Definitions

  • the invention relates to a parasol with the features of Preamble of claim 1.
  • Such an umbrella is known from the document EP-A-0 387 965.
  • EP-A-0 387 965 describes an umbrella which has a pull rope which also extends from the umbrella crown extends a boom to a pivot point on the umbrella mast. From there, by moving it up and down Articulation point operated the pull rope. For this up and down movement is the articulation point with a guided in the umbrella mast Slider connected by a crank driven Endless rope is moved. By self-locking this The canopy in the open position being held. To enable the umbrella to be closed, without the umbrella rod protruding from the umbrella mast, too with this umbrella in the area of the umbrella crown and self-releasing joint in the area of the umbrella crown required. In addition, the open canopy can only in horizontal alignment.
  • the invention has for its object one in the inclination to find a screen that can be variably adjusted, which with a simple construction is also easy as a large umbrella can be opened from a position on the edge of the canopy and the secure mounting of the canopy in different Positions enabled.
  • the parasol has an umbrella roof 1, which is known per se Wise numerous radially from a screen crown 2 has roof bars 3, 3 'which extend through the Spreader bars 4, 4 'of a spreading device 5 in a spread-out position Be held in position.
  • the forces become free Holding the canopy 1 laterally from a holding arm executed roof rod 3 'added and over their associated Spreader rod 4 'on the shaft 8 of the spreader 5 and from this to the other spreader bars 4 and roof bars 4 transfer.
  • the roof rod 3 'and the spreader bar 4' made stronger or thicker than the rest, in the circumferential direction of the umbrella roof 1 arranged roof bars 3 and spreader bars 4.
  • the canopy 1 is attached at the outer end of the roof rod 3 'running below the canopy 1 a provided on a holding device 9 joint 10.
  • the holding device 9 is in a displaceable Intervention with an as a mast 6 or as not shown, vertical running guide.
  • the one that serves as a holding arm can Roof rod 3 'thus by lowering the holding device 9 after be pivoted up against the mast 6, so that after folding the canopy 1 with this a compact structure similar to the representation in Fig.2. This can be from be wrapped in an umbrella cover, not shown.
  • a holding device 17 For a more resilient that is also suitable for large umbrellas Bracket and simple operation of the canopy 1 is this held in two places by spacing on the canopy 1 from the joint 10 a holding device 17 via a second Joint 11 attacks.
  • This holding joint preferably extends 11 attacks.
  • This holding device preferably extends 17 from above, so instead of a strut 17 too a tether could be provided.
  • the invention is the opening of the canopy 1 with the help of a rope 12 or by means of a band or a chain.
  • the rope 12 is at one end below the displaceable holding device 9 on the umbrella mast 6 on the Position 13 attached and runs over a e.g. executed as a role Deflection point on the joint 10 of the holding device 9 the roof rod 3 'or to a holding arm 7 according to FIGS. 2 to 10 and along these to the umbrella crown 2 as it best looks 8 and 10 can be seen.
  • On the umbrella crown 2 it has Rope 12 through a roller 15 and a second deflection point then through the shaft 8 of the expansion device 5, where it is attached to the lower end of the shaft sleeve 16.
  • the holding device 9 is moved upwards, e.g. of Hand on the handle 19 or by means of mechanical known per se Tools, e.g. by means of a not shown Crank drive.
  • This increases the distance between the rope attachment point 13 and the holding device 9 or the spreading device 5, so that a tensile force arises on the rope 12, through which the shaft sleeve 16 of the expansion device 5 according to the representations of Figures 8 and 9 against the shaft 8 is pulled and the canopy 1, starting from the position according to Fig. 2 via the position according to Fig. 4 to the position can spread according to Fig. 5.
  • the fully spread position is provided by latching one on the shaft 8 Pawl 20 secured in a recess 21 of the shaft sleeve 16.
  • the pawl 20 can be folded in by pressing in move the screen out of the recess.
  • the path of the rope 12 from the attachment point 13 on Mast 6 to the spreading device 5 can run differently, there is a tension on the rope 12 due to the upward movement of the joint 10 with different arrangement of the deflection points is guaranteed.
  • the rope 12 could include also be guided along the holding strut 17. But it could also via a deflection point on the upper holding device24 directly run to the spreading device 5.
  • the screen can be moved by a simple sliding movement on the handle 19 by opening the canopy 1 through it its edge or on the hinge 10 in the direction of the opening movement the roof rod 3 'is raised and at the same time the the resulting tension on the rope 12 the spreading device 5 operated.
  • the holding device 9 and preferably also second holding device 24 of the holding strut 17 similar to a sleeve body 26, 27 guided on the umbrella mast 6. on which there are mounting tabs 28, 29 for the mounting an axle 30.31 for the pivotable mounting of the roof rod 3 'or the holding arm 7 and the holding strut 17 are.
  • the locking is done by a hand actuating pawl 32.33 and numerous, row-shaped on Umbrella mast 6 arranged locking holes 25, which are visible in Fig.7 are.
  • both the inclination of the canopy 1 and its Height position through the sliding version of the Holding device 24 can be changed.
  • FIG. 2 to 10 shows that the holding arm 7 not according to the embodiment of Fig.1 be designed as a reinforced and elongated roof rod 3 ' must, but can also run alongside her by being with her through at least one tab 35 to a functional unit is firmly connected.
  • a common, same orientation between the holding arm 7 and the roof rod 3 to a functional Unity is achieved by both in the area between the Umbrella crown 2 and the joint 10 at at least two connection points 35 are coupled together.
  • FIG. 7 shows that the same Umbrella mast 6 several, for example four, in the circumferential direction Canopies 1 can be kept.
  • the shape of the canopy can differ from the usual, approximately circular shape, also have other shapes by the roof poles 3 are of different lengths.
  • a length-adjustable floor support 37 is attached so that the canopy 1 on the holding arm 7 opposite side is supported. You can do this as needed, e.g. when wind forces occur, the floor supports 37 can be folded out via a joint 38 and be extended telescopically to anchors (not shown) hooked in and by tightening a clamping screw the column guide 39 to be fixed.
  • the canopy 1 is through two holding arms 7, 7 'forming a parallelogram are held by these with their ends at a distance from each other on the one hand Holding device 9 and on the other hand directly or indirectly on the Shaft 8 of the spreading device 5 are articulated. Since the between the support arms 7 and 7 ', unreinforced roof rod 3 in several places with the upper holding arm 7 is connected, the upper holding arm 7 does not need its own articulation have on the shaft 8 of the expansion device, since the abutting against it Roof rod 3 is articulated there and thus the articulation of the upper arm 7 takes over.
  • the cable 12 can also at a distance from the screen axis via a deflection point the reinforced roof rod 3 'to the reinforced spreader bar 4' to lead.
