Definitions
- the invention relates to devices for targeted Influencing the longitudinal curvature of an alpine ski according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- Skis for alpine skiing are made so that they in the middle area where the ski binding is mounted, are convex. This longitudinal curvature disappears below the influence of the weight of the skier, at the same time ski tip and ski end with appropriate forces pressed the snow. This ensures that the ski gets good contact with the snow, keeps the track well, when Driving doesn't flutter, etc.
- this convex longitudinal curvature also has disadvantages. she hinders the turning of the ski. The skier must - if necessary, by means of active high or low relief Support turning the skis. Use trick skiers prefers short skis with low longitudinal curvature. These skis however, have poor straight-line stability.
- the present invention has for its object a specify the simplest possible device, with the help the skier straightens his ski while driving consciously from the original convex shape to one more or less concave shape.
- the skier can a measured shift of his weight onto the power arm the part of the alpine ski with which the load arm of the lever is connected, specifically bend, even a concave Longitudinal curvature is achievable.
- the lever according to the invention is can be retrofitted on every alpine ski. He can respond to each Shoe size can be adjusted individually. By change The length of the power arm allows the skier's weight and the elasticity of the ski.
- One with two Lever equipped alpine skis according to the invention can be turned much more sensitively, without that in the Swing control phase necessary edge grip and the dynamics get lost. The skier can achieve this by that when he turned his weight towards the ski tip shifted so that the tip of his ski boot puts pressure on the Force arm of the front lever exerts, whereupon its load arm the ski tip pulls up.
- Equipped alpine skis already when edging over a light concave deflection that supports easy turning ensures that the ski below the Binding where it makes the most sense and most important about has a very good edge grip, like that for driving on ice is absolutely necessary.
- Weight shifts after the front and rear are leveraged on the Alpine skiing transferred so that this is easy in any situation and can be mastered with little effort.
- Ski racers can also use the present invention benefit a lot. If the racer drives with edged Skis and high speed through a curve, so be Centrifugal forces generated its effective weight increase significantly. This creates additional forces exerted both levers, whereupon ski tip and ski end are pulled upwards accordingly and the alpine ski the optimal concave for driving on tight curves Longitudinal curvature preserved. This effect is also with little tailored skis effective.
- These known devices have in primarily the task of releasing the bond to guarantee a fall and to prevent the Ski boot touches the snow while edging the skis.
- these known devices intend the intermediate plate, because of the safe triggering of the Ski binding in case of falls etc. must be rigid, from the ski too decouple so that it has its natural elasticity can keep.
- the device intends in the third line according to DE-A-41 00 327 furthermore, the points at which the Transfer forces between skiers or ski bindings and skis will position regardless of shoe size can.
- levers according to the invention also are suitable, this distance between ski binding and ski to manufacture. According to a preferred embodiment of the Invention is therefore the corresponding part of the ski binding directly attached to the lever arm.
- the ski binding is attached with, for example Screws on prefabricated holes.
- it is also an integration of the lever in the ski binding or in the Alpine skiing possible.
- This spring is preferably made of an elastic Material block of suitable hardness, especially made of plastic or rubber, realized the space between Low-power and alpine skis completely filled, so that ice and snow cannot penetrate here and block the power arm.
- Another development of the invention sees one Height stop in front of a movement of the power arm from Alpine skiing is limited away.
- This stop serves the Improve driving safety by preventing with an extreme weight shift, for example after behind the tip of the ski boot the power arm of the front Lever pulls up, whereupon the ski tip strongly pressed down into the snow or the triggering behavior of the Ski binding would be delayed.
- the middle area 4, where the Ski binding is mounted, has a convex longitudinal curvature.
- Fig. 2 shows the alpine ski of Fig. 1, loaded with the Weight G of a skier. The middle area 4 is now stretched. Ski tip and ski end press with the force K1 or K2 on the pad.
- Fig. 3 shows the alpine ski of Fig. 2, but with two additionally mounted, stiff levers 10 with power arm 11 and Load arm 12.
