Definitions

  • the invention relates to an adhesive for connecting on driven rollers wound material webs, in particular for connecting printing material webs a web-fed rotary printing press during its flying web change and a method of making an adhesive joint thereof Substrates.
  • the printing material e.g. Paper the printing unit
  • the printing material web is from a Rolled out, which is clamped in a reel changer.
  • the reel changer is upstream of the printing unit.
  • a Reel changer at least over two reels with integrated tensioners, in which the running, as well as the new substrate roll with prepared Adhesive joint are clamped.
  • the new substrate roll with the The web of the running substrate can be connected on the fly, the new one Printing material web roll accelerated by means of a drive device until the circumferential speed of the web speed of the running substrate web corresponds.
  • the reliable connection of the adhesive joint of the new Printing material web roll with the end piece of the running printing material web, which with a device for gluing and integrated in the reel changer Capping of the running printing material web takes place, but is without incorrect gluing or Web break only possible if the adhesive joint on the new web roll in has been appropriately prepared.
  • the tear-off force of the adhesive joint from the new printing material web must be so great be that the adhesive joint during storage in the roller intermediate storage, subsequent transport and loading into the reel changer or does not come off when accelerating the new substrate roll in the roll changer.
  • the location of the adhesive joint on the circumference of the new printing material web should be independent its place of application or the type of loading in the reel changer can be determined as precisely as possible.
  • the adhesive bump should also go away when gluing onto the running substrate without great effort Have it torn off, whereby it should be noted that the web train distribution over the Web width remains as uniform as possible during the covering. Finally, must the adhesive joint transfer the occurring web tension value of the connected web width can and not tear off.
  • connection between the two webs should be the longitudinal cutting devices offer the lowest possible cutting resistance; it should be in the range of The former can be folded as bulge-free as possible - and it should be for everyone Partial web can withstand the occurring train.
  • the printed copies are taken over by a downstream transport system and transported for further processing or to a forwarding agency.
  • the Scale flow can be deliberately divided because the specimens, the parts of Glue bumps included, cannot be sold and therefore via a so-called paper waste must be eliminated. Because the glue bumps are usually not visible - they may be multiple Web layers covered - the elimination is controlled by the fact that Switch the waste switch in the area of the adhesive material to the Fabric are glued on the contactless, for example by means of inductive or capacitive proximity switch can be detected.
  • EP 0 418 527 A2 discloses an adhesive joint preparation in which one Starting edge of the roll at an angle of less than 90 ° to the side edge of the Substrate, especially at an angle between 60 ° and 80 °, is cut off. Then the roll start edge with a connecting strip, that spans the entire width of the web, on the one below glued next layer.
