Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bath lift for the disabled with a lifting plate which can be raised and lowered on a frame and is actuated by a hydraulic lifting device and a valve device which has an inlet valve and an outlet valve, the valve tappets of which are each provided with a valve disk, optionally by a hand-operated, two Buttons and two rocker actuating surfaces can be actuated, the two valve lifters being of the same design, slidably mounted with parallel axes in a valve housing and preloaded by means of built-in springs with their valve disks upwards against the respective valve seats in the closed position, and a pressurized water supply connection with an upstream of the Valve seat lying annulus of the inlet valve and a connection leading to the lifting device communicate with a second annulus downstream of the valve seat of the inlet valve and the second annulus via a housing bore with a stro communicates on the flow side annular space of the outlet valve, the downstream annular space of which is connected to an outlet opening of the valve housing, the rocker
  • US-A-3,280,409 shows such a bath lifter.
  • the valve device is arranged laterally and at a distance from the gesture and from the lifting plate. When it is raised to its end of stroke position, an adjustable stop prevents it from lifting further.
  • the pressure in the hydraulic lifting device increases to the supply pressure in the water pipe. The hydraulic lifting device is heavily loaded.
  • EP-A-00 74 460 shows a bath lift in which the lifting device consists of a flexible hose. If such hoses were frequently and for a long time exposed to the full pressure of the water pipe, there is a risk of leaks.
  • US-A-4,624,019 shows a lifting device with a metal lifting cylinder.
  • a three-way valve located away from the lifting plate is operated by means of a Bowden cable by a hand swivel lever.
  • another Bowden cable pulls an actuation rocker of the three-way valve in the direction of its other actuation position, so that the lifting cylinder is shut off from the pressurized water supply, but this opens the drain valve and the lifting plate performs a downward movement.
  • the object of the invention is to improve the bath lifter with a valve device of the type mentioned in such a way that the inlet valve automatically closes exactly in the stroke end position of the lifting plate, without the outlet valve being influenced.
  • valve device is fastened under the lifting plate and the rocker passes through a recess in the lifting plate and protrudes slightly beyond its cover surface and that a lifting element acts on the valve lifter of the inlet valve, which has a control arm which is movably mounted below the lifting plate in the latter End stroke position cooperates and lifts the valve tappet of the inlet valve into its valve closed position, the movement of the control arm being derived from that of the frame having two scissor frames.
  • the rocker does not need its own spring means to bias it towards its neutral position, because the two valve springs do this automatically. Thanks to the arrangement of the valve device on the underside of the lifting plate, it is possible by means of a simple mechanical connection between a scissor frame of the frame and the valve device to move the inlet valve to its closed position when the gesture has reached its stroke end position. The pressure in the lifting device then has the value corresponding to the load on the lifting plate, which is far below the water line pressure. According to the invention, the inlet valve is closed in a travel-dependent manner and a very small stroke of the valve tappet of less than 2 mm can be regarded as a particular advantage. Any movement games of the rocker can not affect this forced shut-off of the inlet valve.
  • the outlet valve is at the same time a safety valve for limiting the pressure in the lifting device.
  • the pressure in the lifting device increases.
  • the outlet valve opens because the spring is selected for this pressure value.
  • the outlet valve closes. Even if the stroke-dependent limit switching of the intake valve should fail, only a limited pressure can build up in the lifting device.
  • FIG. 1 The basic structure of the bath lifter is shown in FIG. 1 shown.
  • a frame 14 On a base plate 12, a frame 14 is mounted, which has two scissor frames 28, 32, the inner scissor frame 32 is pivotally mounted on the base plate by two fixed pivot bearings 16 and the outer scissor frame 28 has two sliding bearings 20, which in Guide rails 22 are slidably guided on the base plate 12.
  • the two scissor frames 28, 32 are connected to one another approximately at half height by a common pivot bearing 20.
  • the frame 14 supports a lifting plate 24, on the underside of which two fixed pivot bearings 16 are provided for the outer pivot frame 28 and two guide rails 22, in which the sliding bearings 20 of the inner pivot frame 32 are guided so as to be longitudinally displaceable.
  • the outer swivel frame 28 has a cross strut 30 on the bottom side and the inner swivel frame has a lower cross strut 34 and an upper cross strut 36.
  • the two swivel frames each form one-piece plastic molded parts.
  • a lifting hose 26, which is closed at both ends, is fastened with the lower end to the base plate 12 and clamped with its upper end to the underside of the lifting plate 24.
  • a valve device 40 is located near the outer edge of the lifting plate 24 and is screwed to the underside of the lifting plate 24.
  • the valve housing 42 of the valve device 40 has a connecting piece 44 to which a pressurized water supply hose can be connected.
  • a further connection piece 46 is located perpendicularly below the connection piece 42, onto which a hose leading to the lifting hose 26 can be attached.
