Definitions

  • the invention relates to a folder made of cardboard with a first and a second stapler cover, with a stapling device with tongues and perforated strips, in particular for school use, in which the two stapler covers with a flexible, made of paper or textile material made of natural fibers strips foldable are, which is provided in the longitudinal extent at least near its lateral boundaries with an application of a glue or adhesive, built on a natural basis, with which the connection between the strip and the stapler cover can be produced
  • Cardboard file folders are known; in the course of its manufacture, the required section of cardboard is cut from tape, folded according to the desired shape and stapled; the stapling device necessary for the flat file with tongues and punched tape finally inserted into the holes provided. These flat files are too expensive, especially for school use.
  • plastic binders in which a (often clear) first stapler cover as the front and a second stapler cover with the stapler as the back are hinged together by means of a plastic strip in the manner of a foil hinge, the connection of plastic strips with the first stapler cover on the one hand and with the second stapler cover on the other hand by welding.
  • the stapling device is guided through these staplers through the back of the stapler and covered by the plastic strips connecting the two stapler covers on the front and the back.
  • these folder are characterized by the fact that they cause considerable disposal problems due to the plastic.
  • Made of cardboard or the like folder produced for example, describes GB-A-325 966; it relates to a folder for paper or similar sheets, which is formed by a front and a back, which are joined together by means of a back connector designed as a frog, the back connector having extensions which are adhesively bonded to the front and to the back are connected.
  • the folder and the back connector can be made of strong paper or thin cardboard. It is provided with a stapling device that has to be inserted separately; for this purpose, a rail is provided on which the tabs are riveted. This document does not teach the individual parts to be put together in an advantageous manner.
  • the back of the two stapler covers has at least one incision near the edge facing the flexible strip, symmetrical to the center, through which the stitching tongue is passed.
  • This tacking tongue is covered by the flexible strip of the corresponding width, the glue for the glue application on the flexible strip and / or on the corresponding edge regions of the stapler cover being a glue that is meltable under the influence of temperature on a natural basis.
  • a natural glue that melts under the influence of temperature for example based on a natural resin, is provided as the glue for the glue application on the flexible strip and / or the corresponding edge regions of the stapler cover.
  • the glues or adhesives which can be melted under the influence of temperature meet the conditions to be met for mass production.
  • the manufacturing facilities for plastic flat file can still be used for the production of a flat file made of cardboard and thus to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, which allows easy conversion of production.
  • This manufacture is made possible in that the applied, meltable glue quickly cools after application and loses its adhesiveness, so that the glued pieces can be transported to the next station in the course of manufacture. There the heated welding bars, through which the meltable glue is melted and its adhesive power is gained, produce the desired connections between the stapler cover and the backing strip.
  • DE-C-805 872 already describes a process for the production of book and portfolio backs from natural adhesives, such as rubber, in which a connection to the book or portfolio covers is made from an unvulcanized rubber mixture simultaneously with the vulcanization with the aid of adhesive layers ; This publication also mentions natural rubber mixtures and the use of natural latex-hemoglobin combinations as additional adhesive layers. There is no suggestion to use glue or adhesive that melts under the influence of temperature.
  • the alternative form takes a flexible strip of a textile material instead of the paper, advantageously both the paper and the textile material of the flexible strip being constructed at least largely on a natural fiber basis.
  • the use of materials that are (almost) built entirely on a natural basis avoids the use of plastics and thus ensures that rotting occurs when the loose-leaf binder - roughly shredded - reaches a landfill. With these flexible strips connecting the two lids to one another, sufficient durability is achieved for the intended use.
  • the stapling device is connected to one of the stapler covers, for example in that incisions are provided near the edge facing the flexible strip and symmetrically to the center, through which the stitching tongue is guided.
  • the rear of the stapler cover near the edge facing the flexible strip has an incision symmetrical to the center through which the stitching tongue is passed.
  • the stitching tongue lies in its central area between the stapler cover and the side strip glued to it and is thus covered.
  • the rear side of the stapler cover near the edge facing the flexible strip has double incisions symmetrically to the center through which the stitching tongue is guided.
