Definitions
- the invention relates to conveyors which mold boxes are fed to molding machines can.
- the sand comes from the molding machines (Molding sand) molded on models in the molding boxes. These sand molds (sand mold halves) then become Molds assembled.
- a single conveyor line knows the state of the art two molding machines arranged one behind the other ("Form line” see FIG. 2).
- the ones intended for molding empty mold boxes (1, 2) are located there - lower and lower Alternating top boxes - on the feed roller conveyor (3) the forming line and are by means of a feed unit (4) by twice the box length in Direction of the molding machines (5, 6) clocked ("feed cycle").
- the molding machines in an odd Pitch are arranged one behind the other, they receive the one for them with each feed cycle certain lower box or upper box. This means, the lower boxes pass the upper box molding machine (5) without stopping, and the top boxes also run through the bottom box molding machine (6) without a stop.
- the one for the simultaneous impression taking a lower and upper box available Time is calculated from the cycle time of the molding system minus the time for the double push of the molding boxes through the shape line; or the other way around the cycle time of the form line from the working time of the two Molding machines plus the time for the double push the molding box line.
- That to simultaneous forms of lower and upper boxes for Time available is the time for transportation of the boxes - due to the large stroke (double push) - too long.
- the invention solves the aforementioned problem Mold box exchange between two side by side arranged conveyor lines.
- These funding lines are in Sections divided. At the end of the first section takes place the exchange of a molding box of a type each with a molding box of a different type. This happens in the funding cycle (claim 1, claim 2, Claim 10).
- the first conveyor line section one of the two molding machines is arranged; in the course of the second section of the funding line, located next to the first one no molding machine; in the course of the third section of the funding line the second molding machine is provided, the third conveyor line section being the continuation of the first section and accordingly is arranged next to the second section (claim 2, claim 5).
- the first and second single clock are synchronized (Claim 4, Claim 7, Claim 11), it follows the smallest cycle time of the shape lines.
- a single bar is doing a shifting movement around the center distance two molded boxes one behind the other (Claim 6).
- Top and bottom boxes come from a sand loading facility, that upstream of the form line is, a distributor can be provided that the various molded boxes alternately the two rows of molded boxes arranged side by side feeds (claim 8). At the end of both rows of mold boxes can be merged (claim 9, Claim 12). It’s easy to set up mechanically, since it's just a vertical semicircle repositioning movement must execute the respective one Place the top box on a respective bottom box. by virtue of running the two different ones side by side Mold box types with each other The assigned sand mold halves only result in the Possibility of folding by means of a vertical semicircular movement perform. Such a semicircle movement is mechanical with simple means and to reach quickly, so that time and effort saved when folding the finished shapes can be.
- the invention is particularly effective in decoupling the exchange of the mold boxes (with the exchange device, for example as a transverse displacement device with lifting, transverse thrust and lowering movement) from the molding process of the machines.
- the Invention but also a quality improvement Shapes that are in the "molded mold boxes" (the finished forms) shows. Because none of the finished Forms driven by an (open) molding machine no trickle sand from the driven through Molding machines fall into the finished molds. The surface the castings can be improved noticeably.
- the molding machines 5, 6 for top and bottom boxes are in a line within the molding section 3 where - seen in the direction of flow - the top box machine 5 arranged in front of the lower box machine 6 is. Alternatively, the order of the two Machines are exchanged.
- the row of boxes is different from the state of the art the form line in single cycle with a feed unit 4 moved forward. This can happen because in Direction of the first molding machine only upper boxes 1 be transported.
- the associated sub-boxes 2 run on a parallel roller conveyor 7 - also in Single cycle - alongside the top boxes.
- In the amount of section located between the molding machines 10 of the form line will be the ones already formed Upper boxes sideways against those still to be shaped Lower box by means of a transverse sliding device 9 replaced. From this point on there are only still sub-boxes in the form line. Then these will fed to the lower case molding machine.
- the folding device 20 can cheaply Place the top and bottom boxes on top of each other, as this is yours side by side (parallel in the best case) become. A simple 180 ° vertical swivel movement of the top box on the bottom box gives the finished shape. So also when folding Time and effort can be saved.
