Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an independent module for manufacturing prestressed concrete products, its preparation device and the products obtained with such modules.
  • the manufacturing technique for these products is based on the provision in the molds, before concreting, of special steels for prestressing; these are held by one of their ends beyond one end of the mold, and receive at their other end, beyond the other end of the mold, a force causing them to have elastic elongation. After pouring, setting and drying the concrete, the steels are relaxed and released, thus putting the molded product in prestress.
  • Steels are generally wires which can be used over long lengths, the tension being the same in all respects.
  • the consumption of long products (beams and beams) being significant, we developed the technique of mass production on large benches.
  • These consist of a long (50 to 100 meters and more) and flat slab on which there is a plurality of modules, each comprising several molds arranged in parallel.
  • Steel wires run the entire length of the bench between two massifs where they are anchored. The molds of the adjacent modules are aligned so that a cable passes successively through all of the modules.
  • one of the production techniques is manufacturing on a carousel. It is a closed circuit composed of successive stations, each station corresponding to a particular operation.
  • This technique adapts well to the production of medium-sized elements of the order of a few meters (up to about 20 meters), transportable from station to station and inside an oven, and capable of be handled easily. It also adapts to variable production rates according to demand.
  • An objective of the invention is, on the one hand to increase the rate of use of a carousel for manufacturing concrete products, and on the other hand to regulate this production, by introducing into the carousel the manufacture of products usually sold from stock, such as pre-stressed concrete beams or lintels.
  • Carousel installations are known for elongated products prestressed in particular by patents US-A-3,577,610, GB-A-2,113,600 or US-A-3,281,911, however the products are produced in independent molds, one from the other. other and not grouped and arranged in a module, and the molds themselves have a framework supporting the prestressing forces.
  • EP-A-0 057 635 describes a device for producing pre-stressed elongated products in a carousel.
  • the head screens on which the ends of the wires are anchored relate directly to the concrete product. It is therefore not possible to relax the wires in the screens before cutting them, which is a serious drawback from the point of view of operator safety and for the quality of the product.
  • the shape of the molds cannot be arbitrary because the mold release must take place by lifting the product simultaneously with the release of the tensioning hooks.
  • the device does not allow the production of prestressed pre-slabs because it is impossible in practice to produce head screens supporting without stress the stress imposed by the large number of steel wires.
  • Another objective of the invention is the production of an independent module for manufacturing small prestressed concrete products of the beam, beam or pre-slab or other type in molds usable in large benches such as those described in the aforementioned patents of the applicant, for example.
  • the subject of the invention is a module for manufacturing flat or elongated products of prestressed concrete of the type comprising a rigid frame made up of two longitudinal members held parallel by at least two spacers and intended to receive at least one mold placed on the spacers, and a means for hooking and tensioning a bundle of steel wires intended to pass through said mold, characterized in that it comprises two trimmers for tensioning and maintaining steel wires, one fixed, mounted at one end of the side members, the other mobile, connected to the other end of the side members by at least one tensioning jack, the headers being and remaining mechanically independent of the mold, so that the module contains molds of the type used in the big benches.
  • the module is also remarkable in that the headers each carry a comb for prepositioning the wires.
  • the invention also relates to the method of placing the steel wires in the module defined above and to the device for placing the wires in the combs.
  • the device is characterized in that it comprises a pair of combs each consisting of a cross-member provided with anchor-carrying members, on which the ends of the wires are intended to be hung, a pair of fixed supports, intended to carry the sleepers during the laying and anchoring of the ends of the wires, and a device for handling the sleepers and the bundle of wires, for tensioning the wires, and for laying the sleepers on the module headers.
  • the handling device consists of a pair of claws each suspended from a beam which move away from the guide and rolling rails by lower horizontal rollers and by lateral rollers.
  • the invention also relates to the flat or elongated product in prestressed concrete produced in a module as defined above.
  • the module 1 is a rectangle frame inside which the formworks are arranged.
  • the formwork can be either: a pre-slab plate 3a, beam molds 3b of the type described in the aforementioned patents, or lintel molds 3c.
  • the frame is formed on the one hand by two longitudinal parallel beams 2, or equivalent elements, dimensioned to take up the prestressing forces, held by spacers 4 preferably profiles, on the other hand by two trimmers 5, 6 perpendicular to the beams , intended to receive a comb where the prestressed steel wires 20 are positioned and anchored and to tension the bundle of wires.
  • One 5 of the two headers is fixed, rigidly mounted at one of the ends 7 of the side members, the other 6 is mobile and is connected to the opposite ends 8 of said side members by a jack 9 for tensioning.
  • the upper surface of the spacers 4 defines a plane on which the molds 3 rest ( Figure 2).
  • the components 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 are mechanically rigidly assembled so that the various manipulations do not lead to harmful deformations.
