Definitions

  • the invention relates to a rail-guided vehicle for elevated railways, with a chassis, consisting of paired wheels, which are articulated against the rail from above and below and from the side with the help of wheel shoes mounted on a bearing plate, the bearing plate with is articulated to the frame of the vehicle.
  • Chassis of this construction are known in large fairground shops, in particular roller coasters, loops and the like. Tubes connected mainly by traverses are used as rails, against which impellers are placed from above, below and from the outside, the outer surface of which is cylindrical. From DE-GM 83 02 675 it is known, for example, to store the wheels in groups in bearing blocks and to arrange these bearing blocks in an articulated manner on the chassis. In this or similar other way, the aim is to maintain contact between all running wheels on the rail, in particular on curved sections or mountain and valley sections.
  • the invention has for its object to develop a chassis for such rail-guided, moving at high speed showman vehicles that a particularly silent adaptation of all wheels to the Rail guidance enables and is able to absorb the high centrifugal forces that occur so that they do not affect the running properties of the wheels.
  • the invention consists in that the bearing plate is elastically supported by a ball joint on a bearing block connected to the frame of the vehicle and is also elastically and articulatedly supported on the frame by means of a ball joint extending transversely to the direction of travel.
  • end shield is designed as a relatively narrow rocker which is articulated and resiliently supported in two places relative to the frame of the vehicle and which also takes up articulated and resiliently mounted cycling shoes which move to both sides of extend the swing arm and thus bring about a stabilization of the position of the swing arm through the running wheels.
  • Such a vehicle is also characterized by a large damping of the driving noise, because all joints and supports are provided with rubber-elastic bodies, which are known per se in storage technology.
  • the wheel shoe intended for mounting the upper wheels is firmly connected to the end shield, in particular welded. This means that the forces acting on this cycling shoe are transmitted directly to the end shield, which can follow the movements of the cycling shoe because it is guided elastically on the bearing block and on the coupling. As a result of this elastic mounting, it is also prevented that the cornering, Ascents and / or descents and forces acting on the chassis are not significantly transferred to the vehicle itself.
  • the cycling shoe intended for mounting the upper wheels has a frame-shaped central part with wheel shoe levers adjoining it on opposite sides, the central part encompassing the bearing block connected to the frame of the vehicle and hubs spaced apart from one another for receiving and fastening a has elastic ball joint penetrating bolt.
  • This measure in particular facilitates the assembly of the chassis on the vehicle and reduces the space required for the chassis.
  • the individual wheel shoe intended for mounting the lower or lateral running wheels is supported elastically on the bearing plate on the one hand by means of a ball joint and on the other hand is elastically supported in the radial direction relative to the bearing plate in relation to the rail.
  • the individual pivotable cycling shoe consists of a housing-like central part with two cycling shoe levers adjoining on opposite sides and with a hub extending transversely to the cycling shoe levers, the central part comprising a support body and the hub comprising a ball-and-socket bearing body made of rubber or the like. It is recommended that one against the support body screw guided in the end shield can be adjusted in the direction of the rail.
  • the bearing body preferably consists of two ball joints arranged axially one behind the other, which are clamped to the bearing plate by means of a bolt which passes through both ball joints. Ball joints of this type are known, for example, under the brand name "spheribloc".
  • a rail (1) designed as a tube is shown in cross-section, which in places is firmly connected to cross members (2).
  • two rails (1) together with the crossbeams (2) form a framework that is attached to supports.
  • the frame (3) of the vehicle articulates the individual chassis, which essentially consists of a bearing plate (6), on which paired upper wheels (25), lower wheels (27) and side wheels (26) (see Figure 2) are.
  • a bearing block (4) is attached to the frame (3), which has a ball joint (5) for mounting the bearing plate (6).
  • This ball joint consists of a rubber body (16) guided in the bearing block (4) with a concavely shaped inner wall, into which a ball sleeve (14) engages, which is clamped via a bolt (15) to the hubs (13) of the end shield (6).
  • These hubs (13) are part of a cycling shoe (11) for the upper wheels (25). This cycling shoe (11) is firmly connected to the end shield (6) by welding.
  • the outer hub (13) is supported against the end shield (6) via a shoulder (10).
  • This mounting of the bearing plate (6) around the ball joint (5) enables the bearing plate (6) to carry out three-dimensional movements around the ball joint (5).
  • the bearing plate (6) is articulated to the frame (3) of the vehicle via a coupling (7).
  • the arrangement of an elastic ball joint (8) on one eye (9) of the end shield (6) is shown symbolically.
  • the same articulated mounting of the coupling (7) on the frame (3) of the vehicle is provided.
  • This coupling (7) extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the rail (1) and therefore absorbs tensile and compressive forces which act on the end shield (6) when cornering at high speed via the wheels (25, 26, 27). Due to the elastic design of the ball joint (8), for example due to the appropriately shaped rubber body, the end shield (6) can also pivot about the axis of the bolt (5) by a certain angle and thus adapt to the position caused by the impellers ( 25,26,27) is forced during cornering, ascent and descent.
  • the wheel shoes (17) for the side wheels (26) and the lower wheels (27) are rotatably suspended on the bearing plate (6) and are also elastically supported in the radial direction with respect to the rail (1).
  • the individual cycling shoe (17) has a housing-like middle part (18), to which the parts that extend in opposite directions extend Cycling shoe levers (28) are attached.
  • the central part (18) is laterally provided with a hub (19), the axis of which extends parallel to the axis of the rail (1).
  • this hub (19) is guided on the bearing shoe (6) in a torsionally elastic manner via two ball joints (20) arranged one behind the other.
  • the individual ball joint (20) consists of a bearing body (22) made of rubber or the like with a concave inner surface into which a ball sleeve (30) engages, which is clamped to the bearing plate (6) via a bolt (31).
  • the cycling shoe (17) can perform elastic evasive movements on the one hand about the axis of the bolt (31) and on the other hand in radial planes to this axis.
  • a support body (21) made of rubber or the like is arranged, against which a screw (24) acts via the plate (23).
  • the screw (24) guided in the end shield (6) enables the wheel shoe (17) and thus the running wheels (27) or (26) to be positioned radially against the rail (1) and thus to determine the contact pressure. Bumps or radial forces are absorbed by the elasticity of the support body (21).
  • the wheel shoe lever (28) for the upper wheels (25) is, as already mentioned, firmly connected to the end shield 6), for example welded.
  • this cycling shoe lever has a frame-shaped central part (32) which has the hubs (13) (compare FIG. 1) and engages around the ball joint (5) of the bearing block (4). In this way, a particularly simple assembly of the bearing plate (6) on the bearing block (4) is made possible.
  • the individual impellers (25, 26, 27) are mounted on their cycling shoe levers (28) in a noise-damping manner, it also being expedient to provide the hubs of the impellers (25, 26, 27) with rubber-elastic intermediate layers. Such constructions are previously known and therefore do not require any special description.
