Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hinge, preferably for articulating a door or flap to a supporting wall of a body part, with a pot-shaped pivotable hinge part and with a hinge arm which can be fastened to the supporting wall via a supporting plate and which are articulated to one another by two links (see the patent document DE- A-3442421).
  • a door hinged with such a hinge executes a pivoting movement when it is opened, in which the narrow end face of the door located on the articulation side migrates laterally with its outer edge over the end region of the door in the closed position.
  • This can usually be accepted because normally there is a free space adjacent to the hinged narrow end face of the door or there is a sufficiently large gap between this end face and the end face of an adjacent door or adjoining components so that the outer edge abuts that between the narrow face and the front of the door is formed, is not to be feared when opening.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a hinge of the type mentioned, which enables a wide opening of the door even without hindrance if the door has a large thickness or a large distance between the bore for the pivotable hinge part and the narrow end face of the joint Has door and is arranged with only a narrow joint adjacent to an adjacent door or an adjacent component or in addition with decorative strips or the like. is provided.
  • this object is achieved in a door of the generic type in that a link extends beyond the hinge pin mounted on the hinge arm and in the area of this extension either articulated via a link forming a coupling or by means of a slot-like guide with a pin of the support plate or is connected to an intermediate plate that can be connected to this in such a way that when the handlebar is pivoted, the hinge arm is pivotally and longitudinally displaceably held on the support plate or the intermediate plate by means of elongated bolt guides.
  • the hinge arm executes a pivoting movement inward with a simultaneous displacement outward when the pivotable hinge part is pivoted into its open position, so that the gap between the joint-side end face immediately occurs with the opening of the door the door and an adjacent component and between the inside of the door and the end face of the supporting wall carrying this considerably.
  • the hinge arm thus performs a pivoting movement opposite to the door with simultaneous displacement outwards, so that the hinged edge region of the door is displaced inwards and outwards from the closed position when it is opened, so that there is a sufficiently large free space if the door has a considerable thickness or the like with decorative strips. is provided.
  • the hinge arm performs a translational movement to the outside during the opening movement, which is superimposed on a pivoting movement counter to the pivoting movement of the door
  • the pivotable hinge part which forms the door stop part, can be formed with only a small depth, so that the invention Hinge with appropriate training is particularly suitable for hinging glass doors.
  • the hinge according to the invention Due to the mobility of the hinge arm, a large opening angle can be achieved with the hinge according to the invention. This is smaller than the opening angle of so-called wide-angle hinges. For this, however, the hinge according to the invention can be manufactured more compact, robust, space-saving and cheaper.
  • the rear and front areas of the side legs of the hinge arm and the side parts of the support or intermediate plate are connected to one another by means of elongated bolt guides, of which at least the front elongated holes of the guides extend at an acute angle to the outside .
  • the inner link is extended beyond the hinge pin which supports it on the hinge arm and is articulated in the region of the free end of the extension via the link forming a link to the base plate or intermediate plate.
  • the inner link is extended beyond the hinge pin mounted on the hinge arm, that this extension is provided with a slot-like guide for the bolt or bolts of the support or intermediate plate and that the bolt or bolts is additionally in the front elongated holes of the legs of the support arm are guided.
  • the slot-like guide in the extension of the handlebar can be provided in the legs of the cross-sectionally U-shaped handlebar or it can also be formed by a hairpin-shaped loop of the extension.
  • the rear, displaceable, articulated connection consists of a long slot guide with an elongated hole running approximately parallel to the support plate, while the long hole of the front long slot guide rises obliquely outwards, that is to say, moves away from the support plate.
  • the hinge arm executes a pivoting movement inwards with a simultaneous displacement outwards and consequently immediately with the opening of the door the gaps between the hinged end face of the door and one adjacent component and between the inside of the door and the front of the supporting wall carrying this considerably enlarge.
  • the hinge arm thus performs a pivoting movement opposite to the door with simultaneous displacement outwards, so that the hinged edge area of the door is displaced inwards and outwards from the closed position when it is opened, and thus there is a sufficiently large free space if the door is one has considerable thickness or the like with moldings. is provided.
  • This opposite pivoting movement of the hinge arm leads to the fact that the inwardly pivoted door narrows the clear width of the furniture and thus the pulling out of any sliding parts, such as drawers or the like. prevented.
  • the rear articulated connection consists of a coupling member which is articulated in the region of the rear end of the hinge arm on the one hand with this and on the other hand with the support or intermediate plate, and that the coupling member has such a length that the hinge arm performs at the rear region at least with its rear region a lifting movement when pivoting the pivotable hinge part into the open position, which movement is superimposed on the translationally outward movement of the hinge arm.
  • the hinge according to the invention due to the kinematics of the connection of the hinge arm to the support or intermediate plate, this is given a pivoting movement at least towards the end of the opening movement of the door, which is aligned with the pivoting direction of the opening door.
  • the elongated hole Bolt slot guide in the direction of the pivotable hinge part is sloping towards the supporting wall. This configuration makes it possible to ensure that a door opened by 90 ° is flush with the inside of the body part carrying it, if it is not even offset to the outside thereof.
  • the slot of the bolt-slot guide can have an inclination or curvature corresponding to the desired pivoting characteristic of the hinge arm.
  • the coupling member is articulated to a rear raised part of the support or intermediate plate, so that the coupling member can give the desired movement to the rear end region of the hinge arm in a simple manner.
  • the coupling member expediently consists of a U-shaped bracket, on the web parts of which adjoining regions of its legs are articulated on the supporting or intermediate plate.
  • the hinge shown in FIGS. 1 to 12 consists of a pivotable cup-shaped hinge part 1, which is articulated in a conventional manner with the cross-sectionally U-shaped hinge arm 6 by the links 2, 3 via the hinge pins 4, 5.
  • the outer ends of the links 2, 3 are mounted on hinge pins 7, 8.
  • the pivotable cup-shaped hinge part 1 is embedded in a milled hole 9 in the door 10 and fastened to the door 10 in the usual manner.
  • the cup-shaped hinge part 1 forms the pivotable door stop part and can also have any other suitable shape.
  • the inner link 3 is provided with an extension 11 which extends this beyond the bore 12 or the hinge pin 5.
  • a support plate 14 is screwed to the support wall 13 and is connected to a first intermediate plate 15 and a second intermediate plate 16 in the manner shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
