Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lifting device for people with reduced mobility, for insertion in a bathtub, with a seat plate and a support frame which supports the seat plate and with a hydraulic lifting device (hose cylinder).
  • a lever control is provided, which can often not be operated by people with reduced mobility, or a cable control is provided which is easy to use, but with the risk that the free end containing the operating device slips out of your hand, falls and is then no longer palpable.
  • a lifting device which contains a manually operated pneumatic lifting device, which is generally not operable by a disabled person.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of designing such a lifting device in such a way that it is easy to operate, grants movement-impaired people a good hold during the entire use and thereby makes the use as comfortable as possible and ensures great operational reliability.
  • these operating buttons cannot inadvertently get out of the reach of the disabled person and, on the other hand, stop the further movement of the lifting device as soon as they are released.
  • the lifting device designed in this way works extremely safely and stops its movement as soon as an operating button is released, so that it cannot be unwanted to be transported further.
  • the flush arrangement of the actuation buttons also prevents unwanted actuation by placing it on top. However, this also makes it possible to switch on the lifting device by simply folding the side panel in and to let it move into the respective end position without constantly pressing the actuation button.
  • a particularly advantageous development of the lifting device according to the invention is given in that the operating buttons built into the seat plate are connected directly to two valves, one of which is switched on between a water pipe and the lifting device (hose cylinder) and the other between the lifting device and a free outlet .
  • a fastening part in the form of a loop and a button or a bolt which can be inserted into a grommet is provided on the side part having the button.
  • a rocker arm is mounted on the lifting device, which acts in the upper end position of the lifting device on a shut-off valve arranged in the water pipe and closes it.
  • a further advantageous development of the lifting device according to the invention is provided in that a backrest and a device for selectively adjusting the backrest inclination and a scissor-like base frame are provided, against which an attachment connected to the backrest can lie, the attachment with its upper in essentially vertically extending end is fastened in a rotatably mounted carrier (pivot bearing), in which the backrest also engages and with its lower end facing away from it slidably abuts the base frame.
  • the slidability can be achieved by appropriate shaping of the lower end.
  • a cap-shaped sliding piece is placed on the lower end of the attachment resting on the base frame.
  • the backrest has two supports directed downwards against a seat plate, each of which is removably inserted into a pivot bearing, and if downward levers are fastened in this pivot bearing, which are able to engage non-positively on struts of the underframe, and if so Holes are provided in the seat plate for receiving the supports of the backrest.
  • a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that two pivot bearings, one behind the other in the axial direction and fastened to the seat plate of the seat device, are provided, in each of which a support for the backrest and a lever are fastened.
  • a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that a valve arrangement and a spring-loaded valve body and an actuating plunger acting against this spring are provided, internal inlet and outlet lines being arranged transversely to the direction of movement of the valve body in the valve arrangement.
  • the force required to move the valve body is thus very low and a relatively weak spring load is sufficient, by means of which the valve body is brought into its closed position. To actuate the valve, only this slight spring load then has to be overcome, while the pressure medium to be controlled by the valve exerts no or only a very slight force on the valve body.
  • two parallel valves are arranged in a common valve housing, which have a connecting line running transversely to the direction of movement of the valve body, to which a line leading to a working cylinder is connected, and if diametrically to this connecting line to each of the two Valves an inlet or outlet line is connected.
  • Another advantageous embodiment of the invention is that a rotatable and longitudinally displaceable seat plate and a support plate formed from individual chain-link-like parts connected to one another by hinges are provided.
  • the support plate has a recess which is reversely T-shaped in cross-section and runs over the individual sections, into which a corresponding attachment of an essentially circular seat plate engages.
  • the seat plate is guided cleanly in the longitudinal direction and can still be rotated easily.
  • This configuration also enables a very low overall height, which is particularly advantageous when used for a bath tub lift, since the upper edge of the seat is close to the bath tub floor when the lift is in the drained state.
  • each of the sections is provided on both sides with two hinges aligned with one another.
  • a very advantageous embodiment of the invention is that the hinges are held together by a cylindrical pivot pin, which has a nose-shaped projection on its hinge-facing and tapered end, which engages in an annular groove and thereby the pivot pin in the hinge in the axial direction specifies.
  • this end can deflect together with the nose-shaped projection when the pivot pin is inserted and then engages in the groove when fully inserted.
  • the top of the seat plate is provided with a circular depression which takes up almost the entire surface.
  • a soft underlay can be placed in this recess, which increases the seating comfort considerably.
  • the outer edge of the seat plate is bevelled on its underside.
  • the parts of the support plate are made of plastic and are provided with recesses on their underside.
  • a lifting device is generally inserted into the bathtub in the flat, collapsed state and then raised so that a person can then sit on the lift or lift it up.
  • a stop (182) for the upper end position in which a limit switch (185) is provided for switching off the pressure medium, wherein a pressure cushion, a compression or tension spring or a similar pressure-building device is provided on the stop provided in the upper end position, against which the device moves when starting up.
  • the pressure cushion is arranged between the horizontally displaceable, rotatably mounted scissor arm of a scissor-like underframe and an end position stop assigned to the scissor arm.
  • a foam cushion is provided as the pressure cushion.
  • the horizontally displaceable scissor arm is movably supported on a horizontal bottom rail which has a U-shaped cross-sectional profile open at the top and into which the pressure cushion is clamped.
