Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a locking device, in particular for handguns, with a locking piston which pushes a cartridge into a cartridge chamber and has at least two radially projecting locking elements, with a locking housing which has a locking piston bore, a longitudinal groove per locking element and an annular space into which the locking piston bore and each longitudinal groove open and which is provided with a support surface which can be gripped behind, and with a closure sleeve which, in an open insertion position per locking element, has an extension which is aligned with the longitudinal groove of the closure piston bore, and is rotatably arranged in the annular space between the open insertion position and a locked end position.
Such a closure device is shown for example in DE-C 515 972. The closure sleeve completely fills the annular space, and the cavity of the closure sleeve is filled by the inserted piston head and its locking elements. The rear end face of the closure sleeve also covers the longitudinal extensions of the closure piston bore. There is therefore no free space and the sealing piston bore is better sealed.
A 3,738,223 shows a closure device with a conical closure piston head, on which a deformable element, which carries an extractor for the cartridge case and is deformed when the cartridge chamber is closed, is arranged. The increased pressure of the deformed areas on the conical surfaces of the annular space and the sealing piston head, as well as on the groove area of the cartridge case improves the sealing of the cartridge chamber on the locking side.
If caseless cartridges are fired, there is no separation provided by the cartridge case, and the closure-side sealing of the cartridge chamber represents a particular problem which cannot yet be satisfactorily solved with the known means. The object of the invention is therefore to design a closure device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that in the event of malfunctions, the combustion piston is prevented from kicking back by the closure piston bore.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the annular space and the sealing sleeve have conical sealing surfaces on the cartridge bearing side, that a conical sealing sleeve is provided between the sealing surfaces, and in that the sealing housing has at least one gas outlet opening opening into the annular space on the circumferential side. The conical sealing sleeve improves the sealing of the locking piston bore. If there is a malfunction, gases entering the annular space are discharged through the peripheral gas outlet opening.
In order for the locking sleeve to be in the open end position required for inserting the latch when the locking piston is moved, a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that a locking element spring-loaded to the axis of rotation of the locking sleeve and a locking recess defining the open end position are provided on the circumference of the locking sleeve. Thus, the closure sleeve cannot twist accidentally. Locking the locked position can be achieved just as easily if a second locking recess defining the locked end position is provided on the circumference of the closure sleeve.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the figures of the accompanying drawing, without being limited thereto.

A locking device forming a bayonet lock has a locking housing 1 adjoining the
In the
Fig. 1 und 4 zeigen die unverriegelte Endstellung der Verschlußhülse 10, in der die Längsnuten 9 der Verschlußkolbenbohrung 2 und die Ausweitungen 11 der Verschlußhülse 10 miteinander fluchten, und das Rastelement 12 in die Rastausnehmung 13 eingedrückt ist.1 and 4 show the unlocked end position of the
If the
