- einen Längsschnitt durch ein erfindungsgemäßes Zylinderkurbelgehäuse normal zur Hochachse einer mehrzylindrigen Brennkraftmaschine, wobei seitlich an dem Zylindergehäuse ein Wasserkasten angegossen ist, in dem ein Ölkühler integriert ist,

Am geodätisch oberen Ende des Abschnittes 28 befindet sich eine Durchtrittsöffnung 28a zu Kühlwasserkanälen im Zylinderkopf.
Claims (6)
- Zylinderkurbelgehäuse einer mehrzylindrigen Brennkraftmaschine, deren Zylinder durch Zylinderwände gebildet sind, die von einem sich mindestens teilweise um einem äußeren Umkreis der Zylinderwände erstreckenden Kühlwassermantel umgeben sind, der durch mindestens eine Kühlwassermantelwand und den Zylinderwänden gebildet ist sowie mit einem Schmierölkreislauf, der einen seitlich am Zylinderkurbelgehäuse angeordneten Ölkühler umfaßt, wobei seitlich am Zylinderkurbelgehäuse ein Wasserkasten angegossen ist, in den der Ölkühler integriert ist und der Öffnungen zum Kühlwassermantel hat, die zur strömungsmäßigen Verbindung von Kühlwassermantel und Wasserkasten dienen, wobei ein Abschnitt der Kühlwassermantelwand gleichzeitig eine zylinderseitige Begrenzung des Wasserkastens bildet,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Kühlwassermantel (7) in einem den Wasserkasten (9) begrenzenden Abschnitt (22) der Kühlwassermantelwand (10) in Richtung einer Hochachse (2b,3b) der Zylinder (2,3) und in Motorlängsrichtung (6) von einer Oberseite (37) des Zylinderkurbelgehäuses (1) bis unterhalb des Wasserkastens (9) und im wesentlichen durchgehend verläuft und wobei an einer Stirnseite (30) des Zylinderkurbelgehäuses (1) für das Kühlwasser eine dem Wasserkasten (9) zugeordnete erste Eintrittsöffnung (31) und eine dem Kühlwassermantel (7) zugeordnete zweite Eintrittsöffnung (32) angeordnet ist, wobei die Öffnungen (23) des Wasserkastens (9) zum Kühlwassermantel (7) in dem den Wasserkasten (9) begrenzenden Abschnitt (22) der Kühlwassermantelwand (10) angeordnet sind, wobei das Kühlwasser im Wasserkasten (9) als auch im Kühlwassermantel (7) im wesentlichen in Richtung der Motorlängsachse(6) des Zylinderkurbelgehäuses (1) strömt und längs der Öffnungen (23) in der Kühlwassermantelwand (10) eine gewisse Vermischung der beiden Strömungen stattfindet und zur strömungsmäßigen Verbindung gegenüberliegender Abschnitte(27,28) des Kühlwassermantels (7) zwischen benachbarten Zylinderwänden (2',3';3',4';4',5') in Motorquerrichtung Kühlwasserkanäle (24-26) angeordnet sind. - Zylinderkurbelgehäuse nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß an dem den Wasserkasten (9) begrenzenden Abschnitt (22) der Kühlwassermantelwand (10) Versteifungen für Schraubenpfeifen (29) zur Schraubenanbindung eines Zylinderkopfes angeformt sind. - Zylinderkurbelgehäuse nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß mindestens der Kühlwassermantel (7) und der Wasserkasten (9) einen einheitlichen Gesamtwasserkern bilden, der als einstückiger Gießkern herstellbar ist. - Zylinderkurbelgehäuse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Ölkühler (8) an einem Deckel (33) des Wasserkastens (9) befestigt ist, wobei die Anschlüsse zur Zuführung des zu kühlenden und zur Abführung des gekühlten Schmieröls an dem Deckel (33) angeordnet sind. - Zylinderkurbelgehäuse nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Ölkühler (8) mit dem Deckel (33) des Wasserkastens (9) montierbar und demontierbar ist. - Zylinderkurbelgehäuse nach Anspruch 1 oder 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das umschlossene Volumen von Wasserkasten (9), Kühlwassermantel (7) und Kühlwasserkanälen (24-26) einen Gesamtwasserkern bilden, der durch einen einteiligen Gießkern darstellbar ist.
