Definitions
- the invention relates to an infusion container with a first connection for supplying a medicament and a second connection for removing the contents of the container.
- the known infusion containers of this type are usually bags that consist of two flat foils welded together. After welding the flat foils together and before filling the bag, the two connections are glued or welded in, which is complex.
- the object of the invention is to create an infusion container which can be provided with the necessary connections more cost-effectively than the known infusion containers. This object is achieved by an infusion container with the features of claim 1.
- the insertion of the stopper into the neck of the container and the connection of the stopper to the neck is not difficult and can be carried out fully automatically in the same machine in which the container is produced by blow molding or vacuum molding and then filled.
- the interlocking material parts of the neck and stopper not only make it easier to achieve a tight closure of the neck by means of the stopper, but also result in a positive connection of the stopper to the neck in the axial direction of the neck.
- the insertion of the plug provided with the connections is therefore considerably less expensive than the known gluing or welding in of the connections.
- connections can be protected and kept sterile without additional effort after inserting the stopper by means of at least one protective hood molded onto the neck and covering the connections, the protective hood being light and without, due to the predetermined breaking point between the protective hood and neck
- Auxiliary tools can be separated from the neck, namely broken off.
- the part consisting of the connections and the plug itself is very inexpensive.
- the longitudinal axis of the channel of the first connection and that of the channel of the second connection can be arranged diametrically with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the pin and can be inclined in the plane defined by these three axes by the same angle in opposite directions with respect to the central longitudinal axis.
- the sockets are then also very easily accessible.
- the longitudinal axes of the two channels can also lie, for example, in two mutually parallel planes and can be inclined in opposite directions.
- the two planes are preferably arranged symmetrically to the central longitudinal axis of the plug.
- the longitudinal axes of the two channels can, however, also lie parallel to one another and at a distance from one another, wherein the connecting pieces can be arranged in contact with one another or at a distance from one another.
- Each of the two channels is preferably closed by a membrane which is formed in one piece with the stopper or the connecting piece. If the material of the membrane should not be able to seal the hole itself after piercing, a layer of natural rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer can be applied to the membrane, i.e. a material that is able to puncture to be completely closed again automatically.
- the membrane need not be located at one end of the channel. An arrangement within the channel or within the nozzle is also possible without any problems.
- a cap can be provided, which preferably consists of latex or a thermoplastic elastomer.
- this cap is designed in such a way that it has a section engaging in the connecting piece and then a turnable section that extends beyond the connecting piece on the outside.
- An infusion container designated as a whole by 1 which in the exemplary embodiment has been produced in a blow molding machine from an extruded tube or two flat foils and has been provided with a neck 2, has a stopper 3 inserted into the neck 2 and connected to it in a tight and axial manner which has a cylindrical shape.
- the neck 2 which is pressed against the outer surface of the stopper 3 during the shaping, not only rests against the outer surface of the larger diameter section of the stopper 3, but also engages with a ring-shaped material portion in the An annular groove 4, fills it completely and lies close to the ring surface at the transition to the section with the smaller diameter and on the outer surface and a part of the end face.
- the annular groove 4 and the annular bead-shaped material portion of the neck 2 engaging in it result in a positive connection in the axial direction of the neck 2 and contribute to a tight closure of the neck 2 by the stopper 3.
- the plug 3 is penetrated by two channels 5 and 6, the longitudinal axes of which are arranged diametrically with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the plug 3 and in the plane defined by the longitudinal axes of the channels 5 and 6 and the central longitudinal axis of the plug 3 by the same angle in opposite directions the central longitudinal axis are inclined so that the intersection of the longitudinal axes lies inside the infusion container 1.
- a nozzle 7 or 8 is formed on the end face of the larger diameter section of the plug 3, the diameter of which is equal to that of the channel 5 or 6.
- the channels 5 and 6 and the nozzle 7 and 8 do not need to have the same diameter everywhere as in the embodiment. Their cross-sectional shape and cross-sectional size can be adapted to the requirements.
- connection piece or also the channel can widen conically on the one hand, preferably towards the free end of the connection piece.
- the channel 5 and the nozzle 7 form a first connection for supplying a medicament
- the channel 6 and the nozzle 8 form a second connection for removing the contents of the container.
- the channel 5 is hermetically sealed at its end facing away from the socket 7 by a membrane 9 formed in one piece with the stopper 3, and the socket 8 by a membrane 10 formed in one piece with the latter.
- the diaphragm can, as shown in connection with the diaphragm 10 be provided on one or both sides with a layer 10 'of latex or a thermoplastic elastomer, which is able to close a puncture opening again.
- the one-piece body consisting of the plug 3 with the two sockets 7 and 8 and the two membranes 9 and 10 is made of plastic and is an inexpensive molded part in the exemplary embodiment. Both thermoplastic elastomers and harder materials, e.g. Polypropylene.
- a cap 11 which in the exemplary embodiment consists of latex, but could also consist of another elastomer.
- the cap 11 has a section provided with a central blind hole, which engages sealingly in the socket 8, and a second section, likewise having a central blind hole, which can be folded back over the first section and thereby slipped over the socket 8, as shown in FIG .2 and 3 show.
