Definitions

  • the burial chamber known from the document US-A 2,806,278 with a rectangular wall in plan consists of prefabricated parts on which a lid can be placed, the side walls and end walls comprising the wall being able to be produced at the place of use from rigid elements and the elements and the lid consist of a material with a relatively low basis weight, which is also corrosion-resistant in the thickness direction and is highly resistant to soil. Furthermore, the burial chamber has a foundation into which the side walls and end walls can be inserted.
  • the two side walls and the end walls are inserted into the foundation in appropriately designed grooves.
  • the end walls engage in straight grooves which are provided in the side walls.
  • a liquid adhesive provided in the grooves ensures that the connections between the side walls and the end walls are airtight and watertight.
  • the not yet complete burial chamber is let into the ground. After a coffin has been placed in this burial chamber, which is already buried in the ground, the burial chamber is closed with a lid. Grooves are provided in the cover to accommodate the edges of the side walls and end walls. In order to also achieve an airtight and watertight connection between the lid and these edges, liquid adhesive is also provided here, which brings about the desired properties after it has hardened. This ensures that the coffin is airtight and watertight against its surroundings.
  • the object is therefore to create a burial chamber of the type mentioned at the outset, in which there are no transport, assembly and disposal problems and which can be reused without difficulty.
  • the rigid elements of the grave chamber according to the innovation are designed so that the wall composed of the elements easily withstands the earth pressure in the grave. Nevertheless, the prefabricated elements have a relatively low weight due to the material properties, especially if the elements are made of stainless steel sheet. They can be easily transported from the prefabrication site to the cemetery camp. They enable space-saving storage. The transport from the cemetery to the grave site requires little equipment and personnel. Each element can be transported by hand, so that even in confined spaces in the cemetery there are no paths and transportation problems because of the need to use trolleys and the like.
  • the weight of a grave chamber according to the innovation with the external dimensions 2170 x 1100 mm is approx. 140 kg, i.e. less than the weight of a single annular wall part of a grave chamber made of concrete, if a V4A sheet metal with a thickness of 1 is used as the material for the wall mm is used.
  • the cover weighs approx. 36 kg with a sheet thickness of 1.5 mm and then has a load capacity of approx. 3 - 4 t.
  • the bending stiffness of the cover is designed so that it can easily support the weight of at least 50 cm high soil above the burial chamber.
  • the innovation readily allows a row of burial chambers to be created simultaneously or gradually, the space between the burial chambers only having to be filled with sand or the like. In the case of a single grave, sand filling between the outside of the wall and the grave walls is preferable, if the burial chamber should be easily removable from the grave.
  • ring-shaped, bending-resistant elements with a rectangular ring cross section can also be used in the context of the solution according to the innovation.
  • the prefabricated elements are designed as surface areas as end wall or side wall elements and correspond to the side walls and end walls or parts thereof with horizontal or vertical division.
  • This training has the particular advantage that space is saved during transport and storage and easy handling during assembly and disassembly is ensured.
  • a burial chamber then consists of two side wall and two end wall elements on which the cover is placed. If it is provided that two or more coffins are arranged one above the other in the burial chamber, the side and / or end walls are divided horizontally by placing corresponding side wall and end wall elements one above the other to form the burial chamber.
  • the side wall and end wall elements as well as the lid are preferably reinforced to be rigid by means of fastened or shaped profile webs. In this way, a high stability of the burial chamber can be achieved with a relatively low weight.
  • the interlocking profiles are the Supports on which the surface parts of the side wall and the end wall elements are fastened are covered at the top by the cover.
  • Vertical supports can also be provided on the wall surfaces between the corners of the burial chamber, either for the mere reinforcement of the surface parts of the side wall and end wall elements or in the case of a vertical division of the side walls and / or end walls.
  • the cover has an all-round lower edge which overlaps the wall or an upper edge all around the wall. This ensures protection of the interior of the burial chamber and, at the same time, centering of the cover on the wall.
  • the side wall elements are spaced apart from one another from the open support supports, which form mutually opposite guides for transverse profiles of a support element for a coffin and on which the support element can be affixed at a selectable height.
  • the coffin rests on the supporting element, which is positioned and guided in the mutually opposite guides when the coffin is lowered into the grave comers by the cross profiles of the supporting element engaging in these guides.
  • the support element with the coffin has reached the predetermined height in the burial chamber, the support element is attached to the support supports.
  • This arrangement allows the coffin or the coffins to be attached to the receiving supports in practically any desired height and thus to be fastened in the burial chamber, so that the arrangement of the coffins in the chamber is adapted to the respective coffin height can.
  • a change or exchange of the height position of coffins arranged in the burial chamber is possible at any time in a simple manner, because the guide of the support elements cover is protected and protected, so that no contamination can occur on the guides.
  • the support element is expediently formed from longitudinal and transverse profiles.
  • the coffin is securely received and held; on the other hand, there are sufficiently large, free cross sections so that the coffin parts, like the coffin, can fall down as well as the bones.
  • a particularly simple construction for holding the transverse profiles in the receiving supports is obtained if supporting bolts are provided which can be inserted through openings in the wall of the receiving supports at a selectable height and are held in the openings.
  • the cross profiles of the support elements rest on the support bolts.
  • the burial chamber is drained via drainage pipes laid below the ballast bed.