  • the valve housing 42 contains an inlet valve 48 and an identical outlet valve 50.
  • Both valves 48, 50 each have a valve tappet 52 which is slidably mounted in a stepped bore of the valve housing 42 with a vertical axis, has a valve plate 54 with a sealing ring near its lower end and is prestressed against a valve seat 58 by means of a coil spring 56.
  • a first annular space 60 is formed above the valve seat 58, in which the bore of the connection 44 opens.
  • a second annular space 62 slightly larger in diameter, is formed, in which the bore of the connection 46 opens.
  • the outlet valve 50 contains a first annular space 64 above the valve seat 58 and a second annular space 66 downstream of the valve seat 58, in which the valve spring 56 is located. In this second annulus 66, an obliquely downward emptying bore with outlet opening 68 opens.
  • the lower annulus 62 of the inlet valve 48 is connected to the upper annular chamber 64 of the outlet valve 50 via an obliquely increasing bore 70.
  • the axis of the bore lies in the central vertical longitudinal plane of the valve housing 42 and intersects the axes of the two valve lifters 52.
  • the upper end of the connecting bore 70 is closed by a screw plug, as is schematically illustrated at 72.
  • the two valve lifters 52 protrude upward from the valve housing 42 and have a neck-like constriction 74 under the plunger head.
  • a rocker 76 is mounted on the valve housing 42 so as to be pivotable about a transverse axis 78 in a central transverse plane which has the same longitudinal distances from the two valve tappets 52.
  • the rocker 76 has two key fields 80, 82 which run into one another with a constant curvature.
  • two projections with actuating surfaces 84, 86 are formed on the rocker 76, which are shown in FIG. 4 shown neutral position of the rocker 26 lie just above the heads of the valve lifters 52.
  • a rectangular recess 88 is provided for the rocker 76 in the lifting plate 24, so that the rocker 76 protrudes only slightly beyond the top surface of the lifting plate 24.
  • the valve tappet 52 is moved downward and the connecting piece 46 leading to the lifting hose 26 communicates with the connection 44 leading to the pressurized water supply, so that the lifting hose 26 is filled with pressurized water and the lifting plate 24 is raised becomes. If the user releases the rocker 76, the valve spring 56 ensures that the inlet valve 48 is closed, the valve tappet 52 returning the rocker 76 to its neutral position. If, on the other hand, you press the keypad 82 of the rocker 76, the outlet valve 50 opens and the lifting hose 26 empties through the housing bore 70 and the two annular spaces 64, 66 of the outlet valve 50, the water through the Outlet opening 68 runs out.
  • a plastic piece is mounted in the two rails 22 of the lifting plate 24 and / or in the rails 22 of the base plate 12, to which the respective sliding bearing 20 of the scissor frames 32 and 28 run when the lifting end position of the lifting plate 24 has been reached.
  • the water pressure in the inlet valve 48 possibly reduced by a pressure reducing valve, then builds up on both sides of the valve seat 58, so that the valve spring 56 closes the inlet valve.
  • the outlet valve 50 is preferably also designed as an overpressure safety valve, the strength of the valve spring 56 being dimensioned such that when an adjustable working pressure in the range of approximately 3 to 6 bar is exceeded, the valve 50 opens, so that the pressure in the lifting hose 26 is relieved.
  • a path-dependent shut-off of the inlet valve 48 can be achieved.
  • a pivot lever 90 is used, which has a longitudinal slot 92 with an insertion opening in its central region and into which the neck-like constriction 74 of the valve tappet 52 of the Inlet valve 48 engages. This pivot lever 90 is therefore supported by the valve tappet 52 of the inlet valve 48 with little vertical play. The two ends of the pivot lever 90 are bent, the right-angled offset being used for pivoting the pivot lever 90 on the valve housing 42.
  • This right-angled offset lies between the transverse axis 78 of the rocker 76 and a cover-side projection of the valve housing 42.
  • the pivot lever 90 is provided with a wedge surface 94 which extends approximately at an angle of 60 ° to the horizontal.
  • This beveling of the pivot lever 90 lies between two lateral wall sections, in which horizontal elongated holes 96 are formed, which are penetrated by a crank 98 of a bracket 100.
  • Two transversely aligned elongated holes 102 are provided in the two rails 22 of the lifting plate 24 and are penetrated by the bracket 100.
  • a spring 104 (FIG. 2) pulls the bracket 100 to one end of the elongated holes 102.
  • the offset 98 then takes the one shown in FIG.
  • the stroke limit switch described above is very precise because it acts directly on the valve tappet 52, so that any play of the rocker 76 is without influence.
  • the necessary stroke of the two valve lifters 52 is only very small and in practice is less than 2 mm.
  • the last-mentioned, path-dependent actuation of the inlet valve 48 can be used instead of a mechanical stop in the rails 22, but also in addition to such stops, in particular if they are designed as damping buffers.
