Wall building boards and plasterboards are often used for the production of light partition walls as well as plasterboard, which serve to clad walls and ceilings as well as a plaster base. Perforated ceiling panels are used for reverberation regulation, but also for ventilation purposes. These prefabricated panels are made of pure plaster or with aggregates.
- the aim of the invention is to provide a plate or the like. to create, which has an artistically effective coloring with relatively high strength. This is achieved by mixing a solid base material containing between 90 to 92%, preferably 91%, alpha gypsum and 10 to 8%, preferably 9%, methyl cellulose in a ratio of about 1.5: 0.63 to form a lump-free mass and then adding a base dye , whereupon the mixture is mixed until a uniformly colored mass has formed, then dye is introduced into the mass in the form of lines or dots until streaks of color form, and finally the mass is poured into a mold and removed from the mold after it has hardened.
- a plate produced by means of the method according to the invention has a color structuring which, when the color is introduced in a line, corresponds approximately to a marble, but a multiple variation of the coloring is possible due to the manner in which the color is introduced. In this way, with at least partial punctiform introduction of the color, a color pattern can be produced which has irregularly distributed color spots, also of different colors, which particularly appeals to modern-feeling people.

- the now solid plate can be removed from the mold and placed on a flat surface for final hardening.
- the resulting panel can be processed with any tool suitable for woodworking. Any commercially available clear lacquer can be used to protect the surface. Water-soluble sealing waxes, which are used for wood sealing, have proven particularly useful.
- the still plastic mass is cast with already hardened parts, which then form the shape for the mass.
