Abstract

In a process for making panels or the like, containing gypsum, a solid material containing between 90 and 92 per cent by weight of alpha-gypsum and 10 to 8 per cent by weight of methylcellulose is mixed with water in a material/water ratio of about 1.5:0.63 to give a lump-free mass, and a base dyestuff is then added. Mixing is then continued until a mass uniformly dyed throughout has been formed, and dyestuff is then introduced in lines or points into the mass, until colour streaks form. Finally, the mass is cast into a mould and, after it has hardened, taken out of the mould. This process produces a panel or the like which has a colouring giving an artistic effect, coupled with relatively high strength. <IMAGE>

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Platten od. dgl., enthaltend Gips, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein fester Stoff, enthaltend zwischen 90 bis 92 Gewichtsprozent, vorzugsweise 91%, Alphagips und 10 bis 8 Gewichtsprozent, vorzugsweise 9%, Methylzellulose, mit Wasser im Verhältnis Stoff: Wasser von etwa 1.5 : 0.63 zu einer klumpenfreien Masse vermischt und anschließend ein Grundfarbstoff beigegeben wird, worauf solange gemischt wird, bis eine gleichmäßig durchgefärbte Masse entstanden ist, anschließend Farbstoff linien- oder punktförmig in die Masse eingebracht wird, bis sich Farbschlieren bilden, schließlich die Masse in eine Form gegossen und nach ihrem Aushärten aus der Form entnommen wird.1.
