Definitions
- the invention relates to a locking device, in particular for handguns, with a locking piston which pushes a cartridge into a cartridge chamber and has at least two radially projecting locking elements, with a locking housing which has a locking piston bore, a longitudinal groove per locking element and an annular space into which the locking piston bore and each longitudinal groove open and which is provided with a support surface which can be gripped behind, and with a closure sleeve which, in an open insertion position per locking element, has an extension which is aligned with the longitudinal groove of the closure piston bore, and is rotatably arranged in the annular space between the open insertion position and a locked end position.
- closure device for example in DE-C 515 972.
- the closure sleeve completely fills the annular space, and the cavity of the closure sleeve is filled by the inserted piston head and its locking elements.
- the rear end face of the closure sleeve also covers the longitudinal extensions of the closure piston bore. There is therefore no free space and the sealing piston bore is better sealed.
- US-A 3,738,223 shows a closure device with a conical closure piston head, on which a deformable element, which carries an extractor for the cartridge case and is deformed when the cartridge chamber is closed, is arranged.
- a deformable element which carries an extractor for the cartridge case and is deformed when the cartridge chamber is closed.
- the object of the invention is therefore to design a closure device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that in the event of malfunctions, the combustion piston is prevented from kicking back by the closure piston bore.
- this is achieved in that the annular space and the sealing sleeve have conical sealing surfaces on the cartridge bearing side, that a conical sealing sleeve is provided between the sealing surfaces, and in that the sealing housing has at least one gas outlet opening opening into the annular space on the circumferential side.
- the conical sealing sleeve improves the sealing of the locking piston bore. If there is a malfunction, gases entering the annular space are discharged through the peripheral gas outlet opening.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that a locking element spring-loaded to the axis of rotation of the locking sleeve and a locking recess defining the open end position are provided on the circumference of the locking sleeve.
- a locking element spring-loaded to the axis of rotation of the locking sleeve and a locking recess defining the open end position are provided on the circumference of the locking sleeve.
- a locking device forming a bayonet lock has a locking housing 1 adjoining the barrel 20 and a displaceable locking piston 8 which is provided with two, three, and possibly also a plurality of locking elements 4 on the circumference.
- the locking piston bore 2 is provided with a longitudinal groove 9 which opens into an annular space 5.
- the locking piston 8 advanced into the closed position can be rotated about the axis 3, the locking elements 4 being supported on the end face 6 of the annular space 5, so that the front end 22 of the locking piston 8 resting on the cartridge is inserted into the cartridge chamber formed at the end of the barrel 20 19 is pressed in and locked.
- the annular space 5 tapers towards the cartridge chamber 19 and has a conical sealing surface 7.
- a conical sealing sleeve 16 (FIG. 2) and a locking sleeve 10 having a conical sealing surface 15 are rotatably arranged, the bore 18 aligned with the locking piston bore 2 for each locking element 4 having an extension 11, so that the locking piston 8 advanced into the closed position Filling sleeve 10 completely.
- the closure sleeve 10 is in two end positions by a locking element 12 locked, which is pressed by means of a spring 21 into circumferential locking recesses 13, 14 of the closure sleeve 10.
- FIGS. 1 and 4 show the unlocked end position of the locking sleeve 10, in which the longitudinal grooves 9 of the locking piston bore 2 and the extensions 11 of the locking sleeve 10 are aligned with one another, and the locking element 12 is pressed into the locking recess 13.
- the locking piston 8 is now locked, the locking sleeve 10 is also rotated, the locking element 12 snapping into the second locking recess 14 (FIG. 3).
- the locking elements 4 are supported on the support surface 6 (FIG. 1) of the annular space 5 and the conical sealing surface 15 of the sealing sleeve 10 is pressed against the conical sealing surface 7 of the annular space 5, so that the cartridge chamber 19 seals against the sealing piston bore 2.
- the sealing piston 8 fills the sealing sleeve 10, which in turn completely fills the annular space 5 and covers the longitudinal grooves 9 of the sealing piston bore 2 (FIG. 3).
- the annular space 5 is provided with lateral gas outlet openings 17 (FIG. 1), so that in the event of a malfunction, the gases do not escape through the sealing piston bore 2, but can exit through the openings 17.

Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- eine Explosionsdarstellung des Riegelbereiches des Verschlußkolbens,
- Fig. 3
