Definitions

  • a bathtub usable lifter for the disabled which has a floor frame, a lifting plate, a guide frame connecting this to the floor frame, and a hydraulic lifting device with a valve device arranged below the floor level of the lifting plate, and a hand control unit connected to it.
  • Such a lifter is known from DE-A-3 908 231.
  • the hand control unit has a slide which is connected to the valve device by means of a Bowden cable.
  • Two working valves of the valve device lie in axial alignment in a bore in which a tappet slide is slidably mounted, into which a double-armed lever engages, at the other end of which the soul of the Bowden cable is attached.
  • the balls of the working valves are prestressed in the closed position by means of springs and are additionally loaded by the supply pressure in the line system.
  • the slide of the manual control valve must overcome the closing forces of the balls of the working valves in both directions in order to move them to the open position. For a disabled person who cannot always fully control his movements, the operation is problematic.
  • the known valve device only enables the lifting process and the lowering process of the lifting plate to be controlled. Any other hydraulic drives would require a separate valve device with an additional manual control valve.
  • EP-A-0622042 falling under Article 54 (3) shows a lifter with a backrest, the inclination of which can be changed by means of a hydraulic swivel device.
  • a second valve device with a separate manual control valve would therefore be required for its actuation.
  • the object of the invention is to further develop the lifter of the type mentioned in such a way that the actuating forces on the hand control valve from the actuating forces in the Working valves are made independent, so that even large-area working valves with very low forces can be opened on the hand control valve.
  • the manual control device is connected to the valve device by means of a plurality of flexible hoses and has a number of essentially identically designed manually operable servo valves, each of which has a control chamber on one side of a valve seat, in which opens one of the hoses, that a pressure chamber is formed in each servo valve on the other side of the valve seat, that the pressure chambers of all servo valves are connected to a common hose of the plurality of hoses, that all servo valves are hydraulically and / or mechanically pretensioned in the closed position, that the control chamber of each servo valve is connected in its closed position to a drain line and that each servo valve has a manually operable actuator which from a rest position against the action of a restoring force in one or more A Working positions is movable, in which or which the pressure chamber communicates with the control chamber, but this is blocked off from the drain line.
  • the servo valves can be made very small and therefore only require extremely low actuating forces.
  • the valve device can comprise any number of working valves. The number depends on the number of hydraulic drives on the lifter. The number of servo valves in the hand control unit corresponds to the number of working valves. Any number of hydraulic drives can be controlled with one and the same hand control device.
  • the manual actuator has a spherical cap-shaped bearing part which is pivotally mounted on complementary spherical surfaces of the housing of the hand control device in at least two mutually perpendicular planes, the lifting plate being moved up and down in one pivot plane and the inclination of the backrest being changed in the other plane.
  • This bearing part either has a circumferentially closed outer flange or at least four circumferentially distributed radial arms. In the neutral position of the manual actuator, the four spring-actuated actuators press against this outer flange or the radial arms on the end face, so that the actuator is held in its central position.
  • a lifter 10 which can be used in bathtubs consists of a floor frame or frame 13, on which a scissor arm-like guide frame 14 is arranged, which carries a lifting plate 16, a lifting device 12 in the form of an end-closed pressure-resistant hose extending between this and the floor frame 13.
  • a backrest 18 is detachably arranged on the lifting plate 16 by means of a swivel fitting.
  • a hydraulic swivel device 19 is used to adjust the inclination of the backrest 18.
  • a multi-valve housing 20 On the underside of the lifting plate 16 is a multi-valve housing 20, into which a pressurized water supply line 22, a connecting hose 24 leading to the lifting hose 12, a connecting hose 26 leading to the pivoting device 19 and a spiral cable 28 open, at the end of which a hand control device 30 is arranged.
  • the multi-valve housing 20 contains four working valves which are controlled hydraulically. Manual controls on the multi-valve housing 20 are therefore omitted.
  • the lifting plate 18 does not require any openings in the area of the multi-valve housing 20.
  • the hand control device 30 consists of a two-part housing 32 in which there is a servo valve device with four servo valves 34, the axes of which are perpendicular to the bottom surface of the housing 32 and intersect the corners of a square.
  • the spiral cable 28 contains six thin hoses, namely four control hoses 36, a pressurized water supply hose 38 and an emptying hose 40.
  • the six hoses are sheathed by the spiral cable 28, which has a length of approximately 1.5 meters.
  • the drain hose 40 could be omitted, in which case the cavities formed between the outer surfaces of the hoses 36, 38 and the inner surface of the spiral cable 28 ensure the water backflow into the multi-valve housing 20.