  • a branch pipe is led from a drainage pipe running below the burial chamber to a corner region of the burial chamber for the purpose of venting the burial chamber via the drainage pipe system. This eliminates the problems that arise when trying to vent the burial chamber through vents inserted into the cover through the soil above the burial chamber.
  • the drainage pipe system always has a sufficient cross section for ventilation.
  • the drainage and branch pipes are expedient made of a corrosion-resistant material. It is important that the drainage and ventilation of the burial chamber is always guaranteed, even over a very long period, because otherwise no decomposition can occur.
  • the decomposition process should not take more than 10 - 12 years, because otherwise the desired maximum lay time of 15 years cannot be met.
  • the side wall and end wall elements have horizontally extending profile webs, between which the filling material such as sand or soil fixes the wall of the burial chamber in the intended position, in addition to the bending stiffness achieved by the profile webs.
  • Figure 1 illustrates that a burial chamber is a general one with 1 designated wall with a rectangular cross-section, includes a cover 2 which can be placed on the wall 1 and a support element 3 for a coffin, not shown, which can be led down into the burial chamber and attached to the wall 1 at any height of the burial chamber.
  • the burial chamber does not have its own floor, but the wall 1 is placed directly on a liquid-permeable surface in the grave formed with gravel or the like.
  • the cover 2 resting on the wall 1 is covered with an approximately 50 cm high layer of earth.
  • the side walls and end walls of the wall 1, generally designated 4 and 5, are formed from side wall elements 6 and end wall elements 7, of which in the present case two of these elements are placed one on top of the other, so that a chamber height for receiving two coffins arranged one above the other is created.
  • the material for the side wall and end wall elements 6, 7 V4A stainless steel sheet with a thickness of about 1 mm use, while the cover 2 consists of the same material with a wall thickness of about 1.5 mm.
  • the outer dimensions of the burial chamber are: 2170 mm long, 1100 mm wide and approx. 1500 mm high.
  • Each of the aforementioned elements 6 and 7 is on both Sides each completed by supports 8 and 9, which are firmly connected to the surface parts of the side wall and end wall elements 6, 7, respectively.
  • the supports 8, 9 are open rectangular profiles (see FIG. 2), which are also made of stainless steel.
  • the outer supports 8, which are part of the side wall elements 6, form a guide for inner supports 9, which are each part of one of the end wall elements 7.
  • the two end walls 4, 5 are first formed from the end wall elements 7, 8 and set up at a corresponding distance from one another.
  • the side walls 4 are then formed by placing the side wall elements 6 or their outer supports 8 from above over the inner supports 9 and bringing them down in the side guides thus formed until the all-round closed wall 1 is formed.
  • two spaced-apart support brackets 18 in the manner shown in the drawing on the inside of the side wall elements 6 for receiving a cross-shaped from longitudinal and transverse profiles 16, 17 support member 3 for a coffin, not shown.
  • the ends of the transverse profiles 16 each engage in the support supports 18, which are designed as open tubular profiles, where they are guided with the coffin when the support element 3 is lowered and are held by transverse bolts, not shown, which are at practically any height of the support supports 18 in the wall of one another Receiving supports 18 opposite openings of corresponding rows of holes on the receiving supports 18 can be inserted.
  • the manufacturing material for the support element 3 and for the nozzle 18 is stainless steel sheet.
  • the cover 2 has on its underside a row of profile webs 11 which are fastened to the cover 2 at a distance from one another in order to achieve optimum bending rigidity of the cover 2.
  • one of the profile webs 11 should run above each receiving support 18.
  • the cover 2 overlaps the wall 1 by a lower edge 13 extending all around the cover 2 overlapping an upper edge 14 or 15 on the side wall or end wall elements 6, 7, so that the cover 2 on the wall 1 has a precisely aligned position occupies and thereby covers the guides or connections of the side wall and end wall elements 6, 7 formed from the outer and inner supports 8, 9.
  • a ventilation system used for the ventilation of the burial chamber is explained with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4.
  • a drainage pipe 22 from which a branch pipe 23 is guided obliquely upwards in the direction of a corner of the burial chamber.
  • the branch pipe 23 is followed by a tail pipe 24 which is guided vertically upward in the corner area and which is covered at the top with a cover 25, but in such a way that air can escape from the tail pipe 24 into the interior of the burial chamber.
  • With 19 are arranged on the bottom of the burial chamber cross supports (see. Fig. 3), which serve to stiffen the wall 1 in the floor area and to connect the opposite side walls 4.
  • Fig. 4 shows schematically a drainage and recirculation system of a plant with several grave chambers arranged side by side and one behind the other.
  • a main drain pipe 24 runs the aforementioned drainage pipe 22 transversely below a number of adjacent burial chambers, and in the region of each burial chamber a corresponding branch pipe 23 is led into the interior of the burial chamber, as shown in FIG. 3.
  • a schematically shown air exchange element is designated, which is connected to the drainage pipe system. From here, as the arrows shown in FIG. 4 illustrate, air is conducted via the free cross sections of the drainage pipes, namely the main drainage pipe 24 and the drainage pipe 22, to the relevant branch pipes 23 of the burial chambers.
  • the protection extends both to the kit for producing a grave chamber according to the innovation and to the parts of this kit as well as to the grave chamber made from the kit.
