Definitions
- the water outlet openings on hose-like Form nozzle approaches that over the outer surface protrude from the shower base by a certain distance.
- the hose-like nozzle attachments are made of an elastomer Made of material and can be painted over manually be mechanically tumbled so that the on the lateral surfaces the nozzle channels, especially in the area of the water outlet openings, deposited layers of lime are blown off become. The water flow through the water outlet openings the shower base is then free again.
- the object of the present invention is a shower base of the type mentioned at the beginning, that a visually calm shower base is created, no more lightly polluting depressions has its outer surface.
- the present invention chooses another path: the Nozzle approaches assume an uninterrupted, smooth and not with recessed outer surface of the shower base off, penetrate at a radial distance inside, bores of the shower base, then inside the body of the shower head to end.
- the invention thus recognizes for the first time that walking is possible even if the hand of the User is not immediately at the free ends of the attacks hose-like nozzle approaches. Rather, it is enough if by pressing on the one connected to the shower base "Basis" of the hose-like nozzle attachments is a deformation the walls of the nozzle channels passing through the nozzle attachments is achieved.
- the effect of manual walking can be used of aids such as of sponges or terry towels, still improve.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention draws is characterized by the fact that a free annulus surrounded nozzle tips at their inner end by one radially guided component rigidly connected to the housing are. This allows a greater deformation of the nozzle attachments when walking than in cases where the inner end of the nozzle attachments remains free.
- the design of a multi-function shower is advantageous, in which the component rigidly connected to the housing is a partition that in the interior of the housing divided two water spaces, the partition one Has a plurality of through holes, each with a nozzle channel passing through a nozzle attachment communicate.
- the one with a multi-function shower anyway In this case, the required partition is also taken over the holding function for the inner ends of the nozzle attachments.
- All nozzle attachments can be made in one piece on a nozzle plate be molded together with a perforated plate rigid material forms the shower base and runs along the outer surface of the perforated plate extends such that the Outer surface of the nozzle plate simultaneously the outer surface of the shower base.
- the one made of elastic material Nozzle plate forms a shock protection for the shower base.
- each nozzle attachment can be an integral part of a Be nozzle insert, which also has an annular flange Has area, each nozzle insert in a through hole a perforated plate made of rigid material, the Diameter with the outer diameter of the ring flange Area matches, is inserted so that perforated plate and nozzle inserts together form a shower base, whose smooth, continuous outer surface partly from the Outer surface of the perforated plate and partly from the outer surfaces the nozzle inserts are formed.
- each nozzle attachment is surrounded by a free annulus from one piece to the nozzle plate or to the Molded cylindrical retaining collar surrounded nozzle insert is the one with its outer surface on the wall the associated through hole of the perforated plate rests, are rigid nozzle plate or the nozzle inserts Perforated plate anchored particularly well; the nozzle lugs are centered cleanly in the annuli.
- the nozzle attachments can with on its outer surface one or more reinforcing ribs are provided. This allows the deformation behavior of the nozzle attachments change as needed, so the lime-cracking To optimize the effect of manual walking.
- Manufacturing is particularly simple if the nozzle plate or the nozzle inserts in two-component technology are injection molded onto the perforated plate.
- the nozzle plate is releasably attached to the perforated plate from the outside.
- the nozzle plate can also be used if necessary detach from the shower base if, in extreme cases, flexing by hand should no longer suffice for cleaning.
- the free annular spaces communicate with one of the water spaces and are also via ring segment-shaped openings with the outer surface connected to the shower base.
- a multi-part shower base referred to the lower in a conventional manner Completion of a bell-shaped housing, not shown forms. He is generally circular and goes to his Outer circumference - in one piece or via a detachable connection - in the housing of the shower head.
- the shower base 1 comprises a perforated plate 1 a out of proportion rigid material that is in concentric circles its central axis has several sets of through holes having.
- Figure 1 shows such a hole 3 or 4 of two such sentences.
- the through holes to be thought radially further out 3 of the perforated plate 1a have a slightly larger diameter, while the radially inner through holes 2 have a slightly smaller diameter. In the sense of different diameters discussed below.
- the shower base 1 also comprises a nozzle plate which the reference symbol 1b.
- the nozzle plate 1b consists of an elastomeric, deformable plastic and is in Two-component technology directly on the perforated plate injected la.
- the Nozzle plate 1b is a substantially flat base plate 9, which extends along the underside of the perforated plate 1a preferably extends to the outer edge.
- To the Base plate 9 of the nozzle plate 1b are concentric the sets of through holes 3, 2 in the perforated plate 1a injected cylindrical nozzle lugs 10, 11, which through the corresponding holes 2, 3 of the perforated plate 1a extend into the interior of the shower head.
- the through holes 2 of smaller diameter assigned nozzle attachments 10 have one Outside diameter that they are in the immediate area located on the through holes 2 of the perforated plate 1a; they can touch the wall with their outer surface the through holes 2 are injection molded.
