Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for unloading tiltable troughs of wagons, a wagon for conveying and unloading bulk goods, comprising a chassis and at least one trough arranged thereon, which can be tilted to both sides by means of fluid cylinders, the side walls of which can be pivoted for unloading, and the use of a radio remote control .
- ballast, sand, overburden and other bulk materials are moved during track construction work.
- So-called double-sided dump trucks can be used for efficient transport.
- a generic wagon is known from the magazine “Eisenbahningenieur” 41/5, page 244. It is a railway wagon with a structure similar to that used for trucks.
- a trough is tipped to one side of the track for unloading by fluid cylinders arranged in front of and behind the trough on the chassis, which can be connected to the compressed air system of a train.
- the side walls which are attached to the upper edge of the trough, open by gravity to such an extent that the bulk material slides off the bottom of the trough after reaching a certain tipping angle.
- the lack of such wagons can be unfavorable
- a lifting and tipping wagon has been proposed with the AT 200181, in which a car body is raised to a level above the chassis by means of a support cylinder and then unloaded to one side or the other as a complete car body or, assuming a corresponding design, portionedly unloaded by tipping individual compartments can be. It is provided to unlock the support cylinder heads with the tilt axis by hydraulically actuated movement devices against spring pressure from the rest position.
- the side walls are divided into upper and lower folding halves, the lower side wall parts being able to be pivoted about an axis mounted at the level of the car floor by means of hydraulically actuated opening cylinders, which presumably are not disclosed, when the lifting cylinder reaches its end Tilt division has reached.
- a gimbal-mounted lifting cylinder in the middle under the car floor, the support cylinders and the unlocking cylinders are alternately pressurized or relieved when a control lever is manually operated along a control link with locking positions for specified
- the lifting cylinder can also remain in intermediate positions, while the unlocking and obviously also the opening cylinders can only be moved to the start and end positions. It is optionally stated that the tilt angle of the
- Car body can be limited; a purpose for such a limitation is not apparent, especially since there is a dependency between the position, the struts defining the tipping point and the floor of the car.
- the energy for lifting and tipping the car body can be provided by electric motors with a power supply through a network at the unloading point, an internal combustion engine or a hydraulic pump which is actuated by a battery charged by the wheel axle via a generator.
- a motor tipping wagon in which a tipping box has an air cylinder on each end wall for both tipping directions, which is articulated on the end wall and on a cross member arranged above the chassis is stored.
- a protective roof protects the tipping cylinders against falling bulk goods when loading the wagons.
- the on-board compressed air supply for the tipping cylinders should be stopped before reaching a defined tipping angle, in order to enable smooth and bumpless unloading through the subsequent expansion of air in the cylinders.
- Each of the two side flaps consists of a sheet metal wall stiffened by folding and rolled profiles.
- two relief levers and three actuating levers are welded to each side, which connect the side flap to the car body in an articulated manner.
- the side flap is opened by the weight of the flap and the pressure of the load.
- the Opening of the side flap is controlled by curved parts of the operating lever.
- the side flaps are closed automatically after unloading with the help of the tilting mechanisms and the same actuation levers, which are held in the closed position of the side flaps by a locking mechanism.
- the dump truck is also extremely heavy in terms of its stability, requires four large lifting cylinders per trough and does not allow the bulk goods to be dosed unloaded. If the tilt cylinders are operated incorrectly, the side flaps open automatically.
- the invention is therefore based on the problem of creating a rational, reliable method and a device for improving transport and unloading for railway wagons which are intended for the transport of bulk goods.
- the solution according to the invention initially comprises a method for unloading tiltable troughs of wagons for conveying and unloading bulk goods, the individual work steps being remotely controllable, in particular being able to be triggered by radio remote control, and then proceeding as follows:
- Tilting direction for example by actuating a corresponding hydraulic cylinder, Extending the side wall into the target position, raising the skip to the target position, the target position being specifiable either by the operator or by a program which, depending on the parameters that can be selected within design limits, such as the time of unloading during transport - while driving or during the standstill at the unloading point - the desired bulk distance at a distance from the track body and / or the desired discharge current and / or the current loading of the lifting cylinder, for example because the lifting cylinder must not be moved into position at a certain side wall position, and unloading of the bulk material and subsequent Resetting the tipped body into the starting position by means of appropriate commands via the remote control or radio remote control.
- the solution according to the invention also comprises wagons with devices which have means for influencing the bulk width and / or direction of the bulk material.
- Head surface has an articulated lifting cylinder, which is also articulated on the wagon and the trough can be emptied on both sides of the wagon.
- the bottom of the body is connected to the side walls that can be opened when unloading. As a result, the side wall forms a closed plane with the bottom of the trough after opening and acts like one
- Extension slide so that bulk goods can be tipped over a slope of a track without loss.
- the one-piece side wall is to be opened and closed continuously by a controllable fluid cylinder, for example a hydraulic cylinder.
- a controllable fluid cylinder for example a hydraulic cylinder.
- the side walls are also provided with guide devices for the bulk material, for example an end plate at the beginning and end of the wagon or the side wall of the trough.
- guide devices for the bulk material for example an end plate at the beginning and end of the wagon or the side wall of the trough.
