Definitions
- the invention relates to a mortise lock for Doors or the like, with a standing under the action of a trap spring Latch bolt, which in his partially extended, only with its front Run-up slope above the lock faceplate in the intermediate position is to be locked by a locking element that by releasing a trigger on the striking plate side and thus the latch bolt in its full extended position with one under the effect of a Return spring standing lock nut, with one between the latter and the latch bolt provided by the lock nut, pivotable and one attacking on the latch bolt shaft Driver arm with swivel plate, with an under Effect of a seeker to push him into the extended position Bolt spring standing bolt, which in its retracted Position by one of the fully extended latchbolts locking slide to be disengaged and the same like the latchbolt from its lockable extension the retracted position by actuating the lock nut via a double arm Bolt control lever is to be obtained, the one with his the lever arm end facing away from the lock bolt on the swivel plate is present.
- a mortise lock of the type described is through EP 0 431 369 is known. It is different from others previously known mortise locks of a similar type, primarily because that in the door open position the latch bolt like a conventional lock latch only with its front bevel protrudes from the lock faceplate, but on the other hand Door closures as well as the lock bolt in their own full extend or close position with comparatively low Extend locking engagement. It is in the latchbolt comparatively concealed trigger with directly attached to it, designed as a ratchet tooth Locking element ensures that the trigger against a open door is largely protected against unintentional actuation and he only uses the latchbolt and the lock bolt for release their full extension movement after the closed position the door has been reliably reached.
- the present invention has the object based on a mortise lock of the type described To create genus that at comparatively simple and compact design a complete at each door opening Retracting the lock bolt and locking it properly guaranteed in the retracted position and continue also easier locking of the lock bolt in its extended position made possible and finally for the most diverse Purposes of construction vary slightly can be.
- This task is based on a mortise lock of the type described in the introduction solved according to the invention by that the swivel plate as around the handle follower axis Swivel-adjustable control nut washer is the one acting on the adjacent bolt control lever arm end Control hump, the one against the Latch latches leading to retraction of the latch bolt Contour has and finally a Lock bolt in its extended position engaging locking lug having.
- the latch bolt shank is useful spring-loaded pawl available, the latch bolt in its protruding position Positions behind blocking against pushing in, however for its desired catch-up movement from its locked position to disengage from the catch follower arm of the steering nut disc is.
- the latchbolt can be in its Extend position against undesired pushing in or -slide to be locked by the pawl quite different, by correspondingly different Strike plate or rebate air conditions conditional Extending positions.
- the new mortise lock can be designed as a panic lock by his steering nut washer between an outer and inner lock nut is arranged and with the inner lock nut constantly, with the outer lock nut, however, only has one on the control nut washer arranged clutch pawl to swivel driving connect, with the clutch pawl over one on it attacking, key-operated clutch slide on and to move out.
- the clutch pawl available here enables so that it is to collect the latch bolt together and lock bolt serving control nut with the inner lock nut as required with panic locks constantly connected and thus also by a corresponding
- the inside handle must always be pressed while the outside lock nut for mere key actuation via the clutch slide and also uncouple the clutch pawl from the steering nut disc is.
- the new Mortise lock also designed as an apartment lock be the one on the lock cylinder at idle uncouplable lock nut to prevent the Door with the opening methods known for panic locks can be overcome, so the lock when closed Door set to a state by turning the key is where the door also opens from the inside is only possible with the corresponding key.
- the steering nut washer is attached to it Change key operated and carries one on it Swivel-mounted coupling pawl over which the Control nut washer with the lock nut normally on swivel drive is connected, but one of them by the clutch pawl oppositely acting, also key-operated Coupling slide must also be uncoupled.
- This Clutch slide is preferably in the opposite direction to Alternating, i.e. turning back key operation in its loading position disengaging the clutch pawl bring to. He is in his two, the clutch pawl releasing or disengaged shift positions to snap resiliently.
- the new mortise lock can also be used as a so-called Locking lock be formed, in which its otherwise existing function of self or automatic locking temporarily and only by the key owner out of function can be set. This is in turn on the steering nut disc a key-operated change articulated and the Steering nut washer in its greatest possible by actuating the lock nut, the latch bolt in its fully retracted position bring-in position by a key-operated, the change in its correspondingly highest raised Position locking rocker with release of the lock nut adjustability to block.
- This seesaw is advantageous as in the swivel range of the lock bit of a key-operated Three-armed lever arranged in the locking cylinder, its pointer-like middle arm with one corresponding to the change arranged locking projection in and out of locking engagement to bring while the other two side arms the rocker through the lock bit depending on its front or declining closing movement in opposite directions are.
- the latch bolt in its full To be able to determine the retracted position, it is sufficient if first of all the handle inserted into the final nut is pressed until it stops and in it Then state the key to the appropriate application the rocker is turned in the final direction.
