Definitions
- the invention relates to a filler cover with a profile frame for closing manholes, sleeves for inserting lifting tools, and optionally also fastening bolts for releasably connecting the filler cover to the casing of the manhole opening, being fixed to the profile frame in the region of at least two, preferably all corners.
- a filler cover with a profile frame for closing manholes, sleeves for inserting lifting tools, and optionally also fastening bolts for releasably connecting the filler cover to the casing of the manhole opening, being fixed to the profile frame in the region of at least two, preferably all corners.
- whose end face is preferably in the cover surface and with cover plates arranged in the corners of the cover, two edges of the cover plate meeting in one corner of the cover plate lying snugly against the profile frame of the filler cover at least over part of their length.
- the invention now shows a solution to this problem, which consists in the fact that, in the case of a filler cap of the type mentioned at the outset, the cover plate is detachably pushed on and flush with the cover surface and the sleeves have a stop at a distance from the end face which is preferably formed by a widening of the sleeve and on which the cover plate rests.
- the design of the filler lid according to the invention allows it to be used for brittle materials (for example tiles) as a floor covering and accordingly also as a surface of the filler lid with the platelets in the corners, it being possible also in the corner area in which the sleeve is located, to adapt the flooring material to the edges of the tiles using straight cut lines.
- a sharp-edged preparation allows quick processing, compared to cutting out a curved line or a hole.
- the plate is pulled off the sleeve and the carpet is laid into the corner of the profile frame, so that the filler lid has a practically uninterrupted surface, which also means in the shaft area the surface covering of the respective room, through which the filler lid experiences almost no interruption.
- the free edges of the cover plate that is, those edges that do not rest on the profile frame of the filler cover, run obliquely to the cover surface. This ensures after installing the flooring material of great construction height that the cover plates are held in place because their edges engage behind the flooring material in the filler cap.
- the opening of the sleeve can be releasably closed by a cap, the cap having an axially extending extension which bears against the inner wall of the sleeve or against the inner wall of a recess in the head of a fastening bolt inserted into the sleeve.
- this configuration contributes to improving the stop of the filling lid provided with the floor covering and on the other hand prevents the ingress of dust and Dirt in the sleeve, which can ensure that, if necessary, the lifting tools can be easily inserted into the sleeve.
- 1 denotes a profile frame which is used to form a filler cap for closing manholes.
- the filler lid is trough-shaped and has a bottom.
- Steel reinforcement is inserted into the floor for reinforcement, after which the filler cap is poured with concrete, in the most favorable case with B 400, in order to achieve the test load required in most cases, to which the floor covering is then applied, which is up to the height of the Cover surface 4 is sufficient.
- a quadrangular frame formed from four miter-cut profiles is shown, sleeves 2 being arranged on the profile frame in the region of all corners of the filler cover and fixed to the profile frame 1 by welding. These sleeves are used for the insertion of lifting tools, possibly also of fastening bolts for the detachable connection of the filler cover to the casing 18 of the shaft opening.
- the end face of the sleeves is preferably in the lid surface.
- a cover plate 6 is fitted onto the sleeves 2 and is flush with the cover surface 4.
- the cover plate 6 is also rectangular in shape, with two edges 7 and 8 of the cover plate 6 colliding in a corner of the cover plate 6 on the profile frame 1 of the filler cap at least above fit part of their length.
- the sleeves 2 At a distance from their end face 3, the sleeves 2 have a stop 5, which is formed by a widening of the sleeve 2 and against which the cover plate 6 rests.
- the free edges 9 and 10 of the cover plate 6 are formed obliquely to the cover surface 4.
- the cover plate 6 is pulled off the sleeve 2 and a piece of the carpet, which corresponds to the filler surface of the filler cap, is cut out and has four holes where the carpet is pushed onto the sleeves. In this way, the stretched carpet extends all the way to the edge of the profile frame 1.
- the floor covering in the area of the filler cover is only interrupted by the openings corresponding to the size of the end faces of the sleeve. If the filler lid is used in a room or outdoors, the floor covering located in the vicinity of the shaft opening, for example of terrazzo, artificial stone, marble, wash concrete or the like.
- the cover plate 6 remains on the sleeve 2 and the covering plates are cut out in a straight line in the area of the corners of the profile frame 1 such that they lie flush with the cover plate. Straight cut-outs are easy to make and generally do not damage the surface of the panels. The free edges of the cover plate 6 engage behind the plates made of ceramic material and are thus secured against being pulled off the sleeves.
- a collar 19 is arranged in the interior of the sleeve, which has grooves 20 running at two diametrically opposite locations in the axial direction of the sleeve. Radially projecting pins can be inserted into these grooves from a rod, the rod being rotated about its longitudinal axis after the pins have been inserted into the grooves, so that the pins rest on the underside of the collar 19 and the profile frame is thus lifted off the casing 18 can.
- the opening 11 of the sleeve 2 can be releasably closed by a cap 12, the cap 12 having an axially extending one Has extension 13 which bears on the inner wall of the sleeve 2 or on the inner wall 14 of a recess 15 in the head 16 of a fastening bolt 17 inserted into the sleeve 2.
- This fastening bolt 17 is used to screw the profile frame to the casing 18 of the shaft opening.
- the enclosure has inserts 21, which are provided with an internal thread corresponding to the thread of the fastening bolt 17 and are fixed in the frame 18, for example by welding.
- the profile frame 1 can be provided with a circumferential groove 21, in which a foam rubber sealing strip is inserted, which is pressed onto the frame 18 by means of the fastening bolts 17 when the profile frame 1 is pressed on and thus causes a tight closure of the shaft.
- the cover plate 6 ensures maximum flexibility in processing in the corner area of the filler cap.
- a very good example of this is the processing of artificial stone or terrazzo.
- the cover plates are placed and worked in, which results in a technically good solution.
- terrazzo or artificial stone can also be poured in liquid in the lid. In this case, the cover plate is not absolutely necessary, but ultimately gives a perfect optical picture.
