Definitions
- the invention relates to a scrubbing roller for a Scrubbing machine that is driven to rotate about an axis of rotation can be stored on the mobile scrubbing machine, with a bearing shaft and with a rotationally fixed with this connected roller body from a dimensionally stabilized Tangle of fibers.
- Such scrubbing rollers are used for polishing of hard surfaces, and it is known as a polishing Material so-called shape-stabilized fibers use.
- This connection can, for example are done by heat treatment and resulting Welding, by coating the fibers with others Plastics that then bond together, So by gluing or partly by the tangled arrangement of the fibers themselves have proven themselves as a buff, however leads the relatively loose consistency of these fibers that there are difficulties in storage.
- This task is the beginning of a scrubbing roller described type according to the invention solved in that the bearing shaft has a non-circular cross-section and that the roller body is arranged directly in the tangle of fibers central breakthrough that is complementary is formed to the cross section of the bearing shaft.
- the shape-stabilized fiber tangle is able without any additional auxiliary constructions the torques to be taken up by a bearing shaft if between the bearing shaft on the one hand and the roller body from one shape-stabilized tangle of fibers on the other hand positive connection is established, in which the Bearing shaft with a non-circular cross-section a complementary Opening in the roller body completely filled.
- the Bearing shaft with a non-circular cross-section a complementary Opening in the roller body completely filled.
- the roller body is designed from the shape-stabilized Tangle not just a reliable one Slewing ring, but also a stabilization because the core and also the protruding ones that dip into the slots Last act like a skeleton.
- the bearing shaft itself is hollow trained and form-fitting with an inserted into it driveably mounted on the scrubbing machine Drive shaft is connected. This makes it possible the bearing shaft in the axial direction from the drive shaft deduct so that this peeled scrubbing roller then be converted outside the scrubbing machine can, for example by pulling off the roller body from the bearing shaft and by plugging in a new one Roller body.
- the roller body from a variety of disc-shaped individual elements is built, each consist only of a dimensionally stabilized tangle of fibers and a corresponding central breakthrough exhibit.
- Such an embodiment has the advantage that these disc-shaped individual elements over the length the bearing shaft can be selected differently, that is, it is possible the polishing properties to design individually over the length of the roller body.
- possible different wear and tear balanced over the length of the roller body by simply replacing individual elements. This exchange is in the simplest way possible that the disc-shaped individual elements in succession pushed onto the bearing shaft in the axial direction will.
- that parts of the bearing shaft at least in the radial direction extend up to half the radius of the roller body. This will take away and also improves the stabilizing function of the bearing shaft, despite the deformability and compressibility of the This gives you a tangled material stable scrubbing roller, which has the desired on its outer surface Deformability, which is an optimal system guaranteed on the surface to be cleaned.
- the scrubbing machine shown in Figure 1 is strong simplified and has only the elements that are fundamental are necessary to create a hard surface with a Edit scrubbing roller.
- This scrubbing machine 1 comprises a housing 2 with wheels 3 at its rear end and a scrubbing roller 4 at front end.
- This scrubbing roller 4 is horizontal Axle is rotatably mounted on the housing 2 and is set in rotation by a suitable drive, for example by the one shown in the drawing Electric motor 5.
- a suitable drive can also by Movement of the scrubbing machine itself are generated, the scrubbing machine 1 can be moved using a handle 6 are driven over the surface to be cleaned, whereby the housing 2 on the one hand by the wheels 3 and on the other hand is carried by the scrubbing roller 4.
- the scrubbing roller 4 is held on a drive shaft 7, which in turn is rotatably mounted in the housing 2 and rotatably in the illustrated embodiment with a pulley 8 is connected.
- a drive belt 9 which has a corresponding Rope pulley 10 guided on the electric motor 5 is.
- the drive shaft 7 has in the illustrated embodiment a hexagonal cross section with on the individual surfaces radially projecting strips 11, and this Cross-section corresponds completely to the inner cross-section a hollow bearing shaft 12 which in the axial direction the drive shaft 7 is pushed on.
- This bearing shaft 12 forms part of the scrubbing roller 4, on the outside it has a circular cross section with radially protruding strips 13, so that a essential star-shaped cross section results.
- the disc-shaped individual elements 14 consist of a shape-stabilized fiber tangle, that is, from one Multitude of tangled fibers, enclose the cavities between them and the at least partially connected at the points of contact are, so that a stabilization of this confusion becomes.
- Such material is simple Can be made in the form of plates, and the disc-shaped Individual elements 14 are made from such plates produced a punching process in which the outer contour and the contour of the central opening 15 is formed will.
- a variety of such individual elements 14 are on the Bearing shaft 12 pushed so that they face lie close together and together a continuous Form roller body 18 of the entire bearing shaft 12 surrounds outside.
- snap rings 19 are used in the circumferential grooves 20 at the ends the bearing shaft 12 are used. So it is without further possible after loosening such a snap ring 19 the disc-shaped individual elements 14 again push off the bearing shaft 12 and either in another To postpone or replace the sequence again.
- the roller body 18 from a variety of disc-shaped Individual elements 14 formed, in principle it would be but also possible, this roller body 18 as a continuous form cylindrical roller or him from two or putting together more rolls means with others Words, the height of the disc-shaped individual elements 14 can vary over a wide range up to the maximum Length of the bearing shaft 12.
- the diameter of the central opening 15 is relative large, it can be circular, for example Part 16 40 to 50% of the radius of the disc-shaped individual elements 14, the slots 17 can be in extend in the radial direction so that they for example at a distance from the center of the Opening 15 ends up to 70% of the radius of the Individual element 14 is.
- This will take the turning improved, this also results in a skeletal Stiffening of the roller body 18, the self consists exclusively of the dimensionally stable tangle of fibers and thus flexible and compressible to a certain extent remains.