- the mortise locks shown are with a Lock case base 1, a lock cover 2 and a lock faceplate 3 provided, the corresponding through openings is provided for the latch bolt 4 and the bolt 5.
- the latch bolt 4 is under the action of the latch spring 6, which are angled on a built-in in the lock case Supporting guide plate 7 on which the top on the fixed roller 1 'abutting shaft 4' of the latch bolt slidably rests. With its other end takes hold the latch spring 6 is limited to one in the latch bolt head 4 " pivotally mounted trigger lever 8 with a is used as a locking element locking tooth 8 ', in the intermediate position of the latch bolt shown in Fig.1 4, in the latter only with its front bevel the latch bolt protrudes over the lock face plate 3 4 locked on the inside of the lock faceplate 3.
- the trigger on the front wall of the trigger lever 8 8 '' meets the frame side when the door is closed located striking plate, whereby the lever 8 pivots slightly is so that its locking tooth 8 'the latch bolt 4th releases the then under the action of the trap spring 6 in his e.g. 3 fully extended closed position.
- the special training of the provided with the locking element 8 ' Trigger lever 8 and its mode of operation go in detail from EP 0 431 369 already mentioned at the beginning.
- a pawl 9 is provided above the latch bolt shaft 4 ', which is pivotally mounted around the fixed bolt 10 is and with its front toothed end 9 'the latch bolt 4 to reach behind it on its cutting edge 4 '' ' can The one that engages on its bead 9 '' around the fixed bolts 10 and 10 'wrapped leg spring 11 presses the pawl 9 down.
- the lock bolt 5 is also to be locked in its retracted position shown in FIG. 1, for example, by the locking slide 12 designed as a flat slide and its flat angled portion 12 'at the lower end. This engages in the position of the flat slide 12 raised by the leg spring 13 in front of the locking projection 5 '' present at the bottom of the lock bolt shaft 5 'at the front, so that the lock bolt 5 in its position, which acts under the action of the bolt 14 wound on the bolt shaft bolt 5 ′′′ and engages the bolt shaft 5 feder Retracted position is locked.
- the locking or flat slide 12, which is vertically displaceable over the elongated hole bolt guides 12-at its upper and lower ends, is provided at its upper end with an oblique bend 12 ".
- All mortise locks shown is also common to a control nut 16 which is pivotally mounted about the handle nut axis a and which can be pivoted in the circumference limited by its circular arc-shaped slot 16 'and the hollow bolt 17 arranged therein, which is fixed in the lock case.
- This control nut 16 represents the central control element of the mortise lock, as it were. It has a driver arm 16 ′′, by means of which the latch bolt 4 can be obtained from its different extended positions, whether from its fully extended or also its intermediate position, for opening the door at all times when the control nut 16 is pivoted .
- control nut disc 16 is provided with a specially shaped control bracket 16 '''for the double-armed bolt control lever 18 which is pivotably mounted about the fixed bolt 17' in order to apply it accordingly to retract the lock bolt 5.
- the double-armed bolt control lever 18, as shown in FIG. 3, engages with its lower arm 18 'on a roller bolt 5 IV present on the lock bolt shaft 5', while a roller bolt 18 "is present on the upper lever arm 18". This is caused by the bolt control lever 18 acting on the bearing bolt 17 wrapped leg spring 19 pressed against the control boss 16 "" of the control nut disc 16.
- This control boss 16 "" has such a contour that when the latch bolt 4 and the lock bolt 5 are retracted, as shown in FIG 1, even before the latch bolt 4 reaches its retracted position which enables the door to be opened, and in all of the exemplary embodiments the control nut disk 16 is at the bottom a locking lug 16 IV is provided, which shows the lock bolt 5 in its in FIG elten extended position is able to reach behind, namely the locking projection 5 V present on the lock bolt 5. This prevents unauthorized pressing of the lock bolt 5 out of its extended position.
- the control nut washer 16 is arranged between a split lock nut, namely between an outer lock nut 20 and an inner lock nut 21, both of which are in a conventional manner by a lock nut spring 22 engaging them in their fixed hollow bolt 23 and be held on the fixed bolt 23 'resting position.
- These two nut halves differ from one another in that they have two driver arms 20 'and 21' which project axially to different extents from the lock nut axis a.
- a coupling pawl 24 pivotably mounted on the control nut 16 about its bolt 16 V interacts and can be engaged and disengaged via a key-operated clutch slide 26 which engages on it.