  • the spiral cable has a rotatable screw sleeve in which a coupling insert is located , to which the six lines, each with a hole, are connected are.
  • a coupling insert On the multi-valve housing 20 there is a complementary counter-coupling piece into which the coupling insert of the cable 28 can be inserted.
  • the screw sleeve is then screwed onto the counterpart and the six lines 36, 38, 40 of the cable 28 are pressure-tightly connected to a corresponding channel system in the multi-valve housing 20.
  • the four control hoses 36 each lead to one of the four working valves in the multi-valve housing.
  • FIGURES 2 and 3 show control unit 30 in actual size.
  • the servo valve device in the hand control unit 30 comprises a base plate 42, which is part of the lower housing part, furthermore a middle plate 44 and a cover plate 46.
  • the three plates 42-46 are screwed together with a sealing washer by means of a bolt 48.
  • the four control hoses 36 and the pressure water supply hose 38 open in a row side by side (FIG. 6) in the middle plate at the same height.
  • Three coaxial longitudinal bores 48 of the hoses 36 open directly into cylinder chambers 50 of the servo valves 34.
  • the fourth longitudinal bore 52 is connected to the cylinder bore 50 of the fourth control hose 36 via a transverse channel 54.
  • each cylinder bore 50 there is an insert sleeve 56 in which a cylindrical actuator 58 with radial play is arranged.
  • a central housing head 62 has four pot-like depressions near its outer circumference, which engage in the cylindrical bores 50 and in turn guide the actuators 58.
  • the housing head 62 has a hemispherical bearing surface 64 for a circularly contoured bearing plate 66, which is formed in the central central region with a spherical cap-shaped counter surface 68.
  • the bearing plate 66 carries an actuating lever 70 which is vertical when the bearing plate 66 is horizontal and which extends through a link insert 72 and protrudes upward from the housing.
  • the link insert 72 has two intersecting guide slots 74, which limit the possibility of movement of the lever 70 to the longitudinal plane and the transverse plane.
  • the four actuators 58 are each pressed by means of a spring 76 upwards into contact with the bearing plate 66, which is thus held in the horizontal position. A compressible ring on the top stabilizes this position.
  • chambers 80 with an enlarged diameter are formed between the base plate 42 and the middle plate 44, in which there are spherical valve bodies 82 which are pressed against a valve seat 86 by means of springs 84.
  • the bottom plate 42 has a circumferential groove 88 which the chambers 80 together connects and into which in turn a longitudinal groove 90 (FIG. 6) opens, which is connected to the pressurized water supply hose 38 via a vertical bore 92.
  • the pressure chambers 80 are thus constantly filled with pressurized water.
  • the actuators 58 have axial bores which open at the end face at the bottom.
  • These axial bores are connected via radial bores to the annular gap between actuator 58 and insert sleeve 56, and these annular spaces communicate via at least one radial bore 94 in insert sleeve 56 and four radial bores 96 in housing cover plate 46 with the annular chamber 98 formed therein.
  • the drain line 40 is inserted into the servo valve housing in the area of the cover plate 46 and is connected to the drain channel system via an axial bore 100.
  • the control chambers 102 above the valve seat 86 are therefore depressurized, since they constantly communicate with the drainage channel system, which in turn connects the drainage line 40 to the multi-valve housing 20.
  • this drain line is brought up to a housing mouth, so that this line can constantly drain into the bathtub.
  • the spring 76 of the actuated actuator 58 ensures that the actuator is reset, as a result of which the closing body 82 blocks the corresponding control hose 36 from the pressurized water supply and at the same time connects it to the drain line 40.
  • the pressurized water that has entered the working valve in the multi-valve housing 20 is thus pressed back into the manual control device 30 via the control line 36, which is ensured by a mechanical spring in the working valve.
  • the water that is pushed back then passes through the drain line 40 again into the multi-way valve 20 and runs from there into the tub.
  • the working valve closes.
  • the hand control lever 70 has returned to its neutral position.
  • the manual control valve 30 has a narrow elongated handle 104 and a widened and raised head 106.
  • the bottom plate 42 of the housing 30 is extended beyond the upper housing part.
  • a suspension eye 108 is formed in this extension part.
  • the hand control device 30 has a length of approximately 100 mm to 110 mm without a suspension eye 108.
  • the width of the handle 104 is 30 mm.
  • FIGURES 2 and 3 show the hand control device 30 in natural size.
