Claims (11)

  1. Dispositif d'excavation pour construire, refaire, renforcer ou restaurer une partie quelconque de la base d'un tunnel, de manière à réaliser une arche renversée (18) ou une structure à piliers d'appui conçue pour supporter le tunnel et dimensionnée de manière appropriée en fonction de la section du tunnel (11), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) entraíné par un moyen d'entraínement (16) et retenu de manière à accomplir un mouvement combiné :
    d'oscillation autour d'un axe sensiblement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal du tunnel ;
    de glissement dans une direction perpendiculaire audit axe ; et
    de translation horizontale transversale avec ledit axe d'oscillation, le long d'un moyen de guidage horizontal (10) s'étendant transversalement dans le tunnel (11).
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il est monté sur un moyen de transport (13) déplaçable dans la direction longitudinale du tunnel.
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) est monté à glissement dans un plan vertical sensiblement transversal à un moyen de guidage (15) oscillant autour d'un axe d'oscillation sensiblement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal du tunnel, ledit axe d'oscillation faisant partie d'un chariot (14) pouvant glisser le long dudit moyen de guidage horizontal (10).
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la longueur dudit moyen de guidage horizontal (10) est telle qu'il s'étend sensiblement sur toute la largeur du tunnel (11).
  5. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite longueur dudit moyen de guidage horizontal (10) est telle qu'il s'étend sur une fraction de la largeur totale du tunnel (11).
  6. Procédé d'excavation utilisant un moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes de :
    a) positionnement du moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) à proximité du pied du tunnel (11) ;
    b) excavation du pied du tunnel en avançant ledit moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) dans le sol vers le bas et vers l'extérieur du tunnel ;
    c) translation dudit moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) dans une direction sensiblement horizontale, dans la largeur de la base du tunnel, réalisant l'une desdites tranchées de base transversales (17) ;
    d) décalage longitudinal dudit moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) d'une distance prédéterminée ; et
    e) répétition cyclique des étapes (a) à (d) pour réaliser une série de tranchées (17) pour une série correspondante de poutres de niveau formant ladite structure d'arche renversée (18) adaptée à la section du tunnel (11).
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que ladite étape (b) comprend l'étape de :
       b1) oscillation dudit moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) autour d'un axe sensiblement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal du tunnel pour créer des zones plus grandes (17a) au pied du tunnel (11) pour lesdits piliers d'appui.
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que ladite étape (d) réalise le décalage du moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) d'une distance minimale, de manière à former une arche renversée continue (18) ou une structure à piliers d'appui.
  9. Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que ladite étape (d) réalise un décalage du moyen excavateur de tranchée (20) d'une distance appropriée, de manière à former une arche renversée simple (18) ou une structure à piliers d'appui.
  10. Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que ladite étape (c) réalise une translation transversale sensiblement d'un côté à l'autre du tunnel.
  11. Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que ladite étape (c) comprend les étapes supplémentaires de :
    c1) translation transversale dans la largeur d'une partie du tunnel, pour former une première demi-tranchée de base ;
    c2) coulée de béton dans ladite demi-tranchée de manière à former une poutre de demi-niveau ;
    c3) translation transversale dans la largeur restante du tunnel, pour terminer la tranchée de base ; et
    c4) coulée de béton pour achever la poutre de niveau.
