Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a dormer for building roofs with at least one window or door Front wall, as well as a dormer roof and / or opposite Sidewalls.
  • Such a conventional dormer window is therefore more individual Manufacturing built on the building roof, which on the one hand not the accuracy of a workshop production on the other hand, the manufacturing time is inflexible and is relatively long. This usually leads to a delay the roofing of the building and beyond increased construction costs.
  • FR-A-2 683 565 is a multi-part dormer with all-round Known frames on the front and side walls can be mounted on the roof as a kit.
  • the present invention is based on the object to create a dormer window that is lightweight and using Pre-tested elements can be manufactured and in particular pre-assembled is and with high variability in design optimal use of space and light guaranteed.
  • the solution according to the invention makes it more advantageous Ice possible for the first time, the front wall, the dormer roof as well to assemble the side walls in a modular manner, so that a Combination of different versions of the Front wall, the dormer roof and the side walls an individualization the dormer can be achieved without the vertical integration enlarge too much.
  • the individual elements namely the front wall, the dormer roof and the side walls
  • Window elements their frame profiles directly and precisely are joined together, can be used, or it can in terms of stability, moisture protection, sound and Thermal insulation on the constructive experiences and design rules can be used from window construction.
  • the entire dormer can be pre-assembled in a lightweight design and placed on the prepared roof as a pre-assembled unit and be incorporated into the roof, reducing manufacturing costs significantly reduced with elegant optical design can be.
  • By building the dormer window-like Frame profiles can be made on the conventional solid Transoms and posts are dispensed with, so that the incidence of light in the room behind the dormer is increased because there are no posts and transoms acting like panels hinder the incidence of light.
  • the frame of the side wall is folded out and into it Rebate at least one side element used. This can fundamentally lead to individuality the dormer through various side elements on the other hand, it allows the appearance the dormer window according to the wishes of a homeowner easy to change afterwards.
  • the conventional one Cladding is no longer required.
  • the surrounding frame of the front wall is also rebated, whereby a turn / tilt window or a turn / tilt door in this rebate intervenes.
  • the surrounding frame of the front wall is accordingly directly the window or door frame, the window or door opening maximum in relation to the total width of the dormer is. On the one hand, this means that the material is used optimally also ensures the highest possible incidence of light in the dormer window.
  • the sections of the surrounding frame of the front wall, of the dormer roof and the side wall form a circumferential, delimiting the dormer Dormer frame, which for modular assembly of the complete Roof dormer placed on rafters of the building roof with a perfect fit and is anchored to it.
  • This makes it possible to manufacture the roof dormer in the workshop and completely assemble and then put on the roof as a whole and anchor there.
  • This provides the basic Advantages that both a high quality standard in manufacturing reached as well as the time required for the establishment of the Dormer window on the building roof is necessary and the roofing of the building roof can be delayed, shortened. About that it is also reduced in the event of subsequent installation the pollution of the house residents considerably.
