herstellung von Schmutzfangmatten.
Weitere bevorzugte Ausführungsformen ergeben sich aus den Ansprüchen 2 bis 5.
Vorzugsweise sind die Höhen der Wangen über die Trägerlementlänge konstant, d.h. ohne zusätzliche Flanschen oder Einschnitte.
Durch den vorzugsweise umgekehrt T-förmigen Querschnitt der Nut wird die Befestigung der Scheuerflor- resp. Borstenleisten verbessert. Sie werden damit zusätzlich zum Befestigungsmittel, wie beispielsweise Leim, auch noch formschlüssig festgehalten und können nicht einfach ohne grossen Kraftaufwand aus der Nut herausgerissen werden.
Das bevorzugte Anbringen von zusätzlichen Rillen an der höchsten Wange verbessert die Reinigungswirkung dieser Kratzkante zusätzlich.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand von Zeichnungen noch näher erläutert. Es zeigen
  • Fig. 1 den schematischen Querschnitt eines herkömmlichen Trägerelementes;und
  • Fig. 2 den Querschnitt eines erfindungsgemässen Trägerlementes mit zwei unterschiedlichen Leisten.
    • In Figur 1 ist der Querschnitt eines herkömmlichen Trägerelementes 1 für eine Schmutzfangmatte dargestellt.
    Im oberen Bereich des Trägerelementes 1 ist eine Nut 2 vorgesehen, in welche beispielsweise eine Scheuerflorleiste resp. ein Scheuerflorstreifen 3 eingebracht ist. Dieser Scheuerflorstreifen 3 wird beispielsweise in der Nut mittels eines Leimes fixiert. Der Scheuerflor 3 ragt über die beiden Wangen des Trägerelementes 1 hinaus, und dient dazu, beim Auftreten auf die Matte Schmutz von den Schuhen zu entfernen. Der Schmutz fällt dann in den Zwischenraum von zwei benachbarten Trägerelementen 1 der Schmutzfangmatte.
    Es ist nun erfindungsgemäss vorgesehen, dass bei einem Trägerelement 1 mit mindestens zwei Nuten 2,6, wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt, sowohl Scheuerflor 3 wie auch eine Borstenreihe 7 vorgesehen sind. Dabei vermag diese Borstenreihe 7 insbesondere groben Schmutz besser abzustreifen als der Scheuerflor 3. Durch die Integration mehrerer unterschiedlicher Typen von Flor 3 resp. Borsten 7 in einem Trägerelement 1 kann auf einfache Weise eine Schmutzfangmatte mit hervorragender Reinigungsfähigkeit mittels eines einzigen Trägerlementtyps hergestellt werden. Herkömmlicherweise mussten alternierend mehrere verschiedene Trägerelemente 1 eingesetzt werden, was bei der Montage der Matte einen grösseren Aufwand und damit auch mehr Kosten verursachte.
    Vorzugsweises ist die Oberkante der Wange 5 profiliert, wodurch sich der Reinigungseffekt noch weiter verstärkt.
    Die Verbindung mehrerer erfindungsgemässer Trägerelemente zu einer Matte erfolgt nach bekannter Weise beispielsweise mittels quer zur Längsrichtung der Trägerelemente angeordneter und durch diese hindurchgeführter Drähte, wobei zwischen den Trägerelementen als Distanzhalter elastische Elemente vorgesehen sein können. Damit lassen sich auch große Matten zur Reinigung einfach aufrollen.

    Claims (5)

    1. Trägerelement (1) für Schmutzfangmatten mit wenigstens zwei Nuten (2,6) zur Aufnahme von Scheuerflor(2) oder Borstenleisten (7), wobei die Nuten (2,6) durch parallele Wangen (4,5,8) gebildet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in den Nuten zumindestens zwei unterschiedliche Leisten (3,7), nämlich mindestens eine Scheuerflorleiste (3) und eine Borstenleiste (7), angebracht sind und die Wangen (4,5,8) untereinander wenigstens teilweise unterschiedliche Höhen aufweisen, wobei die höchste Wange (5) in einem Abstand unterhalb der Trittfläche des Scheuerflors resp. der Borsten endet.
    2. Trägerelement (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jeweils die Höhen der Wangen (4,5,8) über die gesamte Trägerelementlänge konstant ist.
    3. Trägerelement (1) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass wenigstens eine Nut (2) einen T-förmigen Querschnitt aufweist.
    4. Trägerelement (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass wenigstens die höchste Wange (5) an ihrer oberen Kante rillenförmig profiliert ist.
    5. Schmutzfangmatte mit mittels elastischen Verbindungselementen verbundenen Trägerelementen (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4.