  • modules 1 can be incorporated into the various systems for manufacturing concrete elements by carousels, therefore their dimensions are variable. We can however fix as a medium base, a width of 2.70 mx 12.50 m long and a height requirement of around 60 cm; this last dimension is dependent on the products to be manufactured while the other two are more linked to the geometry of the manufacturing carousel which will receive the modules.
  • Two profiles 10 are also arranged along the side members 2, on the outer ribs. These are rolling and guide profiles intended for the movement of the module in the carousel.
  • the originality of the module is that it can be prepared in a station separate from the carousel path, and above all that the steel wires 20 can be put in place on a comb which will then be installed in the formwork 3 themselves installed. in the module, this installation being carried out in a station provided for this purpose.
  • the device for laying the steel wires comprises a pair of combs 11 each consisting of a cross member 12 and a plurality of anchoring support members 13.
  • the anchoring support members are extensions integral with the cross member 12 (by screwing 15 or other means), perpendicular to the cross member. They each comprise at least one opening 14 passing through each being intended to be crossed by a steel wire 20.
  • the arrangement of the members 13 on the cross member and passage openings 14 in each member depends on the products to be produced and on the distribution of the constraints. In the example, the members 13 have only one opening, each therefore will only carry one wire.
  • the device comprises a pair of fixed supports 16, intended to carry the crosspieces 12 during the laying and anchoring of the ends of the wires.
  • These supports can be produced in different ways; in the variant shown they are mounted on feet 17 fixed to the ground provided with adjustment means 18 making it possible to position the supports parallel to each other at a dimension L corresponding to the required position of the anchors.
  • the supports include arms 19 whose upper end is shaped to hold a horizontal gutter 21. This is intended to receive the anchor-carrying members 13. To this end the extensions are extended in the form of a finger 22 or equivalent of the same conformation as the profile of the gutter.
  • the comb 11, consisting of the cross member 12 and the members 13 can circulate in the gutter.
  • the anchors 23 are keys of a type known per se: they are in the form of a metal body 24 provided with an axial cavity 25 slightly conical, calibrated to receive and retain a steel wire 20. The inner wall of the cavity is coated with a jaw 26. The bottom 27 of the key is closed.
  • the device comprises an apparatus for laying anchors or anchoring apparatus 50. It consists of a funnel 28, followed by a perpendicular groove 29, of conformation similar to that of the gutter 21, and a receptacle 30 for positioning the anchors.
  • the receptacle is closed with a vertical wall 32 against which the anchoring abuts.
  • the axis 31 of the funnel and the bottom of the receptacle are in communication so that the wire can pass through the anchoring device until it stops against the bottom of the key, itself in abutment against the wall 32.
  • an anchor 23 is placed in the receptacle 30, the entry of the central cavity 25 against the opening 14.
  • the steel wire 20 is engaged in the funnel towards the anchor and it is pushed through the anchor-carrying member and the key until it comes into abutment on the bottom of the key.
  • the anchoring device is equipped above with a reserve 33 in which a batch of anchors 23 are loaded.
  • This reserve communicates with the receptacle 30 via a supply corridor 34.
  • the receptacle is provided with a side door 35, the opening of which is controlled by a trigger 36 or any equivalent means.
  • the trigger When an anchoring is carried out the trigger is actuated, the crosspiece is pushed into the gutter; the anchor leaves the receptacle and leaves room for the next anchor which falls by gravity, in position to receive the next wire.
  • the laying device according to the invention comprises a handling device 37 whose function is, on the one hand to take the assembly constituted by the bundle 38 of wires mounted on two combs 12, 13 parallel, to carry it, and the set up on a module 1.
  • the handling device comprises an extendable main beam 39 (by any known means and not shown), provided with at least one lifting hook 40, at the ends of which two parallel second beams 41 are fixed, each provided with claws 42 in the shape of a groove adapted to the profile of the cross member 12.
  • These beams 41 are liable to move apart by the extension of the main beam 39, to take the crosspieces and thereby lift the combs.
  • the handling device is designed to put the steel wires in slight overvoltage. This overvoltage has the effect of stretching all the wires and is intended to ensure the correct introduction of all the wires 20 and anchor carriers 13 into the comb supports of the trimmers 5 and 6.
  • the handling device comprises a pair of beams 43 to which two gripping claws 44 are fixed.
  • the beams roll on rollers 45 and are guided by rollers 46.
  • the rails 47 are very slightly apart so that the movement of the beam spreads the claws and consequently the crosspieces.
  • the crosspieces are in front of the module, the tensioned wires ready to be put in place.
  • brackets 48 are provided on which the combs are placed; the anchor-carrying members rest in gutters identical to the positioning gutters 21 (FIG. 7).
  • the shape of the molds does not depend on the demolding process, because one can use molds that open laterally, like those used in production on large benches.
  • this module can be used in a carousel without substantially modifying the operation of said carousel.
  • the carousel previously reserved for the production of slabs, becomes a multi-product installation.
  • the modules being prepared outside the carousel circuit, the operation is not interrupted by the change of shape, and the production can be continuous.
