It has two circular cylindrical segments Boundary walls and one around a vertical rotor axis rotatable rotor. Four blades are attached to the rotor, which each have a wing axis adjacent to its outer edge a basic position in which they are radial to the rotor axis, are pivotable in a pivot position, in which a free passage arises.
- the wings are in two wing sections divided, which around a parallel to the wing axis Axis are hinged together.
- the outer wing section When swinging away of a wing, the outer wing section is first pivoted, so that the inner edge of the wing in question from the inner edges of the other wings is withdrawn.
- This Construction is correspondingly complex.
- the outer wing sections are additionally in one of segments at the lower end existing rotatable bottom ring pivoted.
- a revolving door is known from GB-A-167 013, in which the Inner edges of three of the one-piece wings in the basic position locked against a mullion on the inside edge of the fourth wing is attached.
- the lock can be solved manually.
- This revolving door does not have a rotating one Bottom ring.
- the wing with the middle post must always be the last be swung away.