- This guide device enables e.g. during a slow train journey or moving the wagon, with the side wall open, to be able to unload the trough contents in a metered manner along a track.
- the troughs can also be equipped with further guide devices on the trough bottom itself or on the side wall in order to allow further metering of the bulk material or to be able to set a defined discharge current per unit length of the trough.
- Such a guiding device can also divide the entire trough as a bulkhead and the bulkhead can be firmly connected to the chassis on which the trough rests. This version has the advantage that in the event of heavy braking or an impact of the wagon, the entire load is not shifted until it presses on the top surface of the trough or overflows there.
- the swivel joint between the bottom of the trough and the side wall is also covered, for example by a round tubular cap.
- This design prevents bulk material from getting stuck between the side wall and the floor or sliding at this point through the gap between the floor of the trough and the side wall. This ensures that the side wall can be closed again without any problems.
- these corners of the trough could also be made, for example, by overlapping rubber beads or Rubber strips must be covered.
- pivot joints which are combined with round tubes are cheaper than such rubbers because they can be formed as an integral part of the side wall and / or the wagon floor.
- the trough walls of the wagon consist of a stable construction which consists of profiles and sheets which at least partially cover these profiles.
- Various L or double T or tubular profiles are used as profiles, the edges of the side walls should consist of round tubes which at the same time assume a pivot function at the point of attachment between the floor and the side wall.
- the top surfaces of the troughs are preferably formed obliquely with an inclination to the upper trough opening.
- the lifting cylinders can be attached directly to the upper edge of the trough - without a longer lever arm - for an immediate introduction of force.
- the lifting cylinders are articulated vertically on a load-distributing crossbar.
- the traverse also serves as a longitudinal stop for the trough to ensure impact protection.
- the wagon has locking devices for the side walls, which can also be actuated by fluid cylinders.
- the locking devices are preferably designed as linkages which can be acted upon by a multi-stroke cylinder. Due to the multiple stroke, different boom positions can be controlled on each side of the wagon, which make it possible to lock and unlock the side wall / side wall and to release the trough for the selected tipping side or lock. All cylinders can be actuated by drive units to be assigned to each wagon, for example a hydraulic cylinder with corresponding control.
- the drive units receive their power supply either from the train pulling the wagons, by coupling the electrical connections between the wagons, or receive their own power supply unit.
- a charger can be coupled to the wheel axle of the moving wagon in order to receive power for a battery as a supply for signaling devices, drive energy or starting energy of an internal combustion engine.
- Other energy stores such as springs, flywheels or fluid pressure stores can also be filled in order to operate all drives via the energy store, if necessary.
- the troughs can be provided with covering devices for the drive units and / or the cylinders and the power supply, which are designed in the form of dump chutes and after the loading process itself by cylinders can be pivoted in such a way that any bulk material resting on them can be tipped into the adjacent trough.
- the lifting cylinders of the trough are coupled to the covering devices with a linkage.
- the cover devices are pivoted by a small initial stroke of the cylinder.
- a wagon equipped in this way in which all functional parts can be moved by hydraulic cylinders and / or electric drives / electro-hydraulic drives, is ideally suited to carry out the unloading or loading functions by remote control.
- This can be a control system arranged on the wagon, preferably with jog mode for the hydraulic cylinders.
- radio remote control is even more effective.
- each wagon or better, every trough must be equipped with a receiver that can be controlled by a portable transmitter.
- each trough has a corresponding display and has its own identity device, which can be addressed by coding.
- the display can consist of a signal lamp that can be activated with different colors or different flashing times or the like.
- each trough is to be provided with further identifications that indicate the direction of the wagon, for example a red spotlight on the left side of the wagon, which can also be seen in the dark, and a green spotlight on the right side of the wagon.
- each trough should also be assigned a unique code, which can either be read by an identity device on the wagon or the trough when the train arrives, or is transmitted, for example, by radio from the loading point or an automatic reading device.
- the identity device provided by the sender of the Radio remote control can be addressed, can be directly coupled to a control device, for example a receiver that responds to a certain code, so that certain radio signals trigger certain drive functions.
- electrically controllable hydraulic drives are preferably used for the movement of the trough parts or locking elements.
- the radio remote control can be equipped with a panel on the transmitter, which includes both the identification number of the wagon to be addressed and clearly symbolized buttons for tilting, lifting and lowering movements and an emergency stop to abort an unloading action.
- the troughs In order to unload such a train, he only has to select one or more of the troughs to be tipped by his transmitter by entering the appropriate ID numbers and waiting for the signal feedback, for example a flashing light on the selected troughs. Then he selects the tipping direction, left or right of the track, and waits for confirmation that the correct one Tilt direction was selected.
- the corresponding side wall of the trough can then be hydraulically unlocked by means of a transmission pulse; the side wall is moved hydraulically to the target position and the trough is raised until the discharge current begins.
- An alternative wagon design with two, three or more tipping troughs can have a control which blocks a simultaneous tipping of all troughs to one side and thus increases the stability of the wagon. According to the state of the art, it is a requirement to prevent the risk of tipping over by attaching rail safety pliers.
