Definitions
- the invention relates to rolled non-ferrous metal sheets, preferably made of band-rolled alloyed zinc according to DIN 17770, for roofing and facade cladding, which can be laid on the substructure against the direction of the fall on a substructure by means of fixed seams and connected to one another by simple transverse folds which are bent on their sides.
- rolled zinc, copper, aluminum and lead sheets have been used for roofing and facade cladding for a long time, especially in the form of narrow strips and boards. These are fastened to a corresponding substructure or on a formwork with fixings and connected to one another by lying or standing folds.
- such sheets are used particularly for the design of facades and, due to their color and shape, represent an optical enrichment in building construction (DE-B-1 509 114; company publication: RHEINZINK® IM HOCHBAU, Rheinzink GmbH, Datteln, 1986, Pp. 17-47).
- a roof covering made of sheet metal which has a bent edge and a bent connecting strip at a distance therefrom, which is encompassed in the roof covering by the bent edge of the neighboring plate and forms a cavity together with the latter, which is filled with a hollow connecting profile.
- the metal sheets are against each other by adhering to these and to the roof structure tense.
- the roofing work is associated with a not inconsiderable effort.
- the surface design of the roof covering offers numerous areas of attack to wind forces.
- DE-C-3 700 595 describes a metallic cover plate for covering roofs and walls, which are divided by a double acute-angled, Z-shaped fold into two parallel, overlapping in the area of the fold, in the use position upper and lower plate parts.
- the lower plate part is provided with a simple acute-angled stop bend at the lower edge and the upper plate part is extended by a fastening edge, so that the upper bend can be used as a stop bar for the lower edge-side bend of the cover plate of the next higher row of cover plates and thus only the bottom row of cover plates must be aligned horizontally.
- the cover made from such cover plates is with a relatively large amount of material and is subject to an increased wind load due to their surface formation.
- non-ferrous sheets have a rhombic or square shape and the transverse folds are provided on the building side in the upper half and on site in the lower half.
- the sheets formed in this way can be laid in a template covering with the diagonal running in the direction of fall so that a symmetrical pattern with a rhythmic change from obliquely upwards to one side and to the other side step-shaped lines is created.
- a stencil covering offers only slight possibilities of attack to wind forces.
- the corner of the lower sheet metal half lying in the direction of fall is bent on site to form an eaves edge.
- a recess is made on the long sides of the transverse folds on the upper half of the plate on the building side, the depth of which corresponds at least to the wall thickness of the bending zone of the foldable element that can be pushed onto the leg of the transverse fold, so that the NE sheets at an angle to the left and top right can be pushed onto the cross folds of the upper sheet half of the previous sheet with one of their cross folds on the lower sheet half.
- the circuit board for producing the non-ferrous metal sheets has a rhombic or square outline with corner cuts, which has a rhombic or square codiagonal shape in the area of one diagonal and an arrowhead-shaped shape with the axis of symmetry in the area of the other diagonal Have shape and are so large that the cross folds to be bent do not overlap in the corner areas.
- the rolling direction of the blank runs parallel to two parallel sides.
- Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a plate (1) punched out of band-rolled titanium zinc according to DIN 17770 and 0.7 mm thick with a rhombic outline with corner cuts (2, 3), which has a rhombic codiagonal shape in the area of the smaller diagonal and in the area of the larger diagonal have an arrowhead-shaped shape with the axis of symmetry codiagonal.
- corner points of the meeting sides of the inner corners created by the corner cuts (2) in the area of the smaller diagonal intersect the dash-dotted lines (4) of the legs to be molded (5.5 ') of the transverse folds, on the sides of which run in the upper plate half (6) each have a recess (7).
- FIG. 2 shows a top view of a sheet suitable for a stencil covering
- FIG. 3 shows a section along the section line I-I of FIG. 2.
- a recessed grip which can be fastened to a substructure by nails or the like engages non-positively.
- the depth of the recess (7) corresponds at least to the thickness of the bending zone of the fold stick.
- the legs (5 ') of the transverse folds are bent on site and the lower corner (9) lying in the direction of the larger diagonal is bent on site to form an eaves edge (10).
- FIG. 4 shows a top view of a facade cladding formed from a plurality of metal sheets (1) and FIG. 5 shows a section along the section line II-II of FIG. 4.
- the sheets (1) are fastened in the manner of a stencil slate cover on a substructure by means of rabbets and arranged so that the legs (5) of the transverse folds of the upper plate half (6), which extend on the building side, each behind a leg (5 ') of the transverse folds provided on site of the sheet (1) of the lower half of the sheet (8) that adjoins at the top left and right.
Abstract