- the power arms 11 are positioned so that they of the heel or tip of a ski boot (not shown) can be burdened.
- the load arms 12 are fixed to the Alpine ski 1 connected.
- the power arm is 11 of the lever 10 assigned to the ski end 3 with the larger one Partial weight Gh, the power arm 11 of the ski tip 2 assigned lever 10 with the smaller partial weight Gv charged.
- This weight distribution results for example, that a skier (not shown) his body weight shifted backwards.
- the Partial weight Gh presses on the power arm 11 of the lever 10 below.
- the load arm 12 of the rigid lever 10 and with it the ski end 3 swung up. At the end of the ski 3 acts an upward force K2 '.
- the alpine ski 1 is essentially concave Longitudinal curvature. It can be turned easily. With a concave Arched and edged alpine skis can take tight turns drive.
- both levers 10 are additionally loaded, whereupon the Alpinski 1 receives a reinforced concave longitudinal curvature that optimally supports cornering. Once the skier flatten the ski 1 again, they disappear Additional forces and the Ski 1 gets its usual again Characteristics.
- Fig. 4 shows a first embodiment of the lever 10 an excerpted alpine ski 1.
- the load arms 12 of the two rigid levers 10 are with the help of four screws 15 screwed to the ski 1.
- Above the two levers 10 is a conventional one Ski binding 30.1, 30.2 positioned and with the help of Screws 35 screwed to the ski 1.
- the screws 35 are non-contact through enlarged openings 16 in the Lever 10 inserted.
- a ski boot 7 with heel 8 and toe 9 is between the Holding plates 32, 34 and the holding jaws 31, 33 of the Ski binding 30.1, 30.2 fixed.
- the force arms 11 of the two levers 10 are positioned that a skier by heel 8 or toe 9 of the Ski boots 7 can put pressure on them, leading to change of the corresponding ski part.
- Fig. 4 also shows two examples of devices with whose help the deflection of the power arms 11 of the levers 10 and thus the measure of the maximum possible concave longitudinal curvature of the ski 1 can be limited.
- Under the power arm 11 of the lever 10 shown on the left in the figure is a Stop block 13 mounted, the movement of the power arm 11th limited to the height of the gap S.
- the stop block 13 can also be mounted on the ski 1.
- the power arm 11 of the lever shown on the right in the figure 10 is equipped on its underside with a wedge 14, which encloses an angle alpha to the top edge of the ski. Of the Power arm 11 can only be moved until wedge 14 lies flat on the ski 1.
- FIG. 4 shows that the load arms 12 the lever 10 facing the ski 1 at its free end Have recess that with an elastic material 17th is filled out.
- the elastic layer 17 enables this Ski springs when driving, even when using long levers 10, due to correspondingly long ski bindings 30.1, 30.2, and prevents the ingress of ice and Snow.
- Fig. 5 shows an alternative attachment option for a lever 10 '.
- a C-rail 40 mounted, in which the load arm 12 of the lever 10 'in Longitudinal ski direction adjusted and with the help of a stop 41 can be set.
- Fig. 6 again shows a section Alpine skiing, in which the ski binding 30.1, 30.2 on the lever 10 is mounted.
- the load arms 12 are with screws 15 on the Ski attached, but here with a thin intermediate layer 19, with the help of any unevenness is compensated can.
- the gap between the power arms 11 and the ski 1 is with an insert 18, in particular made of plastic or rubber, filled out.
- an insert 18 acts also as a spring and thus compensates for the basic weight of one Skier at least partially. This is the Shore hardness the insert 18 according to the weight of the skier select. This ensures that when the Skiers weight evenly on the front and the rear lever 10 divides the power arms 11 in their Remain the basic position and the Ski 1 its normal Retains properties.
- a height stop 20 here in the form a correspondingly deep screw.
- FIG. 7 shows a modified embodiment of a ski 1'.
- the load arm of the lever 10 ' is in the ski 1 'integrated.
- the power arm 11 carries prepared bores 21, optionally with thread, for easy attachment a ski binding.
- the invention applies to all types of Alpine skis.