- the nozzle attachments 10 are each from a cylindrical nozzle channel 12 penetrates, that is over its entire axial Has the same diameter throughout.
- the axial The length of the nozzle attachments 10 is such that they are only slight protrude beyond the inner end face of the perforated plate 1.
- Nozzle lugs 11 of the nozzle plate 1b have an outer diameter on that is significantly smaller than the diameter the through holes 3. In this way it is created between the outer surface of the nozzle lugs 11 and the wall of the through holes 3 a free Annulus 13.
- an insert-like partition 4 is shown as the second of the two components of the shower head mentioned, which extends essentially parallel to the perforated plate 1 through the housing of the shower head and divides it into two water spaces.
- One of these water spaces is between the partition 4 and the perforated plate 1; the other of these water spaces is above the partition 4, between this and the bell-shaped housing of the shower head.
- the two water spaces can optionally be connected via a diverter valve, not shown, to the water supply channel, which in the case of a hand shower generally leads through the handle.
- the partition 4 contains coaxial to the through holes 3 larger diameter in the perforated plate 1a own Through bores 5 facing the perforated plate 1a End 6 have an extension.
- the extension 6 of the through holes 5 is each one formed on the intermediate wall 4 cylindrical support collar 7 surrounded.
- the axial length of the nozzle lugs 11 of the nozzle plate 1b is dimensioned so that the inner, free ends of the nozzle lugs 11 in the corresponding extensions 6 of the through holes 5 reach the partition 4 so that they surrounded by the cylindrical support collar 7 and radially are held or led.
- the seal between the Nozzle approaches 11 and the partition 4 can optionally radially, that is between the cylindrical surfaces of the Nozzle attachment 11 and the collar-shaped extension 7 or axially, that is between the end face of the nozzle attachment 11 and the step between the through hole 5 and the extension 6 in the partition 4.
- the nozzle channel 14 which the nozzle lugs 11 axially interspersed, points in the partition 4 adjacent Area initially the same diameter as the through holes 5 of the partition 4 on, tapers but conical in the outwardly softening area, so that the outlet opening 15 of the nozzle channel 14 a has a smaller diameter than the through holes 5 in the partition 4.
- Through the tapered Area of the nozzle channel 14 experience the here a stream of water flowing through a focus and acceleration, so that they come out of the shower as a so-called Exit "hard blasting".
- the changeover valve If the corresponding position of the changeover valve above the partition 4 water room with the water supply channel is connected, the flowing water occurs through the through holes 5 of the partition 4 and the Nozzle channels 14 of the nozzle attachments 11 of the nozzle plate 1b through and as hard blasting from the outlet openings 15 of the shower head. If, on the other hand, the changeover valve is so is operated that the water in between the partition 4 and the perforated plate 1a lying water space occurs, so flows through the nozzle channels 12 of the nozzle attachments 10 the nozzle plate 1b; from the outlet openings 23 of the nozzle channels 12 occur because of its relatively large diameter relatively slow water jets from that are called "soft blasting" in technical terminology. As a rule, the "soft blasting" before the exit 1 air mixed in from the shower base.
- the type of deformation of the inner wall the nozzle channels 14 can depend on the geometry and choice of material be different: it can be a Deflection with respect to the axis of the nozzle channels 14 in order a flattening of the cross-sectional shape of the nozzle channels 14 e.g. B. from a circle to an ellipse or around a Act combination of different types of deformation. Details of the type of deformation can be found in the Drawing not shown reinforcing ribs on the outer lateral surface of the nozzle lugs 11 are set. These reinforcing ribs can be axial, spiral or extend in the circumferential direction and radially up to Wall of the corresponding hole in the perforated plate 1a pass.
- the reinforcement ribs can also be in one piece on its radially outer side be formed on the bore wall. In all cases however, it is the annular space 13 between the outer wall of the Nozzle lugs 11 and the associated passage hole 3 of the perforated plate 1, which allows deformation or facilitated.
- FIG 2 is a simplified embodiment of a shower head, which, however, in wide Areas that described above with reference to Figure 1 Embodiment corresponds. Corresponding parts are therefore with the same reference number, plus 100, characterized.
- a perforated plate 101a can again be seen in FIG. is part of a shower base 101 and a plurality of Through holes arranged on concentric circles 103 contains.
- each through hole 103 of the perforated plate 101a a separate nozzle insert 101b is accommodated. While the material of the perforated plate 101a is relatively is rigid, the nozzle inserts 101b are similar like the nozzle plate 1b of Figure 1 made of an elastomer Plastic; they are in two-component technology molded onto the perforated plate 101a. Every nozzle insert 101b contains an annular flange-like region 109, whose outer diameter with the diameter of the through holes 103 matches. The lower front the nozzle inserts 101b are aligned with the outer end face the perforated plate 101a, so that the one in FIG shown shower base 101 a continuous, smooth, of Depressions has free outer surface.
- each nozzle lugs 111 On the ring flange-like region 109 are in one piece and coaxial to the through holes 103 each nozzle lugs 111 molded.