- the clutch pawl 24 engages around the lower edge of the control nut 16 U-shaped and is under the action of a return spring 27, which sits in a corresponding recess of the control nut 16 and the clutch pawl 24 tries to keep in the disengaged position in FIGS the control nut disc 16 is still only in drive connection via the coupling pawl 24 with the lock inner nut 21, on the other hand is uncoupled from the lock outer nut 20, and consequently the lock cannot be opened by actuating the outside handle, whereas an inside handle actuation for retracting the latch bolt 4 and the lock bolt 5 as in the event of panic - Door locks required is possible at any time.
- the clutch slide that controls the clutch pawl 26 is in its two, so the clutch pawl 24 displacement positions holding in or out of position to snap resiliently.
- a kidney-shaped Locking recess 26 'provided with the lock case Locking pin 28 acts together, with the Coupling slide 26 under the effect of the same time for that Extending the lock bolt 5 required locking spring 15 stands with the shorter arm 15 'in front of the Clutch slide 26 existing bend 26 '' engages.
- the clutch slide 26 is provided with a guide slot 26 um encompassing the fixed pin 29 and also with an actuating projection 26 IV for the actuating lock bit located in the lock cylinder to be installed in the opening 30. Also an angled locking lug 26 V is provided on the coupling slide 26 below, which engages in the shifting position of the coupling slide 26 corresponding to the engaged coupling pawl 24 and in the retracted position of the lock bolt 5 into a locking slot 5 VI provided on the bolt shaft 5 'on the underside thereof, as in FIG Fig.2 is the case.
- the lock outer nut 20 of the lock bolt 5 can be held in its retracted position when the door closes, although the latch bolt 4 extends and the lock bolt 5 'for the lock slide 12 and its locking lug 12' that can be moved downward Extend movement would release, but which would not make sense in this case, i.e. when the outside handle is actuated. Since in the lock described above, the inner nut 21 is in constant entrainment via the coupling pawl 24 with the control nut disk 16, that is to say the door can be opened from the inside at any time, for example, by actuating a handle, this is a panic lock.
- FIGS. 5 to 8 differs from the one described above in that it is not a panic lock but an apartment door lock that has a lock nut 30 that can be decoupled via the key-operated lock cylinder to idle, in order in this way to prevent the equipped door can be overcome with the opening methods known from panic locks.
- this lock can be put into a state in which the door can only be opened from the inside using the key.
- a key-operated change 31 is articulated on the control nut disk 16 at the point 16 VI .
- the control nut disk 16 here also carries a clutch pawl 32 seated on its bearing pin 16 V , via which the control nut disk 16 is normally connected to the lock nut 30 in a pivoting manner, as is the case in FIGS 32 acting in opposite directions, also to be actuated clutch slide 33 is also to be uncoupled.
- This clutch slide 33 can be moved from its normal rest position shown in FIG.
- the clutch slide 33 is for this purpose in its two, the clutch pawl 32 releasing or disengaged displacement positions to be locked, namely by the leg spring 35 wound around the fixed pin 14, which has one end on the hollow pin 23 and the other end on the Angle 33 'of the clutch slide 33 rests.
- the coupling slide 33 is provided with a heart-shaped locking recess 33 ′′, which engages with the locking bolt 36 arranged in the lock case. 7, the clutch slide 33 can be levered out by the change 31 during its key-operated opening adjustment movement shown in FIG. 8, in order to thereby return to its normal position shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 to get.
- the lock type shown in FIGS. 9 to 11 also has many common components with the lock types described above, which are provided with the same reference numerals.
- the special thing about this lock is that it represents a locking lock, in which the automatic removal of the latch bolt as well as the bolt bolt can only be temporarily deactivated by the key owner, so that the latch bolt according to Fig. 11 is also temporarily in its place fully retracted position can be locked.
- a key-actuated change 40 is in turn articulated on the control nut disk 16 at the point 16 VI , while the coupling pawl 41 is fixed this time on the control nut disk 16 via the pivot pin 16 VI , so that the latter is in constant engagement with the trigger nut 30.
- a rocker 42 is provided in the swivel range of the locking cylinder locking bar, which allows the latch bolt 4 to be blocked in its fully retracted position shown in FIG. 11, by corresponding interaction with the change 40.
- the rocker 42 is designed as a three-armed lever, the pointer-like center arm 42 'can be brought into and out of locking engagement with a correspondingly arranged locking projection 40', while the two side arms 42 “and 42 ′′′ by the lock cylinder lock bit depending on its forward or reverse closing movement
- the arms 42 'and 42 "of the rocker 42 are offset from one another in a plane so that the shaft 5' of the lock bolt 5 lies between them.
- the rocker 42 can be locked in its two different setting positions by a catch spring 43 engaging its side arm end 42 ′′′ facing away from the change 40 in the manner shown in FIGS. 9 and 11.
- the detent spring 43 is shaped in such a way that it is able to do this on the one hand and is held by the bolts 45 and 17 'surrounded by it on the other hand.