  • FIG. 1 denotes a lifting device, which consists of a support frame 2 and a hydraulic hose cylinder 3 engaging thereon.
  • the support frame 2 consists of an upper and lower frame between which four scissors-like struts are arranged.
  • On the upper frame is a seat plate 4, in which two actuating buttons 5 and 6 are embedded. These actuation buttons are each mechanically connected to a valve 7 or 8, which is closed in the rest position of the actuation button and opened in the pressed position. Both actuating buttons 5 and 6 are spring-loaded and return immediately to their initial position in which the valves are closed when released.
  • the valve 7 used for starting up is connected to a water pipe 9, in the course of which a valve 10, which is also open in a normal manner, is provided.
  • This valve 10 is engaged by a rocker arm 11 which is actuated by one of the scissor-like struts 12 in the upper end position of the lifting device 1, as a result of which the valve 10 is closed.
  • a supply line 13 goes from valve 7 to the hose cylinder 3, whereby when the actuation button 5 is pressed this hose cylinder is acted upon with water and the lifting device is raised.
  • the second valve 8 is also connected to this supply line 13, the discharge line 14 of which opens into the bathtub 15 in which the lifting device is located.
  • the actuation button 6 is pressed in, as a result of which the valve 8 opens and the water in the hose cylinder 3 drains into the bathtub 15.
  • a mutual locking of the two operating buttons 5 and 6 is not necessary, since in the event of an accidental simultaneous actuation of both buttons, only the bathtub is filled with water, which can be switched off by simply releasing the button 6.
  • a side part 16 is articulated on both sides of the seat plate 4, only one of which has been shown, however, and which serves for safety, in particular when the seat plate is raised, so that no body part can be pinched.
  • a longitudinal slot 17 is provided, in which a button 18 is mounted for longitudinal displacement.
  • the button 18 in its respective end position in the longitudinal slot presses either the actuation button 5 or the actuation button 6, as a result of which the lifting device moves up or down.
  • this carries a loop 19 which can be buttoned into a button 20 on the underside of the seat plate 4.
  • a rubber grommet can also be inserted into the side part 16 and the seat plate 4, through which a connecting bolt can be inserted, in order to ensure the safe actuation of the two valves.
  • 41 denotes a seat device which has a seat plate 42 has, which is mounted on a scissor-like base 43.
  • a rotary bearing 44 is fastened to this seat plate 42 in a manner not shown, in which supports 45 of a backrest are inserted from above and a shoulder 46 is inserted from below.
  • a cap 47 made of a slidable material is attached to the lower end of this extension 46, with which this extension lies against a strut of the base frame 43.
  • the shoulder 46 which abuts the cap 47 also pivots and rotates the pivot bearing 44.
  • the supports 45 of the backrest are also set to be flatter.
  • 51 designates a height-adjustable seat device as used as a bath tub lift.
  • This seat device has a seat plate 52 which is mounted on a scissor-like base 53 and is adjustable in height.
  • a pivot bearing 54 is fastened to the seat plate 52 and carries a support 55 of a backrest 56 in an upper bore and a lever 57 in a lower bore, of which the support 55 is arranged to be removable.
  • the lever 57 rests on the lower frame 53 with a cap 58 made of slidable material, which cap is attached to its lower end and inevitably follows its movement when lowering and lifting the seat plate 52.
  • the pivot bearing 54 is also rotated and the support 55 or the backrest 56 attached to it is made flatter or steeper.
  • a corresponding elongated cutout 59 is provided in the seat plate 52.
  • two vertical bores 60 and 61 are arranged in the seat plate, into which the support 55 can optionally be inserted, as a result of which the backrest then always assumes an upright position regardless of the seat height.
  • two supports 55 are expediently arranged on the backrest 56, which in the exemplary embodiment shown are each inserted into a separate pivot bearing 54.
  • Each of these two pivot bearings also carries a lever 57 which acts on the base frame in a manner not shown.
  • 71 denotes a valve housing in which two valve bodies 72 and 73 aligned parallel to one another are displaceably mounted in vertically running bores 74 and 75.
  • a spring 76 or 77 engages, which is able to press the valve body into its upper end position.
  • an actuating button 80 or 81 engages via a plunger 78, 79, with which the valve body can be brought into its lower end position.
  • a bore 82 runs horizontally through the valve housing 71 and intersects the bores 74 and 75 and is provided at the respective outlet from the valve housing 71 with a connection 83, 84 for a hose line (not shown).
  • a further bore 85 opens into this bore 82, which serves as a connecting line for the two valves. to which - in a manner not shown - a working cylinder can be connected.
  • connection 84 which can be a water line when the valve is used in a bath tub lift
  • the valve body 73 is brought into the position shown in the position in which the valve is open via the actuation button 81, so that Incoming water of the working cylinder is actuated and the bathtub lift is raised.
  • the valve body is brought up into its closed position by the spring 77, whereby the water supply is shut off; however, the pressure applied remains and the bath lift remains in its raised position.
  • valve body 72 When the actuating button 80 is pressed in, the valve body 72 is brought down from its closed position into its open position, as a result of which the pressure medium can escape via the connection 73; the work cylinder is relieved and the bath lift moves downwards when one person loads it.
  • a line open at its other end is expediently connected to the connection 83, so that the water used as the pressure medium is discharged into the bathtub without splashing.
  • a seat device which consists of a support plate 92 and a seat plate 93.
