Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hand-movable transport trolley, in particular a shopping trolley, with at least one device intended for receiving goods, luggage and the like, and with a sliding device arranged between two handle holding parts, which is designed as a handle bar, and which has an upper region which can be used to hold an advertising medium has, which extends from one handle holding part to the other handle holding part, the handle bar carries a coin lock secured against loosening, which is equipped with a coupling mechanism and with a deposit retention device and enables the trolley to be borrowed on a deposit basis.
  • Transport trolleys equipped with coin locks, in particular shopping trolleys, are widespread.
  • Cars of this type are usually lent on a pawn basis. They can either be coupled and decoupled from one another and / or, in conjunction with permanently installed collection points, collected and borrowed at various points.
  • Such systems are intended to prevent, for example, empty shopping trolleys from standing randomly and unused in parking lots.
  • Transport trolleys are known in which the coin lock is preferably arranged centrally on the handle bar.
  • the first of these disadvantages is that the coin lock can protrude disturbingly into the seat and / or head area of a child if the trolley is a conventional shopping cart equipped with a child seat. There is a risk that toddlers in the child seat will hit the face on the coin lock when driving the trolley on bumpy roads.
  • the second disadvantage can be seen in the fact that the coin lock hides advertising notices which are located on the handle bar (see DE-U-8 502 781.2, EP-A-0 212 557).
  • Such sliding devices can be designed to be reasonably cost-effective and light in weight only as complete plastic parts that are matched to the different widths of the transport trolleys, either manufactured in different lengths, which require different settings on the injection mold, or made to the greatest possible length, of which then sections of different sizes must be sawn off to the left and right in order to obtain the required different sizes. Both manufacturing processes cause unnecessary costs.
  • the sliding devices of most known transport trolleys, in particular the shopping trolleys are designed as handle bars with a uniform cross section, which are simply sawn off to the correct length from existing bar or tube material and onto which the coin locks are then placed and then secured against loosening.
  • the object of the invention is to further develop a generic transport carriage so that the aforementioned disadvantages are avoided.
  • the object is achieved in that the coin lock is arranged below the handle bar and that the sections provided for fastening the coin lock of the coin lock are arranged outside the upper area provided for the advertising medium and partially grasp the handle bar from below.
  • the invention expediently also allows sliding devices designed as a handle bar, which do not need openings or chambers for receiving the coin locks and are therefore simple and inexpensive to manufacture.
  • Another advantage that should not be underestimated is that existing transport trolleys can be retrofitted with coin locks according to the invention without the shape of the sliding devices having to be changed.
  • the inventive transport trolley protrudes. the coin lock also not in the children's seating area. The entire upper area of the sliding device for attaching advertising is also retained.
  • a trolley 1 is shown, which is designed in the preferred form as a shopping cart. Other embodiments, such as so-called platform wagons or luggage trolleys, are also encompassed by the invention.
  • the trolley 1 having a chassis 2 is provided with a device 3, for example in the form of a basket, of a container and / or a platform that is intended for receiving goods, luggage and the like.
  • the trolley 1 is equipped with a sliding device designed as a handle bar 5.
  • a coin lock 11 of a known type is secured against displacement and rotation so that the known coupling mechanism 14 and the also known deposit retention device 16 are arranged below the handle bar 5.
  • the coin lock 11 partially engages around the handle bar 5 from below, so that a continuous upper region 8 of the handle bar 5 is retained, which remains usable for the preferred attachment of advertising 18.
  • the coin lock 11 is arranged in the middle of the handle bar 5. But it can also be located at any other desired location on the handle bar 5.
  • solutions are known to those skilled in the art.
  • the coin lock 11 can be pinned or screwed to the handle bar 5. Against rotation about the longitudinal axis 6 of the handle bar 5, a non-cylindrical cross section of the handle bar 5 is appropriate.
  • a shifting of the coin lock 11 along the handle bar 5 can be avoided in addition to the just mentioned pinning and screwing in that the coin lock 11, as suggested by the applicant in the meantime, latches with one of the two handle holding parts 17 located on the longitudinal sides of the transport carriage 1 is.
  • the handle holding parts 17, the ends of the handle bar 5 are inserted in a known manner.
  • FIG. 2 shows a handle bar 5 with an approximately oval, non-cylindrical cross section.
  • the handle bar 5 carries a coin lock 11, the coin lock 11 with its housing 12 partially engages the handle bar 5 from below so that it can no longer detach itself from the handle bar 5.
  • the coin lock 11 engages with two sections 13 over the centrally arranged horizontal axis 7 of the cross section of the handle bar 5.
  • the handle bar 5, which can be designed variably, has a recess 9 in its upper area 8, which is not claimed by the coin lock 11, into which, for example, a strip-shaped advertising medium 18 can be inserted which is covered by a transparent cover strip 10 which can be snapped in place.
  • FIG. 3 also shows a sectional view of a handle bar 5 with a cylindrical cross section.
  • the coin lock 11 encompasses the handle bar 5 with two sections 13 from below partially, but at an angle of more than 180 °. As a result, the coin lock 11 cannot detach itself from the handle bar 5.
  • the upper area 8 of the handle bar 5 is not claimed by the coin lock 11.
  • the coupling mechanism 14, the coupling part 15, as well as the deposit retention device 16 are located below the handle bar 5, as in the two examples just described. Further details not mentioned here, as mentioned in FIGS. 1 and 2, can be found in the cylindrical handle bar 5 adapted accordingly, in a manner familiar to those skilled in the art also transferred to this embodiment.
  • Fig. 4 shows in a cross section to the longitudinal axis 6 a plastic handle bar 5 with molded housing 12 of the coin lock 11.
  • the coupling mechanism 14 is located in the housing 12 of the coin lock 11.
  • a flexibly mounted coupling part 15 is fastened to the housing 12 of the coin lock 11.
  • the housing 12 of the coin lock 11 is arranged on the handle bar 5 so that also In the upper region 8, which is not claimed by the coin lock 11, a continuous recess 9, extending in the longitudinal direction of the handle bar 5, for receiving a strip-shaped advertising medium 18 is formed, which is covered by a transparent cover strip 10 which can be snapped in place.
  • a continuous upper area 8 of the handle bar 5 is therefore also retained in this exemplary embodiment, which can be used for attaching advertising or other information.
  • the area 8 extends, as in the exemplary embodiments described above, from one handle holding part 17 to the other handle holding part 17.
