Abstract

Die Werkzeugmaschine dient der spangebenden, allseitigen Bearbeitung von Platten aus Holz oder Holzaustauschmaterialien. Sie hat einen Spanntisch (1) und wenigstens einen darüber in dessen Längs- und Querrichtung verfahrbaren Support (6), an dem eine Sägevorrichtung mit einem Dreh- und einem Schwenkantrieb für das Sägeblatt angeordnet ist. Um hiermit von großformatigen Platten (14) jeweils zu bearbeitende Plattenabschnitte (16) abtrennen zu können, ist in Querrichtung vor dem Spanntisch (1) eine damit niveaugleiche Auflagervorrichtung (11) angeordnet. Die Auflagervorrichtung (11) hat Wälzkörper oder Gleiteinrichtungen (13) an ihrer Oberseite, um darauf eine großformatige Platte (14) anordnen zu können, die zum Überführen eines abzutrennden Abschnittes (16) auf den Spanntisch (1) auf der Maschine sowie zum Rückführen der Restplatte (17) auf die Auflagervorrichtung (11) verschoben werden kann.