  • the stitching tongue runs between the two incisions on the back of the stapler cover
  • the incision pairs only the part of the stitching tongue runs on the back, which lies under the flap formed by the incision pair.
  • the width of the flexible strip is provided such that the parts of the tongue of the stapling device guided through one of the two stapler covers are covered by the strip.
  • the tongue can also be used for gluing be included and thus fixed.
  • the stitching tongue is provided with widenings arranged symmetrically to the center, upstream of the incisions, the width of which exceeds the incision width and thus fixes the stitching tongue.
  • These extensions which are designed as projections protruding on one or both sides, are arranged in such a way that they prevent them from being pushed through the incisions. Both embodiments of this folder can also be mass-produced in a simple manner and disposed of accordingly.
  • the stapler cover forming the back of the stapler is preferably provided with a pocket, formed by a pocket strip, with its vertical extent is equal to the height and its width extension is at most 2/3, preferably 1/4 the width of the stapler cover, and the upper, the outer and the lower edge region of the pocket strip and / or the edges of the stapler cover assigned to these edge regions with a strip-shaped glue or adhesive application for connecting pocket strips and stapler cover.
  • a production process is advantageously used with which plastic plastic files are produced per se.
  • a possibility for glue application is switched on, whereby a heatable transfer roller is used to transfer a meltable natural adhesive, such as rosin, as a glue strip to the stapler cover and / or the flexible strip of textile material, which immediately cools and solidifies, which means that both the stapler cover and the flexible strip can be easily moved in the manufacturing process.
  • a meltable natural adhesive such as rosin
  • the flat file which consists only of easily disposable materials, can be economically manufactured with the known devices for producing the hard-to-dispose flat file made of plastic, it being understood that the application of the adhesive strip is not necessary during the course of production got to; for example, the flexible strip of textile material can be provided with such an application, so that an adhesive application station in the course of the manufacturing device can be dispensed with.
  • the open file in its lower part consists of the upper stapler cover 1 and the lower stapler cover 2. These two essentially identical covers are connected by means of a flexible strip 3, 3 glue or adhesive applications being provided on both sides of the longitudinal edges of this strip, with the aid of which the connection of the stapler cover 1 and 2 and the associated edge areas of the flexible strip 3 can be made. Between the two (not specified) edge areas with the glue or glue application is a central strip 3.1 forming the back of the flat file, which is kept free from glue or glue application.
  • the lower stapler cover 2 is provided with the stapling device which is arranged near the edge of this lower stapler cover 2 assigned to the flexible strip.
  • This consists of a strip with the tongue 6 protruding on both sides and the hole 7.1 with the holes 7.1 which are provided at a distance from the usual holes.
  • the paper to be kept which is provided with a hole at the hole distance from the tongue 7, can be bent with the bent ends of the tongue 6 be grasped and fixed, the ends of the tongue being folded in the usual way after the attachment of the tab 7.
  • the width of the pocket strip is smaller; for loose leaves or the like simply insert it into the pockets and hold it securely, the width of the pocket strip 4 is kept less than 2/3 of the width of the stapler cover 2 or 1 (a favorable width is 1/4 the width of the stapler cover).
  • FIG. 2a shows a simple attachment of the staple tongue 6: on both sides of the line of symmetry, the stapler cover 2, near the flexible strip 3, has incisions 2.1, through which the staple tongue 6 is inserted from the rear.
  • the stitching tongue 6 itself is provided with widenings 6.1 which, when the stitching tongue 6 is inserted, are close to these incisions 2.1 and thus prevent the inserted stitching tongue 6 from moving.
  • FIG. 2b shows another possibility of attaching the stapling device in the stapler cover 2, which is provided on both sides of the line of symmetry with two parallel incisions 2.2 through which the stapling tongue 6 is guided so that it runs essentially on the inside of the stapler cover 2.
  • the tongue 6 is defined by the incisions, the punched tape allows fixing the sheets to be stapled in a known manner.
  • the flat file designed in this way consists essentially or entirely of natural substances, is adapted to the needs of a mass product and can be disposed of without any problems.