- the outside diameter of the nozzle attachments 111 is smaller than the diameter of the holes 103 of the perforated plate 101a, so that between the wall of the bores 103 and the outer lateral surface the nozzle lugs 111 a free annular space 113 is created.
- the nozzle insert 111 coaxial to the through hole Nozzle channel 114 passing through perforated plate 101a tapers again in its outer area, such that 115 hard jets emerge from the outlet opening.
- Figure 3 is a third embodiment of a shower head shown, which the embodiment of Figure 1 is very closely related. Appropriate Parts are therefore given the same reference numerals 200 marked.
- FIG 3 is a perforated plate 201a, which is part of a shower base 201, with two sets of through holes 202 and 203 to recognize.
- the through holes 203 have a larger diameter than the through holes 202 on.
- a nozzle plate 201b is made of elastomeric plastic in two-component technology to the perforated plate 201a injection molded relatively rigid material. It includes one along the entire lower face of the Perforated plate 201a extending base plate 209, to which, coaxially to the through holes 202 and 203 of the perforated plate 201a, nozzle lugs 210 and 211 are formed.
- the configuration of the nozzle attachments 210 corresponds completely that of the nozzle attachments 10 of FIG. 1, so that reference is made to the relevant description can be.
- the configuration of the nozzle attachments 211 from FIG 3 is identical to that of the nozzle extensions 11 of FIG Figure 1. Although not shown in Figure 3, so are the nozzle lugs 211 of Figure 3 on one Partition wall covering the interior of the shower head housing divided into two water spaces, also kept, as is the case with the embodiment of FIG. 1 was. That is, the shower head shown in Figure 3 is generated depending on the position of a diverter valve either Hard blasting that emerges from the outlet openings 215 of the nozzle attachments 211 emerge, or soft rays emanating from the Outlets 223 of the nozzle attachments 210 flow out.
- the perforated plate 301a made of rigid plastic has through holes 303 with a relatively large Diameter on which the through holes function 3, 103 and 203 of Figures 1 to 3 correspond.
- a nozzle plate 301b made of elastomeric material a base plate 309 to which a plurality of nozzle attachments 311 is integrally formed.
- Figure 4 is left open whether the nozzle plate 301b also nozzle approaches which has the nozzle lugs 10 of Figure 1 and 210 of Figure 3 correspond. This is for that further understanding even without meaning.
- the nozzle lugs 311 have a smaller Outside diameter than the through holes 303 the perforated plate 301a.
- Nozzle plate 301b formed on retaining collars 320, the outside diameter of which the inside diameter of the through holes Corresponds to 303.
- the retaining collars 320 and Nozzle lugs 311 thus remain a free space 313, which in the manner already described several times a flexing of the nozzle lugs 311 and thus a blasting off of limescale from the walls of the nozzle channels 314 allowed.
- the retaining collars 320 in FIG. 4 demonstrate on their on the inside pointing edge a fastening bead 321. This protrudes on the inside of the perforated plate 301a outside and secures together with the appropriate Fastening beads 321 on all other nozzle attachments 311 the nozzle plate 301b on the perforated plate 301a.
- the nozzle plate 301b can thus be on the perforated plate 301a that the retaining collars 320 through the corresponding through bores 303 of the perforated plate 301a to be pushed through, due to the elasticity of the material of the nozzle insert 301b is possible.
- the mounting beads 321 the through hole 303 have passed through, they spring open and form one Axial fixation for the nozzle plate 301b.
- the introduction the holding collar 320 and in particular the molded onto it Fastening beads 321 in the through holes 303 of perforated plate 301a is marked by a bevel 322 facilitated at the outer end of the through holes 303.
- the shower head shown in Figure 4 has the advantage that the nozzle plate 301b by a corresponding axial pull also from the perforated plate 301a can be removed again. Therefore, should by the flexing of the nozzle lugs 311 caused cleaning of the Nozzle channels 314 exceptionally after prolonged use the entire nozzle plate can no longer suffice 301b removed and thorough in any way getting cleaned.
- the nozzle plate 301b is then in the detachable on the perforated plate 301a.
- the second, more significant difference is in a variety of collar-shaped lugs 440 to see which ones are molded onto the rigid perforated plate 401a so that they pierce the elastic nozzle plate 401b.
- the collar-shaped lugs 440 surround the nozzle lugs 410 and 411 concentric. They have the function of that elastic material of the nozzle lugs 410, 411 from the separate elastic material of the nozzle plate 401b. An elastic deformation caused by flexing the nozzle attachments 410, 411 plant in this way not in the area of the nozzle plate 401b. The Material that takes part in the hike is so better Are defined.
- the embodiment shown in Figure 6 works thus as follows: in one operating mode the is from shower base 501 further away water space connected to the water supply. The water flows through the nozzle channels 514 of the nozzle lugs 511 and acts as Hard blasting from the water outlet openings 515.
- FIG. 7 shows the modifications, that described above with reference to Figures 5 and 6 were on the embodiment of the invention which is shown in the left half of Figure 3. One no additional explanation is required.