- the stopper 3 is inserted into the neck 2, which has not yet been formed. Only then is the neck 2 finished, whereby it comes into tight contact with the stopper 3.
- the two flattened zones, which lie in the parting plane of the tool by means of which the neck 2 is formed, and which adjoin the outside of the neck 2 diametrically lying, are designated by 12.
- the neck 2 overlaps the stopper 3 and ends approximately halfway between the two nozzles 7 and 8 at a distance from them.
- This neck end is followed by a crushing closure 13 and 14 for both sockets 7 and 8, the crushing closures 13 and 14 connecting to the neck end via a predetermined breaking point 20 with reduced wall thickness.
- the two crushing closures 13 and 14 each form a protective hood 15 or 16 which crosses the connecting pieces 7 and 8 and, if appropriate, the attached cap 11 and to which a handle part 17 or 18 is integrally connected. Both crush locks 13 and 14 can be separated from the neck 2 independently of one another.
- the stopper 103 inserted in its neck 102 and connected to it tightly and positively in the axial direction has two radially outwardly projecting, circumferential ribs 103 ', which are spaced axially apart are arranged side by side and facilitate the tight connection between the stopper 103 and the neck 102 and bring about a form fit because when the neck 102 is formed after the insertion of the stopper 103, the material forming the neck 102 engages over the ribs 103 'and also on the front side thereof Area areas close together.
- the inner wall of the neck therefore has two ring grooves receiving the ribs 103 '.
- the plug 103 is penetrated by two cylindrical channels 105 and 106, the longitudinal axes of which lie in two mutually parallel planes which are arranged symmetrically to the central longitudinal axis of the plug 103, as shown in particular in FIG.
- the longitudinal axes of the two channels 105 and 106 are inclined in opposite directions by the same angle with respect to a line perpendicular to the end faces of the plug 103.
- two nozzles 107 and 108 are formed on the outward-facing end face of the plug 103, which lies in a single radial plane, as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, the inside diameter of which is equal to that of the assigned channel is selected.
- Each of the two nozzles 107 and 108 is sealed by a membrane 109 and 110 which is formed with it in one piece and is at a distance from its free end.
- these membranes can be provided on one or both sides with a layer of latex or another material which is capable of sealing a puncture opening again.
- a protective hood 115 is formed, which overlaps both connecting pieces 107 and 108, as shown in FIG.
- This protective hood 115 is connected to the neck 102 via a predetermined breaking point 120 with reduced wall thickness, which lies in the area between the last rib 103 'and the outward-facing end face of the plug 103, and in the exemplary embodiment with two diametrically lying, outwardly projecting, flattened zones 115 ', which facilitate a secure grasping of the protective hood 115. They also make it possible to separate the protective hood 115 from the neck 102 by a tilting or rotating movement.
- a stopper 203 is inserted into the neck 202 of the infusion container 201, which has two cylindrical parts 203 arranged next to one another and with a parallel axis ', which are connected to one another by a plate-shaped central part 203 ".
- the neck 202 not only encompasses the two parts 203' and thereby engages in their circumferential annular groove 204, as a result of which a form fit in the axial direction is present and the achievement of a tight connection between the plug 203 and the neck 202 is supported. It also bears on the outwardly facing end face of the cylindrical parts 203 'and on the plate-shaped central part 203 ".
- the two cylindrical parts 203 ' are penetrated centrally by a channel 205 and 206, respectively.
- a cylindrical connecting piece 207 and 208 adjoins both channels 205 and 206, which have a section 207 'and 208' with an enlarged diameter following the plug 203.
- the membrane which closes the two connections formed by the channels and the connecting pieces, can be provided in the area of the connecting pieces or the channels.
- the neck 202 ends in the area of the sections 207 'and 208'.
- a protective cap 215 and 216 which adjoins the neck end, overlaps the nozzles 207 and 208 and is connected to the neck 202 via a predetermined breaking point 220 with reduced wall thickness.
- Both protective caps 212 and 216 are each provided with two flattened zones 212 protruding in diametrical directions, which facilitate the safe gripping of the protective caps 215 and 216 when breaking off the neck 202.
- the end of the protective cap 216 pointing away from the neck 202 is followed by a flat handle part 218 which engages over the protective cap 215.
- the fourth exemplary embodiment of an infusion container according to the invention shown in FIGS. 9 to 11 differs from the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 6 to 8 only by a different design of the protection for the two connecting pieces 207 and 208. Therefore, identical parts are identified with the same reference numbers .
- Both nozzles 207 and 208 are overlapped by a single protective hood 315, which is connected to the end of the neck 202 in the area of the sections 207 'and 208' with a larger diameter via a predetermined breaking point with reduced wall thickness.
- the two narrow sides of the protective hood 315 are formed by semi-cylindrical surface areas, whereas the broad sides form flat wall parts.
- the protective hood 315 can be broken off from the neck 202 by hand, that is to say without the aid of a tool.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 5 einen Schnitt nach der Linie V - V der Fig.4,
- Fig. 8 einen Schnitt nach der Linie VIII - VIII der Fig.6,
